I love how he is just completely unphased by one of the most overpowered moves in this game. I mean megaflare normally wipes out armies of unversed at a time while MF simply jumps through it.
Its suppose to cover the entire arena yet he gets Iframes for it, even if bosses dont take as much damage from it the fact he just can Iframe it by jumping baffles me to this day.
That the biggest issue with commands in this game, they're great for regular enemies but 99% of them are obsolete against bosses. Compare what commands the devs intended to be the OP ones vs what ones actually are. The sheer difference and disconnect is insane.

I think it was designed around mine square/seeker mines, and all the mine attacks; when i tried mines against him he easily hopped over all of them (even if some of the seeker mines looked like they made contact, they still did no damage); i think they then applied that animation to all the other things they wanted him to be immune to

Arexion5293 this sums up the game so well; it encourages u to meld attacks into crazier, more powerful, longer attacks (like megaflare or ars solum) then it actively punishes u for using those commands u spent so long building (no i-frames on ars solum, bosses don't stagger, take no damage from megaflare). it's like they had different people working on the command deck and the boss design, and both of those people skipped all the weekly meetings and never talked to each other
@@purelizardmilk6598 Bosses have a damage cap for each individual attack for magic. I believe the limit for MF is 25 damage per magic attack. Aqua's bosses are the only ones that don't have this cap IIRC. Basically the game wants you to use magic as a spacing tool more than a primary means of attack.

Terra is one of the many tanks in RPGs that struggle with boss fights, player VS player, and even turn based game play. Each one of them they have moves that they have to use that don't do any damage or too little to mater against bosses that can heal, out match their damage output, or even are simply too fast to hit. A like will go to a attack bonus for every boss fight characters like Terra so they can fight their foe without knowing that a majority of their attacks won't lead to the boss healing themselves without punishment, a unhittable attack, or even straight up interruption of important attacks.
Mysterious Figure is basically that 13 year old kid playing CoD with cheats. Also 2:51 is a cheap action movie where he jumps off a massive explosion unscathed.
In the psp version US version, the energy chain spear he uses to grab you. You can’t escape it. It was fixed in the Final mix psp version & 2.5 HD remix PS3/PS4 versions.
Whose big idea was it to make a boss that jams your lock-on and starts spamming his ultimate attacks if you enter the fight above level 60? Or had more than three Cures equipped, or if you use a D-Link? If he uses that Doom effect three times in a row, there's no way to survive. It's possible to be too strong to beat this boss.
To think that Xehanort was THIS powerful in his youth. & he’s not even using his Keyblade. Just imagine if he was a guardian of light. There would’ve never been another keyblade war for centuries.
He had this "Doom" web move that when caught, will reduce a bit of your HP and started a counting down to zero. In this video, Terra got caught by that web while his HP is 1. So, he was already dead.
This is the only boss I want them to kill in a cutscene in KH3. The rest will be fun to fight one last time but if I have to deal with being killed by him one more time I'll.....probably grind to be overleveled and then have a small chance of victory.

Bosses take a maximum of 25 damage per hit if I'm not mistaken. So megaflare does absurd damage to normal enemies but virtually nothing to any boss.

Honestly as difficult as it is, this boss is probably my go to an awesome battle. In a weird way it's kinda cool to be shown what's up from a boss lol

This is the only boss I want them to kill in a cutscene in KH3. The rest will be fun to fight one last time but if I have to deal with being killed by him one more time I'll.....probably grind to be overleveled and then have a small chance of victory.
