Oh yes Brenton do it, this is great fun. My antennas are a bit too long and sharp. I wonder what my neighbours think when these antennas chase the satellites
Jeez, how did you get such empty space on the ISS repeater?!? When I get on the repeater there are hundreds of stations clamoring for just getting a call sign through. But then I'm in the footprint of Japan, which probably has the highest density of amateur radio operators anywhere in the world. Great video!
I need help . I can hear seats but can’t seem to transmit and hear myself . I’m using the egg beater ant. Not sure if I have my radio set up correctly with satpac software any help would be appreciated new to satellites. Thank you WD8BQS.
I have just recently bought my 9700. I note in the video AFC is indicated on your screen. When I try and utilise AFC pressing the AFC does not remain activated. Mmmmmm I must be doing something wrong.
SatPC32 for the doppler tracking and AFC (Automatic Frequency Control) because many stations don't use doppler tracking for FM Satellites and with the scope you can see where the stations are
Thanks Roland, you have me putting up the VHF UHF beams etc soon after hearing this, good inspiration to have some ISS fun..cheers Brenton VK3CM

Can someone with a technician license operate that radio as long as they know what frequency to stay on?
Yes.
