Bought the whole TSP pack but will wait on playing the Cicada until it receives some quirk love. I have the Warthog and honestly would rather just use it to do the same thing better.
Would love to see some unique quirks on mechs like this. Like... Increased critical damage and/or chance for those boated smaller ballistics weapons and faster targeting data?
8 tons of ammo seems a bit absurd to me. I think 6tons is plenty with ammo skills, as that's going to be 1296 potential damage. As a pseudo lighmech, most of that should be going into enemy's backs anways, and you shouldn't be missing that often at 270 meters with 1700-1955 projectile speed. If you solo kill a few mechs as a Cicada, and your team still loses because you ran out of ammo, I'm not sure needing extra ammo is the problem. Plus, you could run some Artillery strikes too if you reeeally need that extra damage to close out the match. Personally, I'm barely passable as a lightmech player, so I don't even go 6 tons, I'm not going to live past 5. Just Crank that XL engine to a 320 strip your cockpit armor, and slap on a few JJs depending on how much ammo you feel comfortable with.

Nothing feels better than beating TTB. No shadow having weakness. Gotta exploit to be good. It's sad because you're actually good at aiming and tactics.

I called mine the SneezyCactus.
It's a risky mech to pilot; so much potential damage, so fragile because it's Inner Sphere.

I definitely prefer the warthog also. I can consistently deal 600+ with that thing aometimes 1000+. I doubt id see the cicada come even close

This mech looks broken
The Warthog is definitely broken. Legs are weak but they need to be a priority target.
