I have purchased many toy and hobby UAV's, including the sky viper with $60 additional insurance... The sky viper was the biggest disappoint by far. Lost control aspects @ about 50 yards from launch and away went $180 bucks also on the second flight. The fixed camera position sucked too. Currently flying thus happy with the vivatar aeroview GPS from Walmart @ a cost of $130 otd.
Ps is pretty fast and fun crashed mine but made numbers with white tippex marker to remember important buttons, good fun I have so regret buying it, even tho I no longer play with it as novelty has worn off, hope you enjoy xad

Hi there I have this drone and it is really worth it's money and was my intro to the hobby. Actually they really had a version with the visual positioning I saw it myself in china. There was a cam just before the battery door hatch . At the time I know nothing about these drones so I took the 8807 W version because the cam image was better then the one which had a two cams. I managed to get almost 30 min flight time in this thing. I used a 3.7V 2500mAh 18650 battery to which I soldered a hat connector. It fits in the hatch if you keep the set up slim. Just need trim a bit to the forward since the battery 18650 is a bit heavier then the stock. Another similar drone Visio 809 but that has a proprietory battery. They still sell it so it's a recommended for first timers.

Crashed several times and still flying lol The only downside is the apps control, use it only at a spot like yours but definitely not at residential area. I tried it but it lose control over me like just around 5 to 6 feet away and luckily got it landed right by the road side and right before a passing by vehicle! The transmitter is a must use for a newbie like me.

great video guys . its the exact drone i bought and it just arrived in the post so im looking to learn how to fly it. i hope mine flys as good as that one. my only problem with videos like this is noone ever shows footage of which buttons youre pushing . i want to learn to fly it and i cant if i dont know what buttons to press to do certain things . apart from that , great job

No, and Gearbest support seems unable to resolve that question, although TheRCSailors in this very test states "It's JST, so they don't do a proprietary battery" (@ 01:45 minutes). I ordered a spare for the VISUO XS809W, hope that one fits.
The only extra batteries I found on GearBest for it was 850mA batteries. I got 2 for $12.52. They're a little bit smaller in size too. The only thing is that they all take forever to charge, at least 2 hours.

First, we all have to start some place.That said, I am new to Drone.Don't have nor flew one.I want to buy one, but don't want to forever spend because each type is crap.There is certain things in these I do not know.I like the one posted in vid here, but see some down side.Like camera quality, no sd slot etc.Also I'm not understanding the wifi thing.You have to have wifi to fly it, record or what? This one of mine had no optical in the bottom and the manual clearly said it had barometric alt hold. John Barbee If you use it on a day wit ZERO wind you might be able to get some decent video. You’re hardest job is to keep it stabilised long enough to get the shots you need. Also make sure you record to sd card (visuo xs809hw)

I guess my question is. I know I will be in areas where there isn't even phone signal or even phone networks. We will be on safari and even up the second largest mountain. How will this cope without wifi?
Flew my first ever drone tonight and it was this drone ordered less than 10 days ago. It was delivered in mint condition battery at least partially charged. Setup using the video here was easy and where I wasn’t too sure the instructions were sufficient. Auto take off was the best I got up and away first attempt and tentatively flew no more than a few metres high in and around myself. Found this real stable, controls weren’t over sensitive and within a few minutes I ventured about 10 metres away from myself. I even managed to land this about 6 times with no major upsets. It was dark and we are having some cold breeze in Ireland atm and this did affect the drone somewhat. One small issue which was down to my “noob” flying skills and I dropped the power before I caught a fence but all in all I can’t wait to get out in daylight with the extra batteries I’ve ordered. hey guys my xk x-300 sometimes shoots off on its own, so far I have been able to recover it every time, and sometimes I can't shut the motors down without pulling the battery, even the power button will not work, but this doesn't always happen, so I'm thinking I have a bad ESC (not knowing what I'm talking about) I have done net searches for one to no avail, you have any idea where I may be able to find one?
keith coleman Generally, I find they never offer parts on these types of things. I realized on most quads available out there,none offer parts. My suggestion is that you consider stepping up to a hobby grade quad that you can get parts for. Sadly the market is flooding with quads that once they die,thats it. Like a bic lighter out of gas,you just throw them away. Time to move up to hobby grade!
Is there a drone that transmits to the transmitter? With or without the phone? That would be helpful so I can watch what I would record with said drone.
GREAT VIDEO and certainly fun to watch! I'm a drone fan big-time and a DJI owner. I want to get several of these for gifts, but I'd like to know what happens when it gets out of range. I know it has RTH, but is it auto RTH? For example, if it happens to be over trees, will it ANGLE DOWN to home, or just try to land straight down? I know you can't have it all at this price point, but what are the real chances of flyaways?

I agree, I really enjoy the flight time with this Drone. I bought 3 units, because it's low price. Well... There is no service center or spare parts for toy grade Drones here, so I choose cheap Drones and buy 2-3 units. One for taking videos/pictures for advertisement, and others for backups. No, and Gearbest support seems unable to resolve that question, although TheRCSailors in this very test states "It's JST, so they don't do a proprietary battery" (@ 01:45 minutes). I ordered a spare for the VISUO XS809W, hope that one fits.

The only extra batteries I found on GearBest for it was 850mA batteries. I got 2 for $12.52. They're a little bit smaller in size too. The only thing is that they all take forever to charge, at least 2 hours.

I like the inexpensive 8807HD-G you presented. Is there a way to add an expensive wifi repeater like the Xiaomi 2nd 300Mbps Wifi Amplifier to the controller and the drone. Needing some advice... First, we all have to start some place.That said, I am new to Drone.Don't have nor flew one.I want to buy one, but don't want to forever spend because each type is crap.There is certain things in these I do not know.I like the one posted in vid here, but see some down side.Like camera quality, no sd slot etc.Also I'm not understanding the wifi thing.You have to have wifi to fly it, record or what? I do not have wifi except in my house.So I guess in some way on this Drone in vid, that is going to put a damper on something.Whatever that may be.What I would like is, a Drone in the $100 or less range.One that will last more than 3, 5 min in air.A hd camera least 720p.Have a slot for sd card.Can hover good, control good.Range, pretty high, but don't need above clouds or 3 mile down road.Something just to control smooth a glide smooth.Flips, tricks whatever yeah, if it can do that.Lights and or lighting a plus. This is an old review and I ordered it when u did the review. I been in the hospital for a long time n just hitting my drones out of the boxes. This one of mine had no optical in the bottom and the manual clearly said it had barometric alt hold. Bummer is the app is no longer in the play store same as my BayangToys X 21 dual gps I had bought. What do we do bout that?? Any suggestions??

John Barbee If you use it on a day wit ZERO wind you might be able to get some decent video. You’re hardest job is to keep it stabilised long enough to get the shots you need. Also make sure you record to sd card (visuo xs809hw)
to be honest the camera only records 720hp so i think maybe a different drone.
But what app do you connect?

I guess my question is. I know I will be in areas where there isn't even phone signal or even phone networks. We will be on safari and even up the second largest mountain. How will this cope without wifi?
Flew my first ever drone tonight and it was this drone ordered less than 10 days ago.
It was delivered in mint condition battery at least partially charged. Setup using the video here was easy and where I wasn’t too sure the instructions were sufficient.
Auto take off was the best I got up and away first attempt and tentatively flew no more than a few metres high in and around myself. Found this real stable, controls weren’t over sensitive and within a few minutes I ventured about 10 metres away from myself.
I even managed to land this about 6 times with no major upsets. It was dark and we are having some cold breeze in Ireland atm and this did affect the drone somewhat. One small issue which was down to my “noob” flying skills and I dropped the power before I caught a fence but all in all I can’t wait to get out in daylight with the extra batteries I’ve ordered.

hey guys my xk x-300 sometimes shoots off on its own, so far I have been able to recover it every time, and sometimes I can't shut the motors down without pulling the battery, even the power button will not work, but this doesn't always happen, so I'm thinking I have a bad ESC (not knowing what I'm talking about) I have done net searches for one to no avail, you have any idea where I may be able to find one?
keith coleman Generally, I find they never offer parts on these types of things. I realized on most quads available out there,none offer parts. My suggestion is that you consider stepping up to a hobby grade quad that you can get parts for. Sadly the market is flooding with quads that once they die,thats it. Like a bic lighter out of gas,you just throw them away. Time to move up to hobby grade!

I'm a drone fan big-time and a DJI owner. I want to get several of these for gifts, but I'd like to know what happens when it gets out of range. I know it has RTH, but is it auto RTH? For example, if it happens to be over trees, will it ANGLE DOWN to home, or just try to land straight down? I know you can't have it all at this price point, but what are the real chances of flyaways?

I agree, I really enjoy the flight time with this Drone. I bought 3 units, because it's low price. Well... There is no service center or spare parts for toy grade Drones here, so I choose cheap Drones and buy 2-3 units.
