Mr. Panoz just died a few weeks ago but the company is a true father and son success story. These roadsters are the performance bargain of the century.
I have a 1997 same color!! But it's not super charged. I love it the only thing it's hard to do a u-turn. And the review mirrors comes from a Mazda Miata! Lol only 176 was built Braselton Georgia.
I now know about a car I honestly have never even seen or heard of. At the first glance I’m thinking Plymouth prowler crosses with a 427 Shelby cobra. The bumpers are like a cobra, the rear tail lights are similar to that of the cobra also. But that front end screams prowler to me. Definitely a interesting car to say at the least!
I use to have a poster of one in my room for the longest time. I even have the little 1:18 diecast of it sitting with my diecast plymouth prowler. I've always thought they were sharp rides.
Hey Shawn, I recently purchase a AIV and I'm having a hard time finding a service manual so I can properly work on the AIV according to the manufacture. I've been unable to reach Panoz in GA, not sure if they're still active but not much luck. Is there any way you can put me in contact with Vic the AIV owner. I've got so many questions about the AIV. I appreciate any help!
This was my favorite car in the Chicago edition of _Midtown Madness..._
Looked stunning in dark blue. Sounded pretty awesome too!
Me too! It really brings back memories! ahah
It's a cool car but the interior is so mid-90's...
Brodie Bennett they build some incredible vehicles
Same, i was about to comment the same thing
Was there a non chicago edition?
@@s_for_short2400 Midtown madness 2, the name Chicago Edition was the 1.

Vampirebear13 I heard that he had passed. Their history is a great story!
Man that is one special car! I worked at Panoz back in those days. Only the last 3 or 4 had the superchargers.
And it’s crazy to me that almost no one knows about these cars!
Wow! Awesome ride and presentation. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Paul Knauf glad you enjoyed it. Such a great Roadster
Thanks for the ride in the Roadster💯👊💯
Christopher Marechal that was a fun one to drive!

I remember these from Midtown Madness.

Wyatt Fortune yeah, it has elements from both for sure. So cool to learn about Panoz and their history and to drive this thing!

Really great car and history behind Panoz
Nice looking car looks like fun
Allen Saunders purpose built to drive and such a unique look
I like this car a lot!! I'd buy one if I ever see one for sale!
J.F Cote this one may be for sale soon...
@@AutotopiaLA Approximately how much would that go for? Do I need a 2nd mortgage on my house? :)
Fun and easy to work on
Talk about diversity! I like this a lot! Thanks for sharing something completely different 🙌
BZBEAST12 very different. Very unique and purpose built
Hey there boy where’s your seatbelt? The Panoz reminds me of a Kurtis 500S or an Allard. What a cool car!
ConemantheBarbarian very reminiscent of both. Lap belts were on but only lap belts 🤷🏼♂️
Never heard of it before, but looks like a lot of fun...😊👍
Look into the Panoz background. Especially in Motorsports. It’s really incredible
Will do Shaun 👍
RIP mr panoz
Hope the company lives on producing cars
I hope for the same
I would never tell anyone where the windshield came from......
That's a nice car. I'd like to get me one.
Christopher Quinn this one may be for sale soon and has less than 10K miles
This guy is reperesenting Toronto! WE THE NORTH! WE THE CHAMPIONS!
And he’s not from Toronto which cracked me up!
Used this car but in midtown madness :D

That’s cool and very different
Review the Abruzzi!
It's not a Race Car. The company specifies its a Road Car.
Shawn just reminds me of David Gilmour, always 😩
These are so damn cool! It's what the Plymouth Prowler should have been.
The Prowler wishes...this thing is such a cool car and the Panoz history is awesome!
My dad used to work at the company years ago. The company went bankrupt in mid 2019.
Cool about your dad. I thought they still exist but more focused on building race cars?
Looks like a way better option to the Plymouth Prowler. Probably much more reliable too.
Way more car than the Prowler!
Why couldn't I have been born rich where I could buy all the cars I want?
I’ve had the same thought my friend
Are you gonna go back and look for that lost cat?
Trent H ? You lost me here
@@AutotopiaLA when u were out driving there was a blue tarp on a fence in front of a house that said LOST CAT
That’s different 👍 BUT guess what CAMARO 😁
james burke 😎 you are a true diehard Camaro guy!
Kinda I just know that’s your Camaro 😁
Very nice and special car. But NOT a racespec car ....
Morten Berg I get that. But sure seems built well to enjoy driving it fairly hard
Morten Berg did you see the Penske shocks? It’s not your average street car
Maverick 👍🖓
Pedro Fernando forward thinking team of designers and builders for sure
My Brother bought this car
Very cool!
2570 lbs according to my internet travels.
Thanks for the info. Your research is better than mine 👊
Friggin cool.. probably don’t call it cute.. it’s a mix of a bunch.. a salad.. if you will. I want one!!
It is really a great little Roadster. And it’s for sale...
500hp? Nah, more like 400 crank the 4.6 is a lame duck unless heavily modified
Williams Lisa Miller Margaret Smith Laura
Pain nose. Not Pan nose.
