Here is the S.A.T. tracker by CSNTECHNOLOGIES.NET, with a more in-depth review. Works with the Icom 9700, 9100, 910, 820H and 821H, along with the Yaesu G5400, 5500 and 5600 rotators. Links are below.

I'm currently using S.A.T. and it is hands down, the most complete system for Tracking (ICOM Radio & Antenna) with a full Satellite list with automatic or on-demand updates; and that's not all, these folks have bundled this in an awesome User-Interface. If HAM's are tired of fidgeting with loose ends to make a decent Satellite contact, S.A.T. is the answer.
Thanks!
I have a few of these and can’t recommend them enough. They make working satellites easy. I use it with the 9700 and the G5500 rotor.
I was trying to use an old program to track and I seen this almost a year ago and man I am so happy with it. Its the best thing ever. And the customer support is out of this world. Any questions they reply with in hours if not minutes. Worth every penny. Great product.
This looks great! I have an IC-9700. It would be cool to have the option to talk to 2 different radios at the same time, such as 2 FT-817/818, or an 817 and 857. I use 2 FT-817 for "pedestrian sats". I know thats a different protocol than Icom, but there are a lot of these radios that could be put together for full duplex operations and open the market up to a bigger group of users. Really wild, would be an icom for downlink, Yaesu for down, or swapped.. so people with IC-705 and an almost FT series radio could work the sats. Just thought I would toss that out there as an idea..
Excellent review Eric. The S.A.T. is a great help in working the SATS ! You may never get it back when you lend to me.... Rick
Cool video there Eric!.
The features in this are phenomenal, easy access to the transponder frequencies, PL tones & being USB powered it wouldn't be too hard to take a rotator setup out ie POTA/SOTA and a sat pass contacts.
Wished they made a version for the IC-705 as well.
Wishing you & all your family a very merry Christmas, all the best for the festive season & a happy new year in 2023
What an awesome tool! Especially paired with a 9700, that would be alot of fun. Merry Christmas, Eric 73, KO4MEX
Eric, why do your videos cost me money? Now I need one of these.
I’ve just the other day put a order in for a 705 after saving for a while. If I had seen this device before I did that, I would have got the 9700 lol. I love doing satellite work. When I leave this earth, my wife will kill me again when she sees all the radio “stuff” that I’ve collected.
I wish someone would do a video on all the settings for the 9700. I can't get mine to work. The rotator control works great but nothing works correctly on the radio
Thanks for making the video. If anyone has any questions please let us know. We can also set up a zoom demo to answer any questions. Visit our youtube Channel we have several videos there.
Does the tracker work with ID-5100? We have the IC-9700 and love this device.
This device sounds awesome. I will need to see one the works with most radios and brands before I buy one. Not gonna buy a radio just to by this sat device
Unfortunately, Icom is the only one with a satellite radio in production right now
Good video, I own an ft 847 , trying to figure if this interface works on My rig, saludos, XE2GRC
Will it work with older rigs that are designed for satellite operations? I have a Kenwood TS-2000 designed for satellite operations. It has the IF-DSP, ten dedicated memory channels, Doppler effect frequency adjustment (manual) and the ability to choose either normal or reverse shift for the trace.
So far, just the Icom radios mentioned in the video...Maybe it's possible one day, who knows..
We just purchased a ts-2000 we are going to try to get it working with the S.A.T. tracker
@@csntechnologies2296 what about the amazing Yaesu FT-847 Earth Station? I know many folks still have and use those. It was designed specifically for satellites. Didn’t know if this device could be somehow connected to their if-232 for control. Great stuff you guys are putting out!
@@baldguyadventure not yet we are working on other radios. Icom is the only company with a satellite radio currently in production
I was half convinced than I saw ic 7100! Can you confirm compatibility? 🤩
The icom 7100 is only half duplex. it will control it but its not a satellite radio.
Shame it only supports Icom. Theres plenty of other all-mode full-duplex satellite radios in use all around the world such as my excellent Kenwood TS-790...
damit. My 7300 was supposed the last big investment for a long while. Damn you! 73 and a happy new year! A now poorer SM3YBS
