OMG!!! Is there anything Mary can't do!???!!! When she can't, she asks for help but does it herself!!! No, the coffee doesn't give you THAT MUCH energy, that's a great gift of good health, determination and making a dream become reality by her hands. She also had responsible parents who taught morals and values, which we need more of nowadays!! Great job Mary!! What an inspiration you are for women!!! God bless you and your family!!😊
Mary, your ' can do' attitude is an inspiration to many woman. Its nice for your husband, boyfriend or friend or family to help out , but its brings an incredible sense of accomplishment when you can also tackle something for yourself or mostly for yourself. Amazing improvement. Here is a DIY tip for Mary. My laundry room counter had no end cap like yours. I took acrylic craft paint in the colors of my counter and layered them in spots to match the top and now it blends right in. It only took about 10 minutes and you'd never know now.
If the laundry room makeover wasn’t enough you had to go and say I’ve always wanted a shoe rack I’ll go out and see what Ive got. Oh come on and a new sink!!!…..Mary you are AMAZING seriously amazing.

The laundry room makeover looks beautiful 😍 Everything looks great and it's good a new toilet was replaced; why not 🙂 Each update just adds to the entire room's prettiness and downright practicality. BTW, all the "little touches" are great, but just love that drying rack!😍 Can you tell me approximately how much weight it can hold? I have a very small laundry room with a pair of older SUPER sized washer and dryer (still working great!). I do have a small shelf and four full size cabinets. The wall opposite the machines is where I'd like to "anchor" the drying rack. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I always look forward to watching😊

Mary, if you want plants that would enjoy this space, peace lilies will appreciate it. They like wet and rather dark places and the white walls will provide enough non-direct light for them.

@@brendadavis2548 Yes, you're right, it's a German dialect and not close to Dutch. I speak PA Dutch myself and when my husband and I were in Germany a few years ago we could understand quite a bit of the German words we heard!

Beautiful job as always. After having one of those water lines to the washer rupture while we were away for four days and completely flooding downstairs, I always turn those valves off when I finish laundry. Lesson learned the hard way.
Or at least turn off valves when going on vacation

I don't normally keep it there, but it got placed there in a hurry to get on to the next thing...and of course, it's still there. Hope you and your family are having a wonderful vacation!

I love this laundry room makeover. It encompasses many upgrades in a single room. 5 weeks ago we gutted out only bathroom in main house. The big useles giant built in spa tub didn't work for us in our older age. Now we have a large spa shower with real doors with a sit down bench with second hand held shower. We replaced everything. New engineered quartz counterpoint. Slip proof tile. We kept old vanity and moved over. Added 2 cubbies on sides for storage baskets. Still to add over toilet shelves. Where I can add more personalization. We love it. Like you we learned a lot in the process.
I knew you couldn't go without painting the walls. After that I also knew you would do it all!!!! Love it. So fresh light and so clean.
As always you did a great job. Love the new sink , gives me inspiration🌼🌼🌼 and I love the fact that your brother-in-law still speaks Pennsylvania Dutch.🌻

I’ve been eying a stainless steel sink for my laundry room. As my 20+ plastic one has a hole in the bottom. Also think I’ll paint my cabinets.

Hi Mary, I just love when you speak Pennsylvania Dutch with your husband. I'd love for my mom to hear the 'talk' again that she heard with her parents such a long time ago. I wonder if you'd consider sitting down and having a conversation with your husband for us to listen in to one day. Just an everyday conversation my mom might have heard in her younger years.
