Baker priced at 78 is a no-go for me in fantasy classic. Shouldnt be a first choice mid, should be a bit of a mix, similar to what he did at the Tigers.
The chances of getting a good player with Pick 3 are better than the chances of getting a good player at Pick 12. And why is WCE becoming a retirement village for people formerly assocaited with Richmond???
@@CoachesPanel Would it? How? WC could have kept pick 3 and still had a crack at Warner in 12 months with whatever they get for Barrass. These deals are unconnected.
@@Power_Prawnstar It wasn't. This deal is much worse. Firstly, none of the picks WC sent to Geelong were nearly as valuable as top 3. Secondly, at the end of 2019, WC were still theoretically contending, which made it more reasonable to top up by adding a readymade player. Kelly was 25, not 27, and he was coming off an AA season. By contrast, WC are now rebuilding, which means early draft picks are the only currency that matters.
Pretty sure Warner not going to nominate to a basket case club that refuses to do the hard yards and undertake a rebuild Should have kept #3 Traded Barrass and used #14 in the draft Use next year's very early ( first 3 ) pick at the draft too The only good thing is WCE got a priority draft pick coming soon enough AFL is pretty generous to the clubs circling the drain..

Baker displayed the worst kind of leadership at Richmond's B&F. Hopefully we keep him far far away from our leadership group in the future.
Agree, that wasn't great
What happened?

👍🏻
I value what WC has given to him to be about pick 6. For a half forward. 😒
worst trade in history can only hope the Eagles are thinking of next year getting chad warner
That would make the most sense for why they did it

The Tim Kelly trade was worse.

Baker the guy who cost us pick 3. Hasn't started off well . He will be constantly compared to who ever goes at 3
