After having seen your videos, studied and practiced them I passed my interview straight away. Now in 2023 I came to your videos again mainly this one. This is going to be a long comment so sorry in advance but I just need everyone to know how amazing this video is ☺ I am someone who has always struggled with job interviews. I got so incredibly nervous, freeze up, forget what to say but after discovering this channel it has changed all that. Once I knew I had a job interview coming up, I watched this mock interview on REPEAT on the days leading up to it, it helped me structure my answers properly and clearly and really helped with how I deliver my answers. I woke up on the day of my interview calm, confident and READY to walk in there and DO IT. I was told a few days ago that I GOT THE JOB 💪If you're someone who has had repeated "Nos" after interviews I know how horrible that feeling is and it can be the hardest thing ever to pick yourself up and try again. YOU CAN DO IT. Just commiting time into practising/preparing when you get the "Yes" it's the best feeling ever. Watch as much of this channel as you can and it will work, I promise! 😃

I have some questions: 1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate). 2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role 3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies 4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years* *Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*

There are so many career coaches and so much advice floating around that I just end up giving a hot mess of an interview. Besides, I've noticed that Americans tend to give the advice of making your answers very specific, and giving loads of proof as stories. I've tried doing that and giving so much information just makes me sound scattered and its harder to convince the interviewer. Richards answers are very well articulated and concise, he just hits the nail on the head! I like his content so much because even if you don't have great accomplishments or stories, you can always use his brilliant answers to convince the employer.
I'm lost for words. I've never seen interview questions answered so well. These are pretty much everything a company will truly asked. I've been asked majority of these questions and I'm pretty sure I didn't answer them as well as he did, but I know one thing for sure now that I will be a lot more stronger on all my interviews moving forward. Hi everyone , Yesterday as i was preparing for my interview which took place today at 11:00am , i came across this video , i watched it , took notes , modified my answers , i spend 2 hours yesterday ( play, pause, rewind and fast forward) , i woke up this morning and i prepared for an hour then i drove to the venue , all the questions that were asked there were the questions that are here and for the 1st time i was calm and collected , my dress code was perfect . i can proudly say i did well today even though i do not know the outcomes yet but i am confident. This is theatre, not the actual job. Plenty of jobs require actual skill, not just the ability to socially manipulate. If anything, confidence usually negatively correlates with competence.

I recently decided to change paths and pursue a career when the lockdown was instigated. I studied for months, achieved everything I needed to, and started having my first formal Interviews. I failed 7 of them... with a little progress each time but it wasn't until I found this video that I have officially secured a job! Thank you very much. Richard thank you for your insight and videos. I just received job offer and will be starting in a few weeks. They interviewed 7 people for the position and I ended up getting it despite being the youngest and least experienced (I saw all of the other candidates while waiting). Selling myself in a confident and humble manner mattered more than being experienced.
Honestly, can't believe I became one of those commentators, but here we are. This f ing channel is the reason I passed my interview yesterday. It radically changed how I approach interview prep, and I ONLY subscribed to it today - after my interview. Because I'll be watching this guy's videos every time I decide to switch jobs in the future. There's so much stuff from this channel that I legit just stuck into my interview script last minute, and it was still super helpful in getting the job. To anyone who's having virtual interviews any time soon - practice them with yourself and record yourself. I started doing it the night before the interview and was surprised to see that I completely lost any anxiety. So I tried it again in the morning - and boom, the anxiety COMPLETELY went away. I spent the whole time before the interview just talking to myself on camera and it made me feel confident like never before.
RIchard McMunn, youre the man! I have always been pretty good at interviewing, but I relied heavily on great rapport building and charisma. Your channel helped fill in the gaps that I was lacking. For example, you really helped me knock my 30-60-90 day plan out of the park, and polish my answers to questions like "what are my greatest weaknesses?" Your videos literally walked successfully through a 5- interview hiring process and I am now an Account Manager for a medical device company that I've had my eyes on for while now! So THANKS!!!

Hi Richard, I just want to tell you that you are the best and your lesson has just got me a upper edge and an impressive performance in my just concluded interview. I had an interview today and I got to watch about 10videos here overnight and I went for the interview this morning. To cut it short, After the first question, the second question the hiring manager asked, he just said to me, "You seem to know how to answer interview questions, you must have been attending trainings and teachings on interviews" and he had to switch to practical questions which I answered all. THANK YOU RICHARD! Thanks to your tips, templates of speaking and reacting to hard questions and your infectious energy I managed to switch industries from food production to accountancy industry with no prior experience. The twist is I was informed day prior to the interview that I will have to talk in my native language ( which I only use to speak to my family for many years now ) instead of english. So I translated my answers, went to the thing and landed the job! They even loved me speaking about my weaknesses which includes social anxiety. I went to your site too, really good content! So thank you again! To all who are got an interview ahead- PRACTICE PRACTICE and then PRACTICE more. Watch Richard's videos, personalise your answers, list sticking points to each question so you remember most important things and learn to answer them in different order. Better yet, visualise the thing going smoothly over and over again so you can condition your mind to calm down, sit in a chair dressed in a suit and train that way to simulate the interview. That helped me great deal, even though there was a point I wanted to run away I had a mental safety net of polished answers and hours of conditioning. Good luck all!

After having seen your videos, studied and practiced them I passed my interview straight away. Now in 2023 I came to your videos again mainly this one. This is going to be a long comment so sorry in advance but I just need everyone to know how amazing this video is ☺ I am someone who has always struggled with job interviews. I got so incredibly nervous, freeze up, forget what to say but after discovering this channel it has changed all that. Once I knew I had a job interview coming up, I watched this mock interview on REPEAT on the days leading up to it, it helped me structure my answers properly and clearly and really helped with how I deliver my answers. I woke up on the day of my interview calm, confident and READY to walk in there and DO IT. I was told a few days ago that I GOT THE JOB 💪If you're someone who has had repeated "Nos" after interviews I know how horrible that feeling is and it can be the hardest thing ever to pick yourself up and try again. YOU CAN DO IT. Just commiting time into practising/preparing when you get the "Yes" it's the best feeling ever. Watch as much of this channel as you can and it will work, I promise! 😃

I have some questions:
1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate).
2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role
3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies
4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years*
*Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*

If people are not hiring you, there is something wrong with your interview strategy. Look at yourself and analyse how THEY see you. Make changes and try again

There are so many career coaches and so much advice floating around that I just end up giving a hot mess of an interview. Besides, I've noticed that Americans tend to give the advice of making your answers very specific, and giving loads of proof as stories. I've tried doing that and giving so much information just makes me sound scattered and its harder to convince the interviewer. Richards answers are very well articulated and concise, he just hits the nail on the head! I like his content so much because even if you don't have great accomplishments or stories, you can always use his brilliant answers to convince the employer.

I'm lost for words. I've never seen interview questions answered so well. These are pretty much everything a company will truly asked. I've been asked majority of these questions and I'm pretty sure I didn't answer them as well as he did, but I know one thing for sure now that I will be a lot more stronger on all my interviews moving forward. Hi everyone , Yesterday as i was preparing for my interview which took place today at 11:00am , i came across this video , i watched it , took notes , modified my answers , i spend 2 hours yesterday ( play, pause, rewind and fast forward) , i woke up this morning and i prepared for an hour then i drove to the venue , all the questions that were asked there were the questions that are here and for the 1st time i was calm and collected , my dress code was perfect . i can proudly say i did well today even though i do not know the outcomes yet but i am confident. This is theatre, not the actual job. Plenty of jobs require actual skill, not just the ability to socially manipulate. If anything, confidence usually negatively correlates with competence.

I recently decided to change paths and pursue a career when the lockdown was instigated. I studied for months, achieved everything I needed to, and started having my first formal Interviews. I failed 7 of them... with a little progress each time but it wasn't until I found this video that I have officially secured a job! Thank you very much. Honestly, can't believe I became one of those commentators, but here we are. This f ing channel is the reason I passed my interview yesterday. It radically changed how I approach interview prep, and I ONLY subscribed to it today - after my interview. Because I'll be watching this guy's videos every time I decide to switch jobs in the future. There's so much stuff from this channel that I legit just stuck into my interview script last minute, and it was still super helpful in getting the job.
To anyone who's having virtual interviews any time soon - practice them with yourself and record yourself. I started doing it the night before the interview and was surprised to see that I completely lost any anxiety. So I tried it again in the morning - and boom, the anxiety COMPLETELY went away. I spent the whole time before the interview just talking to myself on camera and it made me feel confident like never before.

Hi Richard, I just want to tell you that you are the best and your lesson has just got me a upper edge and an impressive performance in my just concluded interview.
I had an interview today and I got to watch about 10videos here overnight and I went for the interview this morning.
To cut it short, After the first question, the second question the hiring manager asked, he just said to me, "You seem to know how to answer interview questions, you must have been attending trainings and teachings on interviews" and he had to switch to practical questions which I answered all. He didnt know what questions to ask as it was a wow and impressive performance. He confessed.

Honestly, you made everything so simple and helped me piece everything together. I passed the hardest interview I've had in my career, it was a group interview, admin assessment. 3 people got to final round which was an actual interview. I cannot stress how important this information is prior to any interview! My interview for my dream job happens to be this next Tuesday (video with 2 mgrs) I have never had a "video" interview but rather always in person. Thanks to your tips, templates of speaking and reacting to hard questions and your infectious energy I managed to switch industries from food production to accountancy industry with no prior experience. The twist is I was informed day prior to the interview that I will have to talk in my native language ( which I only use to speak to my family for many years now ) instead of english. So I translated my answers, went to the thing and landed the job! They even loved me speaking about my weaknesses which includes social anxiety. I went to your site too, really good content! So thank you again!
To all who are got an interview ahead- PRACTICE PRACTICE and then PRACTICE more. Watch Richard's videos, personalise your answers, list sticking points to each question so you remember most important things and learn to answer them in different order. Better yet, visualise the thing going smoothly over and over again so you can condition your mind to calm down, sit in a chair dressed in a suit and train that way to simulate the interview. That helped me great deal, even though there was a point I wanted to run away I had a mental safety net of polished answers and hours of conditioning. Good luck all!

This man is so great and talented with so much confidence while talking. I will listen again and again until I feel comfortable with the English language. I am a french lady applying for a bilingual position. The interview take place tomorrow morning and I guess this is way to short to be as brilliant as I wish. But I will take it as an interview training and stop get stressed about it. As Richard said the worst that can happen is that you won't get the job…
