    I compare two of the big driver brands head to head, the Titleist TSR 2 Driver against the carbon wood of the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Driver. Both golf clubs claim forgiveness and fast ball speeds so we test this along with dispersion, backspin and efficiency etc.

    It's funny how the 'clear winner' in all of your 'clear winner' tests is always Titleist. Cos the TSR drivers are beasts!

    • @milk-it
      @milk-it Год назад +2

      I can vouch for that. I just got fitted with the TSR2. This was compared directly to the Aerojet and Ping drivers, and the TSR2 numbers on the Trackman blew the rest away. I will say, Titleist has always been consistent with my club swing and game - just a personal disclaimer, not putting down other premium or solid club makes.

      Titleist is a top contender in every category. They’re the most well rounded clubs all around and rule the golf ball market as well. My favorite part is that they don’t rush a release every year or throw all sorts of designs and colors all over the driver/wood heads. It’s a simple look

    Switched to the TSR2 from many years of different Ping Drivers no matter what else was in the bag, and for me while the Pings have always been fairway finders the TSR just flat out performed the Ping with the same amount of forgiveness but much more manageable spin numbers...tried several different at my fitting (Rogue, Stealth, Cobra, and Tour Exotics) but as far as a "Total Package" nothing compared to the TSR2 for me!

    The TM shaft isn’t the right fit so the extra 500rpm explains the distance difference. The most important takeaway from this comparison is how good the TSR2 is on toe strikes. Mike did a great job on swinging consistently. If your miss tends to be on the toe, TSR2 is awesome.

    I just got a TSR2 driver but can't hit it until August due to rotator cuff surgery. Was gaming the TSI3 but needed more forgiveness on off center hits. Looking forward to July when I'm all healed up and can get back out on the course!

  • @RCGolf

    Titleist TSR2 is probably the best all round driver this year. The big difference here is the CG of the TSR is more forward than the Stealth2 and that is where you get better energy transfer and less spin.

    I have always played Taylormade and Callaway drivers but I was fit into the TSR3 5 months ago and I absolutely love it! The TSR3 and TSR2 are both amazing clubs but the TSR3 just kept my spin down just a bit more. They look, sound, and feel incredible. The ball speeds are second to none. I went and tested the Stealth 2, Paradym, Aerojet, and G430 a few weeks ago just out of curiosity. The only one to come anywhere close was the Paradym, but it still didn't give me the same ball speeds.
