- The human microbiota is the term given to the collection of bacteria, viruses, fungi and other single-celled organisms that live in the body. Gut microbiota (also known as gut flora) is found specifically in the gastrointestinal tract.

I did a Capstone paper on Fecal Microbiota Transplants....it was a very interesting subject... think you would cover that? FMT transplants have shown promise in reversing C. diff, and some other forms of IBS....

Sir , Actually Doctor here in my Country are not so co-operative & friendly ! They Don't explain the causes or discuss about the problem😭 & just write ✍️ medicine & force us to leave soon their chamber! Hi Melissa great suggestion and indeed I had something in the works for dysbiosis but can incorporate post-surgical and antibiotics into the mix

Hello!last year i was prescribed antibiotic treatment which i think killed all the good bacteria .. tavanic is the name of the antibiotic drug ..after that i had diarrhea for some time ..and now i have ibs ..i tried probiotics for a couple of months..dont know how to fix the microbioma..
It's not uncommon for antibiotics to cause an imbalance in our gut microbiota. That can be associated with diarrhoea. Sometimes antibiotic use can even lead to an infection of the colon from a bacteria called Clostridium Difficile. Restoration of the gut microbiota can take quite some time and it may take more than a couple of months of probiotics and/or prebiotics. I'd recommend seeing your local doctor for further guidance on this.

Can stomach ulcers and dysbiosis be a cause from severe bulimia?
I am recovered now, but I suffered from severe bulimia in my youth abd i experienced terrible painful stomach ulcers, dysbiosis and other horrible symptoms.
I have had 2 Microba faecal tests, (severe unknow gut issues) both tests indicate extremely low (unmeasurable) levels of Lactobacilli and Bifido bacterium. Do I need these two, and how can I recolonize my gut as I am allergic and reactive to both probiotics and fermented foods of any type, also total dairy intolerance and fructose intolerance

@@silviofontana5144 how about looking into a fecal transplant lab, they take a person with a healthy gut biomes poo and get it ready to use for people who suffer from unhealthy biome and have high success rates, look into it if you haven't yet
