It's very simple acura is one of the best. I just sold my 2008 mdx with 330,000 miles. Acura was trying to offer me $1000 trade in for new ones. I sold it in the street for $4000. In a week.
Thank you Driving Sports TV for reviewing the MDX, I have been looking forward to a comprehensive review. I can hardly wait for the SH-AWD indepth review video..
The MDX has always been better than the X5. We still have our 2005 MDX, and its still running like new! My familly has owned a 2003 X5, and it was not nearly as great.
The BMW X5 is very expensive to maintain . BMWs Audi And Mercedes Benz Are nice cars but it’s very expensive to maintain. I recommend only Acura Infiniti and Lexus because they drive well and their drivable until they get maintain . And cheap to maintain the Asian luxury cars .
Great review! I still remember you did an awesome review way back on the 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD. The Adv. trim also has a heated steering wheel which is a must on a luxury SUV these days.
mdx looks good with the A-spec package. all they have to do is update the interior like the rdx and put that 10 speed Honda design (not that buggy ZF 9 speed) and this wil sell like pancakes
Great review! The only piece of constructive criticism I have is that at some point in each review you should mention the vehicle weight of the example you are driving/testing.
Love the video I was looking around and Finally test Drove one I recently had a 2015 Acura RDX AWD but wanted to see what SH-AWD is about and my god it’s amazing in snow I would have to say it’s better then some German cars in the Performance aspect and the reliability is just a added bonus. Can’t wait for the next video. Also can’t wait to see the 2020 version with the new interior and navigation similar to the RDX.
Hi Ryan. Thank you for posting. Excellent review, as always. You said this 2019 MDX has a ground clearance of 8 inches, but the Acura web site says it’s only 7.3”. The MDX was over 8” prior to 2014.
The seat may be able to find a comfortable sitting position. But as far as driving position, they’ll have to allow the steering to drop lower so you don’t feel like you’re driving a school bus
I drive my cars until the wheels fall off. I still own my 2006 MDX and still love it. I have over 168,000+ on it. Next year my wife and I will be moving up to Idaho. While there isn’t and car I can’t drive in the snow my wife won’t drink in it which means I will be driving her where she needs to go which my MDX is just fine in the snow than her Accord Coupe. I still have many years left on my MDX but when I do need a new Vehicle I will once again look to Acura though I heard the will be stopping production of the MDX so it might be the RDX when I do.
I really like this engine and awd system in my Ridgeline but I am not happy with Honda cylinder deactivation. It works fine when the vehicle is new but eventually it starts having its issues. I now have a vcmtuner to eliminate cylinder deactivation and now I have no issue just less hwy mpg at 22-23 hwy. Other than that I highly recommended the straight 6 engine.
@@ArseneLupin786 i am in a Honda Ridgeline forum on facebook and some people have had them in for years with no issue. I did just take my tuner out though because I'm towing and when the vehicle census a load cylinder deactivation does not engage. But I also was not liking the fact that I was getting 20 MPG Highway and 17 City other than that the performance was very smooth shifting and accelerating was awesome
I see all these reviews on this car yet NO ONE points out the obvious - IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE 2ND GENERATION MDX'S! I have a 2011 and love it. The 3rd gen MDX's ALL looked like shit. They lost that wide aggressive look and now they're FINALLY bring that look back. Just update the interior and cluster (like the RDX) and this thing will be perfect- again.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the vast majority of people who 'think' they need an SUV could, in reality, get by with a sedan. The TLX or RLX Hybrid would probably be perfect for them. Those cars should be pushed on people first before people even think about buying more of these fucking SUV's.
And you think thats sporty the dodge durango is the actual sporty suv with the rt trim you will get a hemi v8 wich is is the only v8 in its class and that what I call sporty
Not you again who buys buicks I swear every Acura video your Negative comments show people why they won’t buy a car from you 😂 a good car speaks for itself and frankly Buick is not doing well
So true. I own a 2017 Acura MDX and it plows through heavy snow like it's cookies. Amazing vehicle.

Yes.. that’s why i got MDX Aspec. It’s perfect for my needs, Reliable, Room, performances and looks.

Just got this car!! It’s awesome
FYI.. All MDX's have 20 inch wheels, except for the base , which has 18 inch wheels.. Love your reviews.. Watch them often.

New model has been spied. Maybe coming out by the end of this year
Heard a type s is coming
Prototype unveiled 2 months ago and production model this month already. It's gorgeous!
Acura put a ZF transmission in it? Those things are so over rated and buggy is a good word for them.
That's me, I love to look at the car every time I park.... Everytime...
I really love your style of car reviewing; thanks!

I got this same white one, as for now I'm the only one in my town that have the 2019 MDX A-Spec & it turn alot of heads on the road. #HappyCamper

Secret cubby also a great place for shotgun or rifle

cargo, efficiency & power are my priorities in any vehicle.
Is the Acura MDX a better car than the Infiniti 3-row SUV?
By far.
Ya by far would even consider anything else besides this and the pilot the only really reliable ones in the class except for the buggy trans
Definitely going to get it.

No, the MDX won't be discontinued at all. The new one will be available this coming year.
Love this car!
Thanks for sharing! Safety matters.
Hi Driving Sports TV, your reviews are great! When the sh-awd video review goes online?
Thanks! It should be done by tomorrow. Friday.
Make yellow turn signal lights at the rear for safety reason

Just wondering, if that tuner is reliable to use for the long term in the car? Thank you

Apple CarPlay - don't care about built in navigation.
Normal sized sunroof - I don't have to sit in the back seat, lol.

A great fun to travel in suv hands down!!!!!
They should change the interior design plus the should add 4 inches to make it a little more room .
Interior upd please chop chop
Offroad the 2020 volvo xc90 momentum awd please
music\track name plz
Love it but lost me at the dash. I’d rather have a Q7
Michael Canty depends on where you are, q7 is easily 20-30k more with similar build
Just wait till they update it than it will be better than a w7 oh and if you already bought one good luck in the shop

Nice video. I love the exterior design, but as you said, it is behind the competition in the electric/tech department.
Are those rust spots above the SH AWD badge already?
Ha ha. Leaves.
VCM is stupid, and something as simple as changing the fan speed still requires a two step process.
We need the Lexus LM, Toyota Alphard and Vellfire instead of this!
Lexus LX
Turbo powered or naturally aspirated?
The V6 is naturally aspirated.
@@drivingsports thanks!
Can you do Tesla plz
Mdx Hybrid
And you think thats sporty the dodge durango is the actual sporty suv with the rt trim you will get a hemi v8 wich is is the only v8 in its class and that what I call sporty
Cool Squad The Durango is a straight line monster, but the Acura is better at whipping around turns!
*Cough cough price is way to high for me*
That red interior is too much and doesn’t compliment the vehicle.
The Buick Enclave has sold more in some years. The new redesigned Enclave for 2018 just missed the MDX for best in segment.
Norm T when will you stop?
Not you again who buys buicks I swear every Acura video your Negative comments show people why they won’t buy a car from you 😂 a good car speaks for itself and frankly Buick is not doing well
