They planned to call their child Vincent, after his late father. Authorities then assumed that Vince's mother thought she had a baby due to the grief of losing her husband. Vince's death shows that if someone tries to touch their parallel self, they will be erased from existence. History would be bent so they would have never been born.

I’ll get why writers never give the audience what they want. Where’s Chloe? We killed hundreds of ppl for her and she’s not even in the game……. Just bunch characters that pale in comparison.
