The only useful feature to me is the GPS-based car locator which can come in handy in the event of theft. Other than that, nothing truly useful for me. Make sure to turn off the "Smart Driver' datalogging on your driving habits in the app.
Tesla has had this for years, biggest benefit is being able to pre-heat or pre-cool the car before getting into it using HVAC controls, really nice feature. Think about checking on your car, its 110 degrees inside sitting in the sun and you have a 5 min walk it will be 72 by the time you open the door.

If you lock your key FOB in the trunk or front trunk will they lock? Is ask because I once locked myself out of my C6 at the airport when I closed the hatch with my key FOB in my trunk.
I locked my key in the trunk of my Camaro SS, and used the app to unlock the car. Very useful in a pinch. I now have a C8 HTC that I’m going to set up with the app.

I just picked up my 24 Z06 and saw that I have that too, haven’t explored anything on it yet, thank you for the introduction on some of the features .

I don't see why you couldn't set it up like that. Just allow App notifications.
