I got a question for yah. I got a satellite dish mounted on a mast pole . Is there a specific geo synchronous amateur radio station on any satellite over the USA that I can communicate with 24/7 to point it too?

Hi, got the same problem with the Leo Bodnar injection board. Got it 3 years ago but was sitting on a shelf waiting better days or the will to do it. Today came that day and installed it in the IC-9700. 1st found the 2 supplied "longer screws" were too short. Found 2 abt. 3mm longer and screwed the board in. Couldn't get a lock. After reopening the radio again found apart the inductor is too high, on a certain point the signal trace was making short to the case of the oscilator in the radio since being too low. At the end used your method, a bit of foam around and 2 washers bellow the screws. Now working perfectly. Hope I have found your video prior beginning to mess around since seems some version of the injection board have this design flaw... As per photos of the PCB on the Leo Bodnar website I see a different type of inductor on so maybe they changed later on. Have lost 4 hours to figure that out and fix. Would expect the designer would try installing the thing himself prior putting on sale. Don't think placing a PCB in a 2.000 Eur radio which makes a potential short circuit is great idea. Sorry for a bit of my ramble :) Anyhow now I have a frequency stable IC9700 :))) 73 Andrej - s57rw

Are you running digital or analog TV? I’ve got an RX down converter that brings the 5650 - 5850 band down to the 1000 - 1200 MHz or thereabouts band for reception using Stan satellite receiver, basically a 5 GHz LNB.

I am interested in joining. Bought my 9700 in May. And would like to start working satellites. N9PNZ

I have just recently bought my 9700. I note in the video AFC is indicated on your screen. When I try and utilise AFC pressing the AFC does not remain activated. Mmmmmm I must be doing something wrong.

Hi Roland I have the Yaesu G1000DXC and i have everything hooked up via Ham Radio deluxe, everything is working but the settings are wrong, I have my antenna setup to rotate 180° either side of north, would you happen to know how i would set the controller for this?
