I was watching for fun before because I find the marketing/buisness side of things intresting but you've really inspired me to try and build something for myself so thank you Devin.
As a business major, I love that you bring this stuff out of abstracts or huge mega-corps and into the creator world. Also, the advice on zero days is awesome
Long term watcher gang unite!! As someone who struggles as a zero-day-er, this was incredibly helpful to hear from someone else. Thank you for sharing the 80/20 exercises also. Being given concrete questions to ask myself and an action plan as a baseline that I can tweak for my situation is invaluable. So thank you thank you thank you!
I for sure feel with the zero days. If I just start editing a video for any of my projects, my mental state tends to skyrocket, and if I dont do this, it goes down a lot.
Hey Devin, long time lurker here. This video is a great culmination of some of the older content you used to make, and I really enjoyed it. I even have some of the old videos downloaded as mp3's on my phone so I can listen to them in the car (this one is definitely getting added to that list). The question that resonated with me the most is when you talked about the 20% of things that cause 80% of someone's stress. Couldn't be more true for me. Thanks for articulating these simple, yet impactful, ideas into actionable steps.
I never feel as if watching to the end of Devin's videos is difficult. It may be too easy in fact! I would love if Devin was able to make longer even more in depth videos.
The issue with such a detailed, dense, comprehensive distillation of this knowledge is it's hard to unpack and implement all at once. Like you said this is something you've come to know over years of self development. I feel like I'll need to come back to this video a few times to really be able to grasp it all. Thanks for the video Devin, keep it up!
I've surrounded myself with a lot of millionaires, and I can confirm they all generally think like this. Some of them stopped these practices once they became super successful and just decided to relax, and let their passive income work. But all the success I've gotten in my life has mostly been from some of these practices. Valuing your time with your hourly income is a great way to decide what's worth doing. But it also teaches you how to manage money. All the people in my life that aren't successful struggle at this the most. When I try to help them with it, it's very difficult for them to grasp.
Brother, your videos are always amazing and have shifted the way I think about content creation, streaming, and LIFE!!! Keep doing what you are doing: HELPING people!! More than grateful for the education you provide!
Hey, I hope you read this, in regards to the question "If I accomplish one thing to feel the day is completed, what is that one thing?" Watching this video helped me to identify that I basically flop between "I am totally okay with zero days," and "there is no amount of work I can do today to feel accomplished in completing my day." Some time ago I adopted a similar "one thing" mindset - but this actually made me feel much worse in many ways; once the number was countable (not 0, not infinity) there was no way for me to feel like any amount of work was enough. I don't know what to add to finish this thought, I guess I'd just like to hear you talk more about this subject.
Definitely agree with the catastrophic risks. A lot of people don't realize with good planning you can make something seemingly impossible very doable. This is especially true when you are younger and have a fallback plan with family. I'm now 29 but three years ago I spent a couple thousand dollars and a week traveling from my home in Miami to Austin meeting potential employers in person and finding a home. After that week of planning ahead I loaded up my life in a U-Haul and drove from South Florida to Texas. I'm now making more then double what I was and have a lower cost of living.
I am posting the 80/20s on my wall. "If I accomplish one thing to feel the day is completed, what is that one thing?" is something everyone should ask themselves on the daily! the number of days I start with a to-do list and I somehow get to late at night with none of them done because I am overwhlemed...

Also, thanks for this video, Devin! (plus all those other videos about success, really loving them!) Two months ago I started cutting down forcefully on social media, gaming, and other time drains, partly due to you and other speakers. :) I'm already seeing way more productivity. This exercise will definitely help me keep a good focus on what to do next, as I've started to feel "I got time, so now what?" more than usual. I hope to return to this video in 5 years (or should I say, 5 months..?) and finally have the company I've been dreaming of for years!
What I'm really liking about the 20/80 thing and many of the others too is that yea asking yourself them once would greatly improve stuff. But as you keep doing it you can start seeing patterns of what might be an underlying problem rather than surface level
loved this video Devin, the list of questions in the video was exactly what I have been looking for but I didn't know how to ask/where to find it. thank you so much! infinitely grateful 🙌🏾
I would love to see more videos like that. I saved your list of 80/20 questions you talked about on stream ages ago, which helped me a lot. I'll try to implement those questions in the list
this is the second video I've seen come out from channels that i'm subscribed to talking about millionaire's mindsets or things successful people ask themselves. I want to learn more its very helpful!
7 & 8 can be summed up by simply remembering that Time is a more valuable asset to the wealthy, than Money. Great video Devin: really enjoy your channel.
Always finish your videos, used to tune into your streams when I was working nights. I have an incredible amount of time for what you have to say Devin, you're always achieving that goal of providing value. Nice to see your video output is picking up.
I work for a small marketing company and these more throughput and marketing focused videos have been helping me to rebuild the processes that drive our business. These are immensely helpful and I really appreciate the content Devin! Always learning when I'm here. Can't wait to start to improve my though process with what you brought forward in this video
Really love how these questions relate directly to business and in my case, content creation. Will definitely be thinking differently about how to maximise the value from what I’m doing with my time. Keep up the great work Devin 👌🏻
I have asked myself similar questions like: "What is actually holding me back from taking action right now?" and most of the time the answer has something to do with me getting in my own way. More videos like this would be appreciated so keep them coming!
I am in the long term watcher gang.. and these videos help me enormously. I really appreciate the content you put out especially related to this, because you are such a relatable and accessible person - although I've never tried I always figured if I really needed to ask you something or talk to you that I can and could easily and as a lurker that's a really cool mental factor that makes the advice and knowledge you share to become more real and attainable for my mind and thinking to comprehend/use. Never commented before haha, never been more than a lurker but this video is what I needed. Wanted to mention as well I have a group of friends that I share these videos with that are all personal development geeks from highschool that kept in contact with eachother... Your content is loved and shared by so many people I am absolutely sure that are just like me - never commented or reached out in any way - but absolutely love adore and share physically like a hand written note a lot of the success and PD style content you make. I know this comment extra stupid fckn long but I figured as a man who knows the secrets of lurking I should share for once as much as possible hope it helps for any reference!!!
If anyone wants to read up about the 80/20 thingy that Devin mentions so much, it's called Pareto's Rule, I've learned about it at university studying business and it's a great thing to keep in mind even in your regular life.
Love it man. You are the best at laying out well thought out and organized thoughts in a way that’s very easy to understand and follow along. Been watching for a while but this video hits all the right notes for me and where I am in my life
When you brought up Tim, I thought the question would be "What would this look like if it were easy?" But that was a good one too. Please, more of this stuff, Devin. Nourishes my soul.
Here to the end! I love your long-form stuff. Cue it in the background and learn while I work. Also, big fan of the notepad lecture notes. Very helpful as a learner.
Hey Devin, I just wanted to let you know I love the videos you've been putting out lately. Every day that I'm in the gym and there's a new video from you, I queue it up and watch it during my cardio at the end. I love the NashPad and hope you continue doing these videos. Solid content. You're one of those people that I "just listen to" no matter what. If you're interested in a topic/subject, I click just to hear your take. Keep up the good work!
Really great video, Devin! Quickly becoming one of my favourite channels on RUclips. We definitely need more of these self improvement style videos as well as your usual livestream based content! Keep up the great work!
Really powerful Devin. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I can see your increased effort the past couple months in the content you are putting here on RUclips. Thank you for everything you are doing for your community you have on twitch and RUclips.
I watch every single one of your videos until then end. I gain so much incite on so many different topics. It helps me reset my mind and push for the future I want.
Looking back, I developed content for over 12 years. Some of the content I made I removed as they were more like personal blogs from me in middle school and high school. The content that I made that got the most views was a Halo 3 montage from 12 years ago, a funny minecraft video that I edited from a past stream from a year ago, and a instructional video about allocating ram to a Java based program that went more in depth than other creators. I think if I reflected more on the videos I could do better. I should be asking myself these questions too.
Love it devin! Btw, I would also suggest an addition. "how can I simplify my lifestyle?" When you think about it, you have a passion, but what If you could live comfortably in a small space like Elon musk which lives in a container, what if you can use cheaper brands that works just as good. Do you really need a mansion? Do you really need all the Luxuries? Asmond is a great example here, he still uses a shitty old car, even tho he probably can buy a new up-to-date one. He still lives in the same old junk of a house, he could have bought a new one.
I always really enjoy videos where a different way of thinking is offered and explained. Anything that I haven't heard is something I could learn. Please keep these coming
Definite long term watcher gang. I watch all your videos. Even though I'm totally burned out on the Marketing industry, I still find insight in your vids. Solid, actionable stuff, too. Keep up the good work, man!
I like how I started out watching these videos because I wanted to better myself as a content creator, and now I watch just because I am genuinely interested in the behind the scenes of business and marketing. Thanks for the killer videos mate always makes my day when one comes out!
Devin I'm actually not planning on streaming. But I'm huge on self-improvement. Generally I have to 'convert' Stream advice into stuff I can work on. This is actually speaking directly to me. Solid stuff. Also, yes, #LongTermWatcherGang
I think this is a really important video that you've put out. I also think this might be the time that i've felt that we are most in sync with the ideas you've put forth. Questioning yourself, your plan, and your status quo, are the most powerful ways to stop blocking yourself & holding yourself back.
I *absolutely LOVE* this kind of video and your videos that are not targeted at content creators are definitely my favourite! I like the ones where we get those crazy valuable Devin Nash business insights, such as the one about the future of streaming, the Jake Paul one and the OF video.
Love your content devin. Please continue to educate us on anything you deem important. I havent seen a single video of yours that hasnt been informative to some degree.
I absolutely love this video, great stuff! I'm confused every time when you ask if people are still watching, I can't believe people leave before you finish what you have to say. I legitimately learn something from each of your videos, keep up the good work!
'If one person watches it and gets something out of this, then this will be a successful video', I can for sure tell you that this is a successful video. I really needed to hear some things you mentioned, the 0 days, the questions, I really appreciate it. I actually decided to write down these questions and take some time to answer them today, thank you, would love more videos like this. watched through it all and will probably come back to rewatch it when I'm feeling down.
I came from the Spotify side to tell you I listened to this twice and REALLY appreciate you putting your talks back on Spotify. I always want to listen to your content but it’s hard when I’m on the road can can’t control yt like I can with Spotify in the car. Also this video in particular was what I need to kick start me being more productive. Hope to see more vids like this!
I set my "one thing" when I was working full time at a restaurant, it wasn't very specific, but I told myself everyday I would do one thing that brought me closer to my goal of full time content creation. I think there were both pro's and con's with not giving it a very specific 'thing' in mind, one of the pro's being that sometimes I'd just have a really rough day at work, and when I came home I didn't want to do anything. But I told my self at the bare minimum, I could do at least ONE thing to help myself make some sort of progress, whether that was making a thumbnail, or editing a video, or even just planning a few tweets. I think the reason I set this, is because I realized that many people, including myself at the time, have zero days, very often. So by doing the bare minimum, it made me realize I'm still being more productive than most people. Just doing 1 thing a day, has gotten me out of the restaurant industry, and this week I moved across the country to Washington :) With all this being said, I feel I often listen to these sorts of tips, but I rarely ever actually sit down and apply them. I'm going to take some time to do that today, thanks Devin!
Long term watcher here. I'm getting ready to start a career as a financial advisor with New York Life. Definitely going to adopt these questions into my general flow. Especially the 80/20
"If I accomplish one thing to feel the day is completed, what is that one thing?" I'm currently in a rut of non-productivity, but the day still starts of fine if I had a good sleep and can have an apple and a protein shake for the start into the day. Sometime in the past it was to do at least a small thing for my game project, either in Unity or Visual Studio. I hope I can get back to that. + Great content Devin!
Hey man, long term watcher gang here, I just recently watched a bunch of your older self-help videos on this channel. Really love this content, thanks for your time and effort. I like the New Media videos to watch out interest, but these videos are super core to what I want to be learning for my career. Thanks and cheers
Watched it all and commented per the call to action. I find these talks super interesting! Do you have these questions posted somewhere to copy down? I think I want to take some time this weekend and do this.
Great video, opened my mind to quite a few things. I love the idea of being in a place where you have no distractions and you can work on your plan. Great video, probably going to watch it again
Watched all of it. Always love devin video feeding us all the knowledge that takes years to understand from book or experience. Gotta take notes for this. Thumbsup
back for another full video viewer comment. Great strategy for driving engagement btw lol. As recent CS grad your videos have been a great inspiration for me to pursue side projects. And to continue them even once I eventually find a full time job. There's no reason why I shouldn't be looking to create as many websites and apps as I have time for. Development is great because once I build it it will continue to be usable for as long as I pay server costs. Your videos helped me realize that this can be an avenue for me to pursue. I love your videos keep it up
Not usually a fan of videos like this based off of the title, but the content here was genuinely helpful, especially the question of "what can I do that would make today complete." I have a lot of days where I feel awful for not doing anything. Side note: I don't think I've ever heard someone say "percent" so many times in under 30 minutes
I watch alll of your videos 100% through because the amount of value continues ALL the way through.. not just in the first few minutes! keep it up man and thank you for the vidoes!
Great video Devin Nash, Watching the whole peace of content shows how detailed you can go into information you are explaining and giving to your audience. Most interesting content currently on the platform for self developement and business in the same place. Looking forward to the upcoming content you put out on the channel.
Fantastic encapsulation of a lot of actionable wisdom. I'd love to see more videos like this because the info can really help me get more out of what I'm already successful doing. There's no substitute for asking oneself the right questions.
I listen to every video until the single last thing you say Devin. I have youtube Premium and download all the videos to listen to when i'm grocery shopping, going to work, to exercise etc. This was definetely a helpful segment and i'm looking forward integrating some of the things you talked about in my daily life!

Two months ago I started cutting down forcefully on social media, gaming, and other time drains, partly due to you and other speakers.
Definitely more of these videos Please. Watched the whole thing. Thank you so much, Devin!
Thank you very much Devin, amazing video. A ton of value in a 25 minute video.
The "Not to do list" concept, simply amazing never thought of it :O
this is the second video I've seen come out from channels that i'm subscribed to talking about millionaire's mindsets or things successful people ask themselves. I want to learn more its very helpful!
Watch all your videos. Love you Devin
21:20
I watch every video you post start to finish. Everything you teach/share is always easy for me to understand and focus on and overall enjoy.
Keep it up Devin, I watch nearly all of your videos all the way through. Better and more passionately delivered than anything I learned at college
Please do more stuff like this! I really appreciate your insights and the things you've made the effort to refine over time
I have asked myself similar questions like: "What is actually holding me back from taking action right now?" and most of the time the answer has something to do with me getting in my own way.
More videos like this would be appreciated so keep them coming!
Please do more of this I absolutely love the amount of value these provide
I am in the long term watcher gang.. and these videos help me enormously.
I really appreciate the content you put out especially related to this, because you are such a relatable and accessible person - although I've never tried I always figured if I really needed to ask you something or talk to you that I can and could easily
and as a lurker that's a really cool mental factor that makes the advice and knowledge you share to become more real and attainable for my mind and thinking to comprehend/use.
I love this kind of videos, especially super focused one like yours. Thanks for making it!
That exercise at the end is really cool :)
Liked and commenting because I love this content from you Devin. Excellent, fantastic, high-value work! Keep it up!
Great vid Devin! There was a lot of concepts you discussed that just helped a lot of things of I thinking about click immediately.
Really powerful Devin. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I can see your increased effort the past couple months in the content you are putting here on RUclips. Thank you for everything you are doing for your community you have on twitch and RUclips.
Great video. Lots of thought provoking questions. Especially like the idea of including a "Not To Do" list aswell.
Amazing! Think that's about the most value anyone could deliver in a 25 minutes video! Thanks and please keep the videos coming
Just started watching your channel, so far it's been very enlightening and helpful... thanks.
Loved this one. You have a talent for explaining things in a way that makes progress in life seem possible. Thanks for putting this out!
As always, amazing advice and information! Going to write these questions in my notepad and journal right now.
One of my favourite videos of yours is right here. Thanks for this. Extremely good value and something I needed big time.
I think this is a really important video that you've put out. I also think this might be the time that i've felt that we are most in sync with the ideas you've put forth. Questioning yourself, your plan, and your status quo, are the most powerful ways to stop blocking yourself & holding yourself back.
Love this kind of videos, those remember me your first videos, and I love them, they can help me and a lot of people too. Thanks Devin❤️
I love the realistic and practical advice. Keep videos like this coming!
Just doing 1 thing a day, has gotten me out of the restaurant industry, and this week I moved across the country to Washington :)
With all this being said, I feel I often listen to these sorts of tips, but I rarely ever actually sit down and apply them. I'm going to take some time to do that today, thanks Devin!
LOVED THIS, this is my 3rd time rewatching this to let it sink in :)
Love ur content man You’ve found ur niche just keep pushing pushing pushing it
Long term watcher here. I'm getting ready to start a career as a financial advisor with New York Life. Definitely going to adopt these questions into my general flow. Especially the 80/20
"If I accomplish one thing to feel the day is completed, what is that one thing?"
I'm currently in a rut of non-productivity, but the day still starts of fine if I had a good sleep and can have an apple and a protein shake for the start into the day. Sometime in the past it was to do at least a small thing for my game project, either in Unity or Visual Studio. I hope I can get back to that. +
Great content Devin!
Love the business development / mindset content you put out
Hey man, long term watcher gang here,
I just recently watched a bunch of your older self-help videos on this channel. Really love this content, thanks for your time and effort.
I like the New Media videos to watch out interest, but these videos are super core to what I want to be learning for my career.
Thanks and cheers
I watch all your videos 100% through man. Keep it up!
Really great video, gonna rewatch it to write everything down and really soak it all in. Appreciate it!
I always watch your YT content start to finish. Thanks for what you do!
Watched it all and commented per the call to action. I find these talks super interesting! Do you have these questions posted somewhere to copy down? I think I want to take some time this weekend and do this.
These kind of talks are really good. Thanks Devin.
These are great questions and this is great content. Your latest videos in the past week or so have all been great. Thanks Devin!
Thumbsup
The one thing to feel the day is completed was to watch this video. Thank you for these questions and this mindset. Very helpful.
back for another full video viewer comment.
I love your videos keep it up
Always getting my brain flowing while I'm at work. Appreciate all of the advice and content you make!! Thank you Devin!
Devin, you are such an inspiration. This is a video I know I'll be coming back to.
These videos are amazing Devin, thanks for making them! Always a great part of the day listening to these talks.
Really enjoy these types of topics, would love to see more videos like this!
Great video Devin, love the recent content. I’ll be sure to share to those i think would benefit from these tips!
Very valuable content here from front to back. I would certainly appreciate more like this.
Fantastic encapsulation of a lot of actionable wisdom. I'd love to see more videos like this because the info can really help me get more out of what I'm already successful doing. There's no substitute for asking oneself the right questions.
you just keep knocking these out of the park. these are good questions that are definitely worth asking.
I listen to every video until the single last thing you say Devin. I have youtube Premium and download all the videos to listen to when i'm grocery shopping, going to work, to exercise etc. This was definetely a helpful segment and i'm looking forward integrating some of the things you talked about in my daily life!
Love your business content! So much nuggets. Appreciate it!
