Thank you for your kind words. We've made those mistakes before so we've learned our lessons a long time ago 🤣 . We started DIY renovating our first house in 2006 and it was a hot mess express. We learned a lot. We made mistakes. I need to find that old hard drive of pictures so can make a video and tell some stories on myself.
Love your new laundry room makeover. One suggestion, Lowes sells a product I use on grout. Made by Tile Guard/Homax called Tile Grout Coating. It looks like a shoe polish dispenser with a dauber. I clean the grout and let it completely dry. Use the container upside down so the dauber will dispense the liquid onto the grout line. If you get liquid into the tile (you will), just wipe it with a damp cloth after it dries. I do my full shower every few years when it starts to look sad. I swear by it. I use white, but I think it now comes in other colors. Check it out. My tile is 32 years old, and after I use this, it looks like new. If you have very small tiles as I have on the large shower and bathroom floors, it takes a while. You have large tiles, so it would not be too hard to do. It comes in a 4.3 oz dispenser and was not very expensive (last time I bought it). Just saw it on Amazon for 9.08 for the 4.3 oz size. This is much cheaper than a rug, and rolling your cart over a throw rug will be frustrating. This is easier to keep clean. Good luck.

This looks fantastic!!! Please make sure to put edging on your cut edge of your countertop by your laundry sorter, to keep it clean and dry (moisture will cause the cut area to chip and swell up).
Yes! We are going to actually going to peel the extra from the scrap top and glue it to the edge and route the edge like they do for the glue on laminate but haven't yet. Good catch! We are also going to add an end panel to that cabinet because there is a slight gap where the counter and cabinet meet. The time line was a little tight for everything. Thank you.

Thank you!! If I could go back in time I would have chosen a stackable washer dryer so I could run bottom cabinets in that corner but overall I am so happy with how it ended up with the washer dryer we have now.
The water hose hookup is on the far left and the vent hole for the dryer is on the right so it's best they stay where they are. The door opens easily where it is. I'm not sure switching them around would be easier as then I'd have to swap the dryer door hinges to the other side as well. It would be a mess.

These are the utility cabinets so in a different area then the pre-assembled ones. Not the best quality wise but great for a low traffic area like the laundry.
Hi Jessie.. Love the new laundry. We all have to do it... so why not have somewhere nice to work in? I remodelled my laundry a few years back, and it has been my favourite renovation in the house. I had to get rid of my top loader washing machine because I had to stand on a stool to reach the bottom and even higher to reach the dryer (I am only 5ft.) So I have really enjoyed having a bench for folding which I've never had before. Your laundry is clean and neat and it must be a joy to walk into after everything being out on shelves.
