Not strict carnivore but 90% meat, fish, eggs, fat for 2 years. Osteoarthritic pain was overwhelming and I was desperate to reduce inflammation. Ended up losing 35 lbs, back to highschool weight after holding on to that 35 lbs (and more) for 25 years. Arthritic pain reduced 50-75% and sometimes 100% for days at a time. Can easily fast 16-24 hours, no digestive issues, energy high and steady all day whether I'm eating or not. It's like a goddamn miracle and I was the world's biggest skeptic before.

@@eventhorizon7234 The difference is that vegans who claim improved health usually do improve very quickly, but not not by eliminated meat (which is what they assume) but by eliminating processed foods and vegetable oils in particular (which are incredibly toxic and inflammatory to humans), as most vegans follow the low fat protocol. That will show short term improvements. But, humans are designed to eat animal fats, so long term the vegan diet is disastrous. Also, vegan and vegetarian diets are proven to INCREASE depression and anxiety. Our brains need saturated animal fats. I was vegan for 2 years, with horrible IBS, aches, low energy and brain fog. 10 months ketovore and all ailments gone. Depression can be cured by eating meat, but cannot be cured by eating vegetables.

Thank you Joe for bringing Dr. Paul Saladino on your show and giving him such a broad platform. While more and more physicians are subscribing to low carb and even carnivore diets, very few of them are as thoroughly researched as Dr. Saladino when it comes to debunking claims made by vegans about the positive role of plants and the supposed pernicious affects of eating meat. Dr. Saladino , in the time I have been following him, has been so prolific in his effort to exonerate animal foods while cogently illustrating that plant based foods are at best, suboptimal, and at worst, can negatively affect our health. His book, "The Carnivore Code", and his podcast, "Fundamental Health", should be considered the best repositories of research and arguments against the mainstream propaganda vilifying an animal based diet. A vegan detractor who does not fully contend with the evidence and arguments that Dr. Saladino has curated over the years, is not an honest actor.

The indigenous tribes of the equatorial regions also eat around 70% of their diet from fruit but don’t over consume a single fruit as they don’t feel as good.

And that's like perfect, textbook in-peer-group competition violence. And, you know, that's a story about jealousy and competition, but the subtext of the story is about MEAT! Long story short my wife was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that targeted her thyroid and caused a list of other issues including high blood pressure. She went on a keto diet and weaned herself off of her medication in the process. Needless to say she no longer has the immune disease and the other symptoms. I watched this video and it kind of gave me a more understanding of why it worked but I wanted to do further research so I got the book. The carnivore code broke it down for me in a way that I could understand and made sense of why the diet worked so well. I just want to say that I appreciate this video and also the book and will be recommending this book to friends. Thanks guys

What he’s talking about kinda resonates with the Cherokee legend about the two legs and the plants kind of the medicine legend. Here’s how it goes “the old ones say at one time all creation spoke the same language. The plants. Could communicate with the finned ones, the four leggeds could speak with the trees, the stones could talk with the wind, and even the most dependent pitiful part creation, the two leggeds, or as we have come to call ourselves, humans. Could also speak with other parts of humanity, all existed in harmony. The plants, the animals, and the elements of the four directions (all existence) all knew that if the two leggeds were to survive, they would need help. The animals have of themselves, willingly sacrificing, so that the humans could have food. They knew that their skins were much better suited for survival than that of humans, so they allowed their skin be taken and used for clothing and shelter. The finned ones, the fliers, and the crawlers also allowed themselves to be humans, to insure their survival. The plant people, the standing people (trees) and the stone peoples(rocks) freely gave of themselves so that the humans had what they needed for food, clothing, and shelter. An agreement was forged that the two leggeds would ask permission for these gifts, give thanks to the sacrifice, and take no more than what they needed. And so, it was good.
But then the two leggeds started growing in numbers, and began to feel more important than the rest of creation. They began to believe that the web of life revolved around them. Ignoring the fact that they were just one small part of the circle. The two-leggeds began to kill without permission. They began to kill without asking for permission. They began to take more than what they needed. They ceased to give thanks. All parts of the agreement was broken. The animal councils banded together to determine what they should do to right these wrongs. They needed to protect themselves from destruction and eradication. And so, it was decreed by the council, if one of their clan was killed by the two leggeds and thanks was not given for its sacrifice, the chief animal spirit would the afflict the disrespectful killer with a devastating disease.
The plants were distressed and said to the animals “they wrong us too. They dig us up, trample us, burn us out, and don’t even listen when we tell them what we can do to help them. Yet, we feel compassion for the two leggeds. Man struggles to realize his place in the web of creation and he cannot learn if he is wiped out by disease. Man needs our help, so for every disease you animals bring to them, we, the plant people will give them a cure. All the two leggeds have to do is “listen” when we talk to them.” Source: Americanlegends.com and here that’s why their good medicine but what he’s explaining is why we must not misuse plants as well.

Maybe the teachers would contact the parents or even social services thinking it was some sort of abuse or neglect due to malnourishment having know idea how nutritious it actually is. I imagine it would end up on the news. And then more people would hear about carnivore and then there would be a huge back and forth between vegans/veggies, carnivores, and different types of doctors. Maybe it would lead to more research on it.

Uh, the low-carbers need to stop getting fooled by CAC scores of zero. Virtually all Americans have arterial plaque forming by age ten. CAC scores only capture hard calcified plaques, so about half of men have CAC scores in their early 50s despite having extensive plaque. Then about a decade later, their CAC scores start ramping up.

I've looked into this alot. I just couldn't understand how people can like cilantro when I could puke by the taste of it. Apparently a select bunch of people have a different gene in them that makes cilantro taste like a straight up mouth full of soap. Unfortunately I am one of those people. 😒

The problem is anyone who does research into the food supply in America, it’s tainted with all kinds of additives and chemicals that other countries don’t put in their food. There’s around 1,000 more chemicals we use in America in our food supply that’s very minimal or outright banned in Europe. And countless foods here that use to be chemical free the big food companies started putting way more harmful ingredients in them.

      Cats don't. Canids do.
Cats eat the organs and meat and as much bone as they can manage with their comparably short muzzles. They're obligate hypercarnivores.
Wolves and coyotes are omnivorous and will go through the ass to eat parts of the gi tract but they don't eat a lot of the stomach contents either.
Cats more often than not leave the entire stomach and the gallbladder.
