    I've been doing this for 30 yrs. All you people pay close attention to what Andy is telling you here. There is no way you can put a dollar value on the information he's sharing with you. Remember this: once you've mastered all he's teaching you here, there is nothing that can hold you back from achieving greatness in the car business and reaching all your financial goals as well. In many of the dealerships I've worked in consulting and training over the last 30 yrs ladies are the # 1 salesperson!! All the best in your new career.       Tell me about it I’m on my second week and my training is so nerve racking but I talked to a customer yesterday and I made him laugh and all that my manager has been making it super hard on me so when I actually get on the floor it’ll seem a little easier

    Not only did Luke ace all of the word tracks and isolate the objectives but he was precise, direct, and made splendid eye contact. I am floored at the fact that he has only been in car sales for 1 month. From what I can tell, you have the strongest mentor in the game!

      10:10 - Say If Price is Higher than Competitors -> Yes, we are higher by Higher than our Competitors and the reason Why is, Because we're also Higher in all the other Critical areas that are Important to You and Your Family, such as: Quality, Effortlessness(Management of Staff) and Time. You see, business doesn't work that way, We can't be the Lowest in Price and Highest in Business. (* Optional Follow through) Hey, who likes the Cheapest? I Don't like Cheap Stuff, Do You?
      -No
      Me Neither! I like to do stuff once and be done with it. Cheap Stuff always ends up Costing more Money, cause you end up doing it Twice.
      13:13 - Objection: I want my Dad to Look at the Car, before I Buy it -> (* Don't let 3rd Parties (Outside People) late into the deal, because you can't choose what they'll think without them being there before *)

      @@iliopencovio9056 Weak, never agree or mention that your price is higher, in the grand scheme the sole goal is to build value, if you tell me that the price is higher, I am gonna go where it’s lower regardless of how good the place you sell is.
      Also never assume, your job as a salesperson may be confusing to you, perhaps you have bad management, bad trainers, or insufficient experience, however the case is, you want to never downplay something, or make something a negative.
      Here’s how to correctly handle that:
      Customer: Your price is higher than your competitors.
      Salesman: Now that you mention price, you did like the color right.
      Customer: Yes
      Salesman: And you did like the upgraded sound package, didn’t you?
      Customer: I loved it, but I really do want to know if you can get a better price.
      Salesman: Hey Bob, I totally understand, it sounds like you are like me and everyone else, it sounds like you are on a budget, right.
      Customer: Yea I am
      Salesperson: let me worry about that so you can get get all the shopping done, would you like a cup coffee while we are working up all the paperwork.
      Customer: Yes (Commits to finalizing the deal)

      I hear that. Just because someone isn't helping out financially doesn't mean they don't have their best interest at heart. The is a reason that person has been brought along and it usually revolves around trust.

    One thing I thing important, and I don’t work in sales but, it might be highly advantageous to ask the customer when they say they’re just looking…”What motivated you to just look around?” “Was it a particular car/truck you saw?” A specific commercial? A specific reason you were excited to just start looking around? Here you get into why the customer is there to begin with. Maybe it’s something they saw on tv, online, on the road, from a friend. Like you say, you’re helping people. Find out why they came in and attack that.

    "This is my first stop" and "I'm just looking" are not really objections. They're statements and best to just acknowledge what they say and proceed. Ex: I'm just looking: Great we have lots of vehicles to look at, have you had any prior contact with any other salespeople here at the dealership. "this is my first stop" Great I'm glad you decided to stop at our dealership first. Have you had any prior contact with any other salespeople at the dealership. Great job Luke, you're doing terrific!!

      I would just add and "either or" interrogative. (Regarding to lot shoppers) "I'm just looking" -- Great! blah blah plenty of vehicles, spoken to specific sales man? If no, Introduce and say "my job is to find you the right vehicle, at an acceptable budget in a timely manner--- Go ahead and follow me and lets find you a vehicle you're going to love!"

    Excellent video these are very tough objections but can be easily overcome with Knowledge experience repetition confidence & Being able to read people.
    The training platform role-playing practice is paramount and I feel more confident going into my interview having an understanding of what I I’m going to be walking into.

    I will start selling Chevys 7/18/22 In Tarpon Springs FL. I'm really glad I found Andy's channel. Finally ,a true ,honest, down to earth car lover and amazing businessman who happens to be a nice guy and want to share his skills. I'd do the same, but man this means a lot to me.     Not in the car business, but been in sales leader ship and people always hate role-play until they’re in front of a customer and the instinct it creates kicks in and they can handle any situation without even having to consciously think about it because they’ve practiced. Yeah it’s awkward, it makes you uncomfortable. But if you do it enough, it becomes comfortable and that’s when you know when you’re in front of a customer when the pressure is on, you will perform.

      Most sales people i have encountered will blow thru any objection I have given... but once in a while they cant do it and you can smell the weakness

    I've been in the sales game for 1 mo. Sold TWO cars yesterday, with the main objection being "Price too high". Used the our prices are a little higher word track - - he's coming back today to pick up his Prius Prime XLE. Working all the objections! :)

    Over coming objections is definitely what I’m struggling with the most. Luke was fantastic and I’m definitely going to use his tactics and play it over and over on the way to work.

    First person or 3rd party stories are powerful. You could definitely pull from a story from your own life or tell a story from someone else in your life about the first time your dad was proud of you for taking initiative and doing something for yourself. That means he values his opinion and that would be a dominant buying motive for him if he could purchase the vehicle by himself and earn his father’s respect. You have to make people emotional!

    How I answer the “I’m just looking” one is: Fantastic! Lucky for you we have a lot of variety of cars on the lot, would you be opposed to walking around with and we can look at a few cars until you find one you really love?
    When they say yes to that I begin my questions of: what kind of vehicle do you drive now? Do you like smaller vehicles maybe something bigger? Economy friendly? What is the longest you have ever owned a vehicle? Typically when you purchase a car, what features do you like it to have? While we walk around together, would it be ok if I got an estimate on your trade in value? You’re not obligated to anything it’s just information for you to have in your back pocket, that way if we find a car you really love and want more information on it, you’ll have that trade in value info ready to go.

    If you want to overcome high-pressure sales, people do your research before you go to the dealership decide on a price that makes sense for you. If the car meets your needs offer them the price tell them yes or no don’t answer questions like how much monthly payment do you want and whatever you do if you don’t have to never trade your car, they will give you 4-$6000 less than you can get on your own On average.. I buy cars for living and make it easy on the sales people. I don’t even go to the dealership I tell them via text or email. This is my price. If yes, send me the paperwork will start the process.

    If you can't overcome someone who still insists they have to go home and think about it or show the vehicle to someone else you might want to offer them to take the vehicle overnight. When you do that you're going to get another opportunity to sell them again because they have to bring the vehicle back. And by the way if they're for real, they will take it overnight. Great job Andy and Luke, really good stuff!!

    I am 50 years old, been in sales for most of my adult life. Getting ready to start selling cars for the first time ever, and could use any advice I can get. I consider myself to be really good at just about everything I do, but this is new to me, and I just want to really do whatever it takesto succeed, so my wife doesn't have to work so hard anymore, and she can spend more time with our daughter.
