nice video mate, never dropped my lures/jigs to that small before, think 2g jigheads are the smallest I have gone, had a few odd bream when perch fishing, you really have made me think about dropping to even smaller lures like the 0.4 jigheads for some fun over the docks in the warmer months. I have a 0-7g 6,6 rod that would be perfect for this kind of fishing, found this video very useful and good tip about the braid and fluorocarbon too. look forward to seeing more of this type of fishing in your future videos bud

good work mate, iv had roach and rudd hit my lures but iv never had them hook up as iv never used small enough jigheads really, you should try and get some dace! iv only had two on lures so far.
iv had a bream on a spoon and once i had a big breamXroach hybrid on a little earthworm lure and long shank size 10 with a few split shot, that was drifting on the river like you would drift real worms.
you should try for some ruffe too, id love to get one of them on a lure

great to do. Camera the Bag Rod, net and go and never know what the day brings. Not the first time 1 meter Pike liked mine jigs too or on the dropshot, so use on those waters soft knotwire easy no sleeves and works fine we got alot of Pikes here in the Nederlands.

With the roach it's more about consistency , they seem to like a really fast twitch slow retrieve and almost worked at the same level in the water, so rather than up and down they want a straight line.
