I took my front wheel bearings apart to inspect them because the front wheel was noisy. This in my case was the only source of the noise. The front left bearing was dry and dirty from water infiltration. This is your left when standing on the scooter and facing forward. The right side bearing was clean and greased. The right side bearing is protected from the elements from the brake shoe cover. The left side bearing is exposed to the elements, I am quite shocked about this as I do not purposely ride in the rain. I have been caught in the rain a couple of times and have maybe ridden 8 km in light rain. I have cleaned, lubricated and greased the bearings to fix the problem. My G2 only has 723 km on it. My G30 Max had 6,000 km on it and I always rode it in the rain. I had no issues with the G30. It was a tank.
Sale here, front wheel became noisy at high speed, but it's on F2, it's seem they have the same mechanism.

same problem with g2, and not with my old g30
@@drikiwow-8383 I have 3,000 km on my G2 Max. 2,300 km since the regrease and it is still quiet.

Thanks for the great video, why did you use a pin like tool to hit axle when removing it rather than directly hitting on the axle?

With these SKF bearing, do you need to put grease inside or it doesn't need it?
well this skf bearings have a lot of grease inside and sealings are good, so you probably will damage the sealing if you open it..

Do you know the specs on the spacer they use inside the fork on the non brake side? My second hand one appears not to have one. Hoping to purchase.

My wheel started squeaking steady at 95km in. I have new ones on order for today but should i just re grease the factory ones or take em out and put these supposedy better ones in?

When you were punching out the old bearing, did you have the punch sitting on the inside part or the outside part of the bearing?
when punching out it does not matter... but you can only punch out by the inner ring. When punching in the new bearing ONLY on the outside ring, or you will damage the new bearing

Друг,я видел для левого подшипника подставляют напечатанный на 3д принтере пыльник.Как думаешь,вместе с ним эти накладки боковые встанут обратно?Хотя бы с их доработкой небольшой напильником
незнаю, по мне так лучше поставить хорошие подшипники с защитой от влаги, как эти подшипники что в видео
@@RMFUNTIK под действием постоянной грязи с водой мало какой подшипник долго проживет
SKF живет долго, особенно эти усиленные.. :) проверено

Does it have to be rs bearing or does 2rs works aswell? 🤔
RS means seal on one side only and that bearing can only be lubricated from the unsealed side; 2RS would be a double sealed bearing which is factory sealed and lubricated and cannot accept any further lubrication.

RSH OR RS. you need a sealed bearing. VV don't know whats stand for.

Is skf bearing better than original? After 700km thinking to replace.
They are better than original by 100% 😁👍 not the best ones but surely better.

if they are rusted, no oil will help. bearings costs like 4 bucks.
