I think most of us at the Myocardial Bridge group would love to have Prof. Kofidis do our unroofing but the reality is money is a big obstacle. Keep up the good work, Jeff!! You're doing a great job educating cardiologists to recognize the seriousness of MB.

As you know, the objective, our mission is to not only serve and support those with the condition of a myocardial bridge but it is equally to work to demonstrate to the medical community that we need to be taken seriously, that MB's are absolutely symptomatic and that the medical community must develop a protocol to assess MB's in patients complaining about chest pain. I am certain people with MB's are dying every day due to misdiagnosis and we never learn the true cause of the coronary blockage that caused their death. Please do everything you can to share our program with those that you come in contact with as you work through your situation and I hope you can get relief as well. I agree it is certainly a privilege for those that are able to get to Dr. Kofidis but do keep in mind that the cost of the surgery in Greece could be as little as one tenth the cost in the US.
