I laughed because I thought of it before she said it. It made me feel better that she felt that way too. Then she mentions her son’s suggestion about adding a half mom! Hahahahahaha
Mary you are such an inspiration for women who think they need their husband to build something for them! You’re showing everyone that with some basic skills we can do it ourselves. Many years ago my husband taught me some basics. He still talks about the time he came home at midnight from his 2nd shift job and I came out of the backyard all sweaty and dirty. I took him back there to show him the fence I built around our deck while he was working that day! I even painted it and planted some flowering vines in front. Did it all by myself with 2 toddlers in tow. Digging the deep holes for the fence posts was the hardest part. I had all the supplies that I bought during the week hidden behind the shed and as soon as he left for work, I got busy!! I had a lot more energy back then 😂
I love it!!! I would like to think I had a few "amazed husband" moments. My hubby passed away 16 years ago. I was 44 and he was 46. God bless him! I miss him so much! I sure hope he's proudly looking down at me, smiling!
Ladies, she IS our FRIEND! She's our SISTER too, we've just never met EACH other! We're ALL a family, of "The Human Race!" Especially if we belong to The Lord! God Bless Mary, her family, and all those that are watching this! In Jesus Name! Amen!
Hey Mary, what are you doing today? “Oh nothing much just whipping up a piece of furniture from some scraps I have. How about you?” This woman is amazing!
Me: six months in and STILL can’t find the cabinet I want......keep looking Mary: 1 day in, can’t find the cabinet she wants.........check list: nailer, scrap wood, wood glue, sander, table saw, cricut.....I’m good. Let’s rock it! YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!!
I love the way you have the "clean" white room and pair it with natural wood elements. Makes them pop, but ties in beautifully. What is so cool is you spent less on making your cabinet than if you had found one you liked and bought it, not to mention it fits exactly the space, and when someone asks about it you can say......just a little something I threw together. Lol
I am so amazed at how you are able to make a beautiful piece of furniture from scraps of wood, and all by yourself! I LOVE the cabinet! You make everything look so easy! I love your skirts, too!~
It was a joy watching you source & build the cabinet because your beliefs & techniques closely match those of my late husband's, also. Your son's comment about the half-moon addition is hilarious!! Well done, Mary. You are always fun & informative. ❤
I too was thinking how cute it would be to put an old black hook on the side for her purse. Mary is one amazing woman with loads of energy. I look forward to Wednesday to see what she comes up with next.
Love, love, love it. You can do anything but I’m most impressed that you don’t have to use a drop cloth when painting. I’d have paint(or polycrilic) everywhere!
Impressive, Mary! The cabinet looks great! I grew up in Knox County but live out west now. I love seeing the Ohio countryside as the backdrop of your projects.
Boys come home and ask.....so what did you do today Mom?.....oh nothing much, just built this beautiful cabinet! How I wish I had your talent and your workshop! I'd settle for just having your vision of decorating! Well done Mary! Really enjoy your videos!
Planning on making my own dining table out of salvage lumber soon. It was nice to see you tackle something as complex as a cabinet and have it come out so well. I love your channel.
I love your cupboard and it's going to provide you with a lot of storage. I love that you left it unpainted, too, because it's a nice contrast with your other furnishings.
Love the rustic cabinet.....our home is rustic and full of wonderful pieces my husband built. Our daughter and her family built a new home a couple of years ago and the first thing she did was go to her great great grandfather's barn and found old doors and other neat things and put them in her home. Love your videos.
You are such a neat lady!! I have all this extra wood myself, and you just gave me a fantastic idea for a pantry for my small kitchen! Thank you, Mary!
Lol...... first you had called it a coffin.... then your son called it an outhouse! LOL!! I actually LOVE it! When you added the block of wood for the closure.... the perfect touch!!! Seriously, it looks great in that spot! Nice job!!!
At first I wasn’t sure that I could see your vision… But as usual it came out great… I had to laugh about the Halfmoon comment from your son… Just wondering where you’re going to hang your purse? You are amazing as always😊 always look forward to Wednesday’s!!
I always look forward to watch your new videos on Wednesdays. My favorite thing to watch is when you make a piece of furniture yourself. I love this cabinet so much! I always get inspired by you. My latest question to myself is "What Mary would do?" Or "How". You are amazing. God bless you and your wonderful family.
I can't get over how you took what looks like garbage and made an amazingly beautiful piece of furniture! You are so handy and have the greatest ideas!
This project brings back memories of myself creating a tall narrow cabinet housing my microwave, toaster, mini appliances freeing up counter space | thank you Mary for continuing to inspire me NY-USA
So surprised to see you not paint the cabinet white! Love that you are both clever and resourceful. Great project....it looks so good where you've put it
The Amazing Mary! I don't think there is anything that you can't do! The cabinet is perfect for that spot, and you will always know that YOU made it. God bless you and yours.
I love that cabinet reminds me so much of my grandma’s back porch. She had a shorter cabinet that they stored the animals medicine like bag balm. You are great. Keep doing good piece. I wonder if the cabinet would be considered antique since the boards are old. Maybe that is something you should find out.
Mary, your cabinet wasn’t to rustic at all. It looks great in the entry! I’m always gobsmacked at the things you can do! Thank you for another super video.
I like that you didn't edit out installing the shelves (then starting over) and adding some humor....love it. Also your reference to the coffin and the comment from your son of just add the half moon. Sharing those comments made this video very enjoyable. Nice project
You are so good at .............EVERYTHING! I love when you say nothing fancy and then turn out wonderful things. You inspire me to do better and not get frustrated when things aren't perfect.
That’s the cutest “coffin” I ever did see! You are amazing, Mary. I really like the suitcase and other decor on top of the cabinet. It all looks precious.
Hello Mary, here is Eva again from Germany and again with a translation from German to English. From your work here I am just totally thrilled again and I congratulate you on this great cabinet and almost everything from scrap pieces. You can almost not believe it. Looking forward to your next video. Many greetings from Eva

I believe she can too❤ I've never seen someone so inspiring and so carefree and smart and taĺented❤ her husband and sons are so blessed❤her home so well organized and healthy meals❤ I could make her a soap opera ❤ on educating the mothers and daughters on hoe to survive😊 I watch her every Wednesday! If I miss her I'm saddened😂 Mary I love youyour energy and god gives spirit❤❤❤❤❤
Winter seems to last forever in NY. I dread its coming and celebrate its departure. I love spring, and the first Robin gives me cause for jubilation ... even if there's still snow lingering, or even falling. I enjoy your videos. Such a pleasure to know there's no bad language and negative garbage to worry about. God bless you and yours.
Mary you just amaze me. "Hold my coffee, I'm just gonna run out to the shed real quick and make a beautiful cupboard."
😄
😆
Right !! She's awesome very creative! 👍🔩🔧🔨⚒️🛠️📐👩🔧
Hehehe I know right!!!!!!!!!!!
Lol, true, but it did take a few days.
Did anyone else crack up when she said “...looking ominously like a coffin “ 😂😂😂
I laughed because I thought of it before she said it. It made me feel better that she felt that way too. Then she mentions her son’s suggestion about adding a half mom! Hahahahahaha
Lol Mary will probably make her own coffin when her time comes. And make the funeral dinner the day before she dies!
Yes, cause I thought it looked like a coffin too at first!
Then get son saying it only needed a half moon carved into the door.
What is the significance of the numbers?
Me: *wake up* I think I’ll sweep my floors today
Mary: *wake up* I’m going to sand cut and make a beautiful cabinet from scratch today.
Love it!❤️
....while approving a new pattern for my clothing line that is now up on for sale in my store! You go girl~ Prov 31
Thrift stores: No cupboards for you today, Mary.
Mary: Hold my apple cider, girls. I’ve got some old boards out back! 🤣
Mary you are such an inspiration for women who think they need their husband to build something for them! You’re showing everyone that with some basic skills we can do it ourselves. Tammy that is fantastic. Even if you don't have the same energy you can always do it slower if you need it. I take my hat off.
Wow! Tammy, you are also an inspiration! You go girl!
I love it!!! I would like to think I had a few "amazed husband" moments. My hubby passed away 16 years ago. I was 44 and he was 46. God bless him! I miss him so much! I sure hope he's proudly looking down at me, smiling!
I am always inspired by Mary to do many projects. I can say 50% of them turned out bad. Hubs does a better job than me.
“ She thought she could, so she did.” Amazing MARY. You are an inspiration!
"If you can't find it, make it".... you are absolutely amazing!
That was my dad’s saying too. He made beautiful furniture and artwork. ❤️
When I was watching this I told my husband “this is my friend Mary, she can do anything!”
I always tell my husband..We are going to Mary's house for a visit when we watch her videos
@@christinamercurio570 I always use the same phrase when talking with hubby or friends, "My friend Mary . . ."
Ladies, she IS our FRIEND! She's our SISTER too, we've just never met EACH other! We're ALL a family, of "The Human Race!" Especially if we belong to The Lord! God Bless Mary, her family, and all those that are watching this! In Jesus Name! Amen!
Same here. When I have a tough day I get in bed and watch Mary. My husband hears all about her too. She has such a vision and is so talented
And just like that she builds a cupboard.Wow . Amazing.
Oh yea-there’s my mom w her nail gun just building a cabinet🤩
Just an idea...🧐let's see if I can.... how about... THEN POOF! It's a stylish, functional cabinet (that can be revamped into a coffin) 😂🤣
Hey Mary, what are you doing today? “Oh nothing much just whipping up a piece of furniture from some scraps I have. How about you?”
This woman is amazing!
Amazing she can poly that cabinet without using a drop cloth!!
I know, totally agree.
That feat amazes me too!
Agree
No drop cloth! I always make such a mess!
My thoughts exactly 😲
Mary your family must be so proud to have such a talented daughter, wife and mom. I don’t think there is anything you can’t do.
Wow i am telling you, you are better than a magic fairy...stunning job
She IS! The Make It Beautifully Fairy Mary
Your son is hilarious.... "and we're good to go!" 😉
Is there anything you can’t do? Enjoy Wednesdays for your new videos.
You're neighbor called.... they want their wood back! Awesome job, Mary!
You could have NEVER found anything that looked better than what you made. It is beautiful. I love a touch of rustic .
Me: six months in and STILL can’t find the cabinet I want......keep looking
Mary: 1 day in, can’t find the cabinet she wants.........check list: nailer, scrap wood, wood glue, sander, table saw, cricut.....I’m good. Let’s rock it!
YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!!
You are definitely a “Wonder Woman”!!
I used to build pieces like that. Loved doing it and giving pieces to my daughters. I have lost my passion, but love watching you.
Such an inspiration ❤️. I don’t wear skirts but shoot, she even makes me want to wear one. Mary, you are a blessing and you inspire everyone of us 😍
Mary, you’re a genius! I love the cabinet.
Proverbs 31 woman. I admire you so much Mary. God bless you my precious sister in Christ. 🙏🏼🙌🏼♥️
I am so amazed at how you are able to make a beautiful piece of furniture from scraps of wood, and all by yourself! I LOVE the cabinet! You make everything look so easy! I love your skirts, too!~

What an awesome piece of work. I’ve day you’re boys will say “your grandma made this!”
Yippeeeeeee, I love it when you make things yourself
Me too!
Oh man you are brave to varnish that wood on your beautiful wooden floors without a drop cloth! Beautiful job on your cabinet! 👍
So pretty. I love the old wood. You could put a hook on the side to hang your purse.
I too was thinking how cute it would be to put an old black hook on the side for her purse. Mary is one amazing woman with loads of energy. I look forward to Wednesday to see what she comes up with next.
Mary, I'm so thankful for the talents you share so lovingly. God bless you.
Mary you are so talented nice job that turned out beautiful.
You need to put that saying on a shirt “if you can’t find it...make it!! Beautiful!
Love, love, love it. You can do anything but I’m most impressed that you don’t have to use a drop cloth when painting. I’d have paint(or polycrilic) everywhere!
Mary, you are amazing!
Love the cabinet! 😃♥️👏🏻 I think a pretty black hook would look nice on the side to hang your purse.
The half moon comment was hilarious. It turned out great. You are so talented.
Oh my gosh Mary, is there anything you can’t do! Love the cabinet ♥️
In a word, "Wow!". Thank you Mary! Has your family told you lately that you are just awesome!? Indeed you are! God bless you.
Impressive, Mary! The cabinet looks great! I grew up in Knox County but live out west now. I love seeing the Ohio countryside as the backdrop of your projects.
I'm in awe at how Mary builds an amazing, rustic cupboard from materials she has on hand. I struggle to hammer a nail in straight!
Oh my word! Your talent is amazing! That piece is priceless! I think it looks great with the rest of your decor. Warms up the room with that raw wood!
I like how the cabinet makes the beams in the fridge area pop. Beams and cabinet look really nice and warm against white walls
Well, that was fantastic Mary. Turned out really well. One day will you show us how to build a bathroom medicine cabinet please?
I like that idea. That would be so great if she did that n of course we know she can.
Every week you amaze me again.
That turned out so beautiful Mary! Love how you save and reuse everything 😍
Boys come home and ask.....so what did you do today Mom?.....oh nothing much, just built this beautiful cabinet! How I wish I had your talent and your workshop! I'd settle for just having your vision of decorating! Well done Mary! Really enjoy your videos!

Mary, we are mere mortals who bow down to your amazingness!
I love this so much!!! It has me scheming about what I could do with some old wood planks my husband brought home from a covered bridge he restored.
Arlena Roche, I would love to see what you would do with that!
🐼 Big Bear Hugs from a 67 yr old grandma in Kirby, Texas, USA 🐼
Wow,that cabinet is so nice!!
I love how you repurpose things.
Very inspiring 🙂
Jesus was a carpenter and you are His daughter.Amazing job!
I love your cupboard and it's going to provide you with a lot of storage. I love that you left it unpainted, too, because it's a nice contrast with your other furnishings.
Your son has a good sense of humour X This is an amazing build - you are always so impressive
Mary, Mary, I said it once and I'm going to say it again: " I want to be just like you when I grow up".🤗🍀 This was a nice start to my Birthday.💚💚🍀
This is genius. Looks so lovely inside out. Love the addition of that pretty mirror.
You’re so creative.

She bought 4 bins, likely one for each family member, and I presume she will put her purse in her bin. Or perhaps she'll just put it on the top shelf.
She could put some coat hangars on the sides
I had the same thought about the half moon & about a cast iron hook on the side for her purse.
I can't even build Legos. And those come with instructions and pics. Wow. You're amazing!!!
I always look forward to watch your new videos on Wednesdays. My favorite thing to watch is when you make a piece of furniture yourself. I love this cabinet so much! I always get inspired by you. What a gorgeous project!! You are so talented and I’m so inspired!!
Just another day in Mary’s World! It would take me a while just to get up off the workroom floor!!! The cupboard turned out perfect!!
LOVE it 💖 It just seems so natural for you to build a piece to go anywhere!! I'm needing an entrance piece, and you just inspired me! Thanks Mary!!👍💖
Mary, that cabinet is beautiful. You are a winner. The Rustic part is perfect! Tfs. Donna xoxo
Here comes another master piece
Mary, your cabinet wasn’t to rustic at all. It looks great in the entry! I’m always gobsmacked at the things you can do! Thank you for another super video.
I’m surprised you didn’t paint it then sand it a lot. I hear brown wood is coming back in style. I like a mix but I love white. 😂
Me too.
I like that you didn't edit out installing the shelves (then starting over) and adding some humor....love it. Also your reference to the coffin and the comment from your son of just add the half moon. Sharing those comments made this video very enjoyable. Nice project
You whipped that cupboard together like it was no big deal!! I'm very impressed. TFS.
You are so good at .............EVERYTHING! I love when you say nothing fancy and then turn out wonderful things. You inspire me to do better and not get frustrated when things aren't perfect.
I feel like such a slug watching you work!! This was fantastic!!!!
Just wow! Glad you put that closer on the cabinet. That takes me back a few years!☺️☺️☺️☺️
Typical son comment about the half moon!
Your son must have a wonderful sense of humor! So funny.
That’s the cutest “coffin” I ever did see! You are amazing, Mary. I really like the suitcase and other decor on top of the cabinet. It all looks precious.

Mary: "definately nothing fancy"
Then grabs a few power tools and proceeds to whip up a beautiful furniture store worth cabinet!
Great build! Love how it turned out🥰 The numbers added to that rustic look❤️❤️❤️
I loved watching the process, but WAY beyond my level of expertise!!! Looks great, Mary ! I thought “outhouse, “ too! 😂🤣😂 Great storage!
