I appreciate your videos. I do not have celiac but have ibs and other autoimmune disorders. Now, for many months, I pass undigested food along with liquid stool and lost 20 lbs. I’m going to be tested for an enzyme. It’s so uncomfortable and I hope I get more answers.

Normally I'm a great fan of these videos because they break topics down into simple easy-to-understand videos. But this just went completely over my head, for those who aren't molecular biologists I wish it had been dumbed down a little more.

thank you for bringing this very under diagnosed, but very common, autoimmune disease. it really does take a toll on quality of life no matter how you stitch it. you go strict gluten free and are extra cautious about cross contamination, so your food options are extremely limited. or, you continue to eat whatever you want, but suffer horrible symptoms and chronic malabsorption. all around inconvenient, and sometimes miserable disease. no medicinal cure, but there are clinical trials underway. i hope i live to see it.

Hello Dr. Uncle, I am frm Sri Lanka . I am 19 years old. I have been suffering from IBS for a long time. Although I channeled several doctors but, most of them gave medicine to control it. One doctor advised me to take a hyoscine butylbromide tablet when needed. These days my IBS feels a bit worse again. (A school exam is going to be held soon and I am suffering from a little mental stress in connection with that) When I feel my IBS pain a bit too much, I take a hyoscine butylbromide tablet. I want to know from you, is it okay to take that tablet when needed?
    Thanks 🙏

fascinating ! this is the most informative and illustrated explanation of coeliac disease , thank you dr for the huge hard work it's not easy at all to make such video and to give such explanation .
but I still have a question by knowing the mechanism of the disease I'm feeling that everything that has prolamin protein is not destinated for human being because it can lead to coeliac disease is my hypothesis right??!
and also why in people who don't have the disease the zonulin is secreted temporary ? why gluten that passes at that time of dispersion doesn't cause an immune response?
