I have been feeding Raw to my dogs and cats for 10 years. The only raw food I've ever mix with kibble is a raw egg. I never fed Raw with the kibble. I might have fed one meal of kibble and the next meal of raw but I don't mix the two together because they digest different rates. To me it's just easier not to mix the two.
Just a question. I have a GSD and I was wondering can I feed him two types of dog food brands? Both these brand provide different nutrients so I was wondering can I mix them together or give it at a seperate time?
What you're spreading are half truths and non accurate information. Humans mostly mix everything in our stomach although we feel kinda heavy, sleepy but we don't die... that happen cause we shouldn't mix some groups of food but we do. Raw food on dog is longer to process but need more acidity (1 to 2 PH)to digest but kibble digest faster but doesn't need to much acidity (3 to 5 PH). That's why dogs who have been fed kibble all their lives 6 7 or8 years are so complicated to transition to a raw food. Please, do not get spreading lies about salmonella and other stuff, again HALF TRUTHS from the pet food industry.
Raw feeder here! This information is actually incorrect. It was a myth spread by the raw feeding community. So if you don't have enough money for a full raw diet that's okay. Toss some raw meat on top that kibble!! If you have some resources for your claim, please do sent them my way because I am still learning of course. :)
thank you soooo much...We got a new puppy and we are having some trouble transitioning. I feel more comfortable mixing kibble with his raw now....
Can I feed my 3 years old boerboel 1/2 kibble 1/2 raw ? Thanks
Everything I am reading states that dogs produce about 100x more acid vs people. So kinda confussed. could anyone help me out?

The ph thing isn’t true. Studies have been done and found that dogs on straight kibble still had a low ph around 2.
She looks like she knows nothing at all about nutrition!!!!!
