The Mafia's Secret Bunkers (Mafia Documentary) - Real Stories
We've added English subtitles to this documentary, hope it helps with any sound issues. Thanks for watching Real Stories!
its still awful and you are getting unsubbed.
Real Stories I like real stories
Real Stories why is presenter so amazed that tunnels lead to other houses?
Real Stories Also why so amazed when confronted with seized cocaine??
Real Stories wow they take security measures!??
Hats off to the brave citizens who dare to stand up to this organization.
Not something to be taken lightly.
So many people complaining about a free documentary. Thanks for a great upload.
Editing is pretty weird, if you're gonna have the translator talk over the person who's speaking italian then lower the volume of the italian so the viewer has a chance to actually hear what they're saying.
take another bong hit and FOCUS
Jack Olsson ok sir👨🏿🔧
I was hoping that this would be the #1 issue addressed in the comments.I mean, they must have edited it right? And it didnt even dawn on them that it is ridiculously confusing to listen to? Ohhhhh, maybe the editor is deaf, thats it!
I didn't notice anything.
Sorry , i don't conrol the Audoi sound
“I wouldn’t hurt you I know you have children to, I know you all have little ones don’t worry” in a clever sort of way he’s actually hinting and threatening them not to convict me of anything or your family is in trouble.
I was just going to comment that, but had to check to see if anyone else had already. Such an evil genius thing to say
Hi, I am that child
Fascinating documentary, the sub-titles were invaluable. Thanks for posting.
Wow- Just when you think you've seen all the good crime docs, something like this pops up and just carries you away in a mind-blowing, cinematic TRUTH STORM. Great work!! FIVE STARS*****
Great documentary !!!
Italy is so diverse, that the difference between Northern Italy and Southern Italy is the same as the difference between North America and South America.
Pretty much
No its just the dialect of italian
islam said you're welcome.
The biggeste challenge to change the mentality. I have huge respect for all the men and women who thought and still fights against the clans.
Got stoned... fell asleep... woke up to this ......love it !!!!!!
"good job" obscuring Tony's face, if someone from where he lives saw this video he would be recognized instantly.
He was a rat now he is a rat that talks. And yes you could reconize him easy
#FACTS..AND THEM KNOWING THE STORY OF WHO TOLD STORIES TO THE POLICE..IT ALMOST MAKES NO SENSE,THESE PPL DO THIS FOR A LIVING,THEY HAVE TO PROTECT THE SORCE..
@@scubamanae6693 need more people like him
It really suck how they run both voices at the same time very often, at almost the same volume
Glaskruset it's awesome if you speak the both languages 😂😂😂
Glaskruset Yes, hard to understand.
right, i thought i had a vid going somewhere else at first...
Agree!
Italians are just loud people
Excellent documentary, more of this please.
Absolutely ruined the whole documentary with the English translation over the Italian.. can’t hear either of them clearly, managed to watch 20 minutes before it’s really starting to irritate me
Please make a follow up episode on what happened to "Tony" after he was easily identified by everyone who ever met him and watched this doc? Thanks in advance, Ghoul Squad.
dude it's impossible to hear the translations with the original Italian being louder.
This is not Mafia this is Ndrangheta
I feel so bad for the people of Calabria.
The sound levels are bad. I can't make out a word anyone is saying in those "dubbed" parts.
my father born in Reggio Calabria and many relatives still living there... I have heard many tales
Impressively Good !! Really enjoyed it ........
It’s near impossible to hear the translator because they didn’t turn down the volume of the person speaking Italian
I used to work with a woman in our Media Relations Dept just like this guy. To her, the building rooftop was a helicopter pad to shuttle foreign spies and dignitaries in and out of the neighborhood, the stairwells were hidden passageways to avoid discoveries by patients who were using the elevators, the under-building parking areas were subterranean laboratories and cages where secret experiments were done, and our research projects on electrical brain stimulation were really intended to control human behavior. AND, she wanted to get it all on the national news. She probably works with this guy now. ;-)
russian dolls , trojan horses , needles in hay stacks. Im only 12 mintes in .
I first saw this when it came out in like 2010 or whenever & it must be great because I still remember it that’s how I found it again just now 💯
I’m watching this on RUclips and there are no subtitles. Very frustrating, as there are serious problems with the audio! I cannot finish watching.
Super glue the locks that’s something I’d do when I was a child 😂😂
Saju Dulhan just inject acetone into the lock to dissolve the super glue. Boom, childish prank nullified.
jordan hicks lol
The mafia uses hundreds of kid for controlling the streets, hoods, and for sending messages (fatal ones too obviously)
This is ANOTHER LEVEL OF INTELLIGENCE!!! IT'S NOT AT ABOUT THE ITALIAN MAFIA BUT HOW MUCH COKE IS GETTING EXPORTED, TRIPLE THE AMOUNT OF WHAT IT USED TO BE 10 YEARS AGO.
it's a third cheaper too
Mr safiotti is welcome to bank with us here in the usa, we welcome brave men such as him.
These men whom confronted the mafia cannot see the path they walking because of their huge balls
Good video..but... Editing 101 if you have two people talking, one in a foreign language and one translating, you lower the volume of the foreign language so you don't have two people talking at the same time in the same volume... Frustrating trying to hear..
so secret and so powerful they let you make a film about it, i think not.
good show
PS. the translator talk over the person who's speaking italian sho shuild lower the volume of the italian
I know i couldn't hear anything
Could've muted the translotor and let us read subtitles with the Italian speaking
Stick a few more adds in next time
There's a thing called "AdBlock" for all kinds of browsers, a great extansion for such occasions!
i love great extansions
Okeanos I don't mind like 3-4 adds for one hours video but these guys put like 9+ in all there videos
Im just happy they dont seem to play in my ps4 browser
I agree...with the amount of data mining done on my viewing, ads shouldn't be required nor the browser extensions. I just automatically give a thumbs down and move on to something else.
Only Italy??? Its everywhere in Russia, Eastern Europe at least for the past 30 years
What do corrupt organisations do?
Tax people for their own benefit. Have jurisdiction over a territory. Control the use of armed force in a territory.
Sounds like the Government, essentially. People living in Calabria simply call their Government, the Ndrangheta.
If I can vote for them, if they had less trigger-happy staff, made public documents about how they spend their budget and were open to critique, then count me in. Maybe there is a reason that most people organize in nation-states rather than pirate-heavens :P
man the audio in both languages is so hard to hear at the same volume. they put the work into a good documentary, but slack on the sound. i just dont understand man....lol
Mafia is very powerful in any time because the structure that starts and never ends .The bosses always can be replaced with a new one any time and any moment and the game goes on . Having a good connections with the government and other politicians there is no end of it .Specially in Italy and other countries corruption is the oil for the engine that never stops......
right on... i saw this vid awhile back and never got to fully watch it & when i went back to do so it was gone, couldn't find it nor find out why it was removed ??
thanks for the upload either way :P
on another note id suggest reading _Gomorrah_ by Roberto Saviano or watching _Suburra_ directed by Stefano Sollima they night be more about the Camorra than the other O.C groups from Italy *BUT* anything shining some light on the secretive and lesser known O.C groups _other_ than the Sicilian Mafia is always a bonus... I think a lot of ppl assume (wrongly) that the "Italian Mob/LCN" operates in and runs Italy in much the same way that it does America. North Americans grow up watching movies like _The God Father_ _Casino_ or _Goodfellas_ in their portrayal of real life Cosa Nostra like the NYC's "5 Familes" & Chicago's "Syndicate" and their now in/famous members.
The Calabrian word 'Ndrangheta derives from Greek ἀνδραγαθία andragathíafor "heroism" and manly "virtue" or ἀνδράγαθος andrágathos, compound words of ἀνήρ, anḗr(gen. ἀνδρóς, andrós), i.e. manand ἀγαθός, agathós, i.e. good, brave, meaning a courageous man. In many areas of Calabria the verb 'ndranghitiari, from the Greek verb andragathízesthai, means "to engage in a defiant and valiant attitude".
Mafia in Italy is a Greek case from a region call it Magna Grecia (South italy)...mafia is not criminal organisation but a movement of resistance from the local Greeks to northern invaders Lombards and Germans..
The really mafia in Italy is the pope and the government of Italy
London Power shut up and stop claiming other people’s land
It's Greek 2 me Socrates
London Power ..the way you explain things and your knowledge of Greek language , I’m pretty sure your are Greek...
London Power google, translate copy and paste. Trying too sound clever 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why does the translator clash with the italian speaker. Why not use sub titles
The audible translations are hard to hear since the volume of both languages are the same...
If you need a sound editor let me know!!
d-_-b
*i am aware that people have pointed this out in the comments but wanted to let you know since your documentaries are fascinating*
"- What u got there?
- 10 years in prison, that's what I got! " :))
To live outside the law you must be honest
Little did he no it would be twenty
💀😂
Yeah it’s sucks because it was actually all his family members that got killed in Germany and he (Antonio Pelle) was in the middle of trying to make peace with the other clan rather than take revenge which he was probably entitled to but then he got arrested rather than the other clan leaders who killed way more including many of his very family . But he was still a major boss soo deserves prison I guess.
@@billygiles3276 And you guessed well. These are criminals. Not some romantic "The Godfather VI"
The guy they blurred the face do they really think that the mafia wont recognize him lol
Exactly my idea 😏
never understood why they would rist doing that
No, the mafia are very, very bad at key recognition cues; it's just how they are...this is taken advantage of all the time, it is part of why theyre so angry and violent...
Anyone else get chills when he dropped through that hole into that pipe, I swear I'm claustrophobic
I know Calabrese who have been in the U.S. for 40+ years and live on the Upper East Side who absolutely will not speak about this group and turn the conversation away from this subject....
Such a good documentary, i was tempted to turn it off when the English translations came on. I couldnt understand a thing.
In the 8th and 7th centuries BC, for various reasons, including demographic crises (famine, overcrowding, etc.), the search for new commercial outlets and ports, and expulsion from their homeland, Greeks began to settle in southern Italy (Cerchiai, pp. 14-18). Also during that period, Greek colonies were established in places as widely separated as the eastern coast of the Black Sea, Eastern Libya and Massalia (Marseille). They included settlements in Sicily and the southern part of the Italian Peninsula. The Romans called the area of Sicily and the foot of Italy Magna Graecia (Latin, “Great Greece”) since it was so densely inhabited by the Greeks. The ancient geographers differed on whether the term included Sicily or merely Apulia and Calabria: Strabobeing the most prominent advocate of the wider definitions.
With colonization, Greek culture was exported to Italy, in its dialects of the Ancient Greek language, its religious rites and its traditions of the independent polis. An original Hellenic civilization soon developed, later interacting with the native Italic civilisations. The most important cultural transplant was the Chalcidean/Cumaean variety of the Greek alphabet, which was adopted by the Etruscans; the Old Italic alphabet subsequently evolved into the Latin alphabet, which became the most widely used alphabet in the world.
Many of the new Hellenic cities became very rich and powerful, like Neapolis (Νεάπολις, Naples, "New City"), Syracuse (Συράκουσαι), Acragas (Ἀκράγας) Paestum (Ποσειδωνία) and Sybaris(Σύβαρις). Other cities in Magna Graecia included Tarentum (Τάρας), Epizephyrian Locri (Λοκροί Ἐπιζεφύριοι), Rhegium (Ῥήγιον), Croton (Κρότων), Thurii (Θούριοι), Elea (Ἐλέα), Nola (Νῶλα), Ancona (Ἀγκών), Syessa (Σύεσσα), Bari (Βάριον) and others.
catalovis ..
yeah but only like a third max of their genetic heritage is greek when tested in southern italy and many albanians, moors and north africans and pheonicians and many others settles there.Google and you will see scicilans are 10% subsaharan african but greeks hardly even 1% so they are not the same people as the Greeks even if the Greeks think so. They are far more feisty than the greeks and more agressive
He interviewed all men possible but not the greatest against ndrangheta.. Nicola Gratteri
Thank you a lot for the documentary!
How many houses are modeled after Tony Montana’s mansion in Scarface? One was a Camorra boss Walter Schiavone aka Sandokan.
I know that William Cerbo of Ndrangheta had a similar house built. Is that Cerbo’s mansion?
The sound editing is simply so bad that the sound quality make the video too difficult to watch. Suggestion: re-edit, re-upload.
concentrate you ADD freak you
That burnt picture of the arch angel Michael was the most demonic thing I've ever seen, kind of like the Knights templer making a new member spit on a crucifix. Once you do something like that there's is no going back.
Im watching adverts, but every time a docu about mafia shows up...why
U need to pray for more people support Addio Pizzo's campaign against the Mafia. I am praying for more people to support Addio Pizzo's campaign and other people like him to copy his methods - as this is what is needed to stop the Mafia.
Yeah- but he's rich enough to have some solid protection. What chance does Giuseppe Schmo have in his crummy walk-up apartment above his hat shop? Talk is cheap and Italy is chock full of dead heroes.
Subtitles would have been SOOO much better. Cause I can barely hear the translation....
marcus is that you
Police: What have you got Pelle?
Pelle: 10 years in jail is what I've got. 🤣
Good documentary.
We always focus on the drug lords, when will we focus on the drug users?. Pablo Escobar was killed almost 25 years back, was there any reduction in drug exports/imports?. Many Italian, Colombian, Mexican.... drug lords replaced him. If one group or country is taken down, another will come as long as there is demand for the product.
If people stop consuming drugs then demand and competition to export/ import drugs will come down, violence may also come down. Drug users should also share responsibly for violence, they are not just victims.
People should be allowed to do whatever they want to their own noses and boom just like that, there is no drug mafia at all, anywhere, ever again.
Drug consuming will never stop its advertised on as cool gangster thing to do on every movie or television every young viewer will want to try
Great doc...rare look inside
13:00 Kept in a safe to be re-distributed later
sold to the CIA, on the streets of San Fran ..
I got some great ideas for when I start my own crime organization. Kidding of course, ;-) thanks for posting
Calabria no Sicilia
WOWWWWWWWW!!!!!....
AWESOME!!....VIDEO.....
I understand english and italian, but cannot hear what is said, as both languages are mixted and you cannot hear what is been said. It would have been better putting written translation, in order to understand what is said.
At 4:50 when he says discovered almost by chance I think I was busy that day
Lol 😂 😂 😂
This is a few years old. . Watched it a while back, good doc but how about some new ones......
Would have loved to watch it all but I cannot understand them when you have no subtitles they're still speaking in Italian which is just as loud as your American interpreter might want to turn it down a little bit or just add subtitles
Then stop containers coming from South America. Not like they are a power house.
Sliktronik Pimpflex of course. Who do you think did those job before we get swamped with illegal immigrants. College kids.
They take 1,5 € tax for each container, how much is that compared to the government!
That's more than a billion euros worth of yay in that room
@@lor7780 now you bash that and you double that 55.
Math bro please
Respect for Mr Gaetano 👍💪💪💪
When "toni" talks its so loud that i can barely understand the english translation.. this is made really bad
just learn italian bro
They need undercover families to infiltrate these mafia villages.
A lot of ppl in the world taking drugs obviously
The sound of the translator is drowned by the sound of the person speaking Italian. You just cannot hear anything. As a channel that specializes in documentaries, you guys need to modulate the sounds way better, please do the needful.
Everyone who've seen this docu is on the list...best you do not comment.
Great doco, although it’s very hard to hear the translation voice over on top of the Italian voice. You should have lowered the Italian voice
Poor English translation. Cannot hear the voice over translation
Very amateurish film making, especially the audio.
Translating at the same moment the subject was talking made it very hard to understand the translation...
Why would they have subtitles, voice overs, and narrations all at the same time
because amateur sound editor is why.. to an otherwise good documentary.
Someone needs to fix the voice over in this video. It's better to have just stuck with subtitles throughout the entire video. Having the English voice over at the same volume (if not quieter) than the Italian makes it very difficult to follow along with what's being said, which is very frustrating.
Great doc.. however, you need English subtitles for when the voices are being dubbed in English over the men speaking Italian…or just add subtitles and take away the English voice dubbing.
OMG 13:00 Why is 500+ kilos of cocaine just chillin in this cop's office??? Shouldn't they destroy it or something?? or are they saving it for a special occasion? lol
It's for his daughter's sweet sixteen.
I think they hold it as evidence til the case is over then destroy it.
Police Christmas party is sick!
They need to take pics before they destroy it Its like hunting ur gunna take a pic w ur kill same w drugs . Will they do something else w it who knows always blows me away they destroy so much potential money.
if he is a man of honor he will surely sell it onwards
Everyone bitching about the subtitles and I'm here glad that I speak Spanish because I understand everything they say 😎✌️
The language of your colonizer. Lol
Audio prevented me watching this. Shame as looks really interesting. Please adjust dubbing. Subtitles don't correct the confusing overlay of both language tracks.
Good documentary but c'mon lower the Italian speaking volume ffs
Real Sicilian watching this in the US right now. I want to move back to the old country.
Wish they could lower the italiane language, so the english translation voice ends up higher and less confusing.
November 11 2019 and had to pull out at 17 minutes. English translation was drowned out by Italian too loud
Interesting, only the translating part can be done better. Why not sub all the time?
ya and you added 10 commercials.... youtube is getting on my nerves
Got about €500m in a little police stations filing cabinet.
Surprised they not stormed the gaff.
There is another documentary about these bunkers made few years back.
Un saluto da Napoli. Ciao ragazzi
i just love how all the intelligence agencies in the world cant track these down, yet some reporter on youtube can..
hhmmmmmmmmmm
Yeah it’s not because they can’t its mostly because they don’t want to die to corruption and mutual cooperation, for example the CIA has been cooperating with the mafia since the 50s when they hired them kill a Castro and evidence also suggests Kennedy if your research it because both operations came under “operation mongoose”
Graham De Lacey, My father is legitimate and he’s filming with the Italian police
@@Bottlethebubbles Is the reporter your father?
Yes, John is my father.
Police: bang roof with sledgehammer
The Mama: Aight imma head out
interesting documentary other than the near 20 adverts that interrupted it..
We need more commercials.
There are no sub titles. Sound is awful, the English translation is overrun by the actual interview
