You keep blasting on the license tests on both this and your GT4 review but I'll tell you what, they do serve a purpose. Back in GT4 they taught 10 year old me how to drive and I bet it's the same for many others too. They equip you with the skills needed to drive faster and faster cars. The game was beautifull, it had more than 350 (actual capable racing) cars fully detailed, MANY different real and fake tracks that were all in spectacular detail and cockpit view and all cars were fully customizable and paint-able. My guess is that after this release, they had a look at their own product and figured "oh shit, we dont have enough to satisfy our community, we might lose our hardcore racers" and starting rushing the rest of the product to stop the people from stepping over to the Xbox 360. I also remember from 2007 that Sony made multiple statements that Gran Turismo 5 would feature "more than 1000 fully detailed cars!" and such and were probably aiming at that even up to 2010, but couldnt make it true in the end which pissed many of my Playstation 3 friends off. (Because console wars etc etc, which was quite funny now that you look back at it)
If Polyphony really thought Turn10 at the time was a terrible dev, they were out their minds lol. Turn10 with FM1 already surpassed GT4 in damage, customization, and online.
Forza Motorsport 3 looked beautiful and it was made in two years and was way better than GT5 even it's car list is great including Mazda Furai and much more and FM4 pioneered it with autovista
It most definitely is. Love that they're updating the game with older car models! Especially the JDM cars - so cool seeing them reimagined in complete current-gen detail. Gives me nostalgia of playing the older games :)
What probably held them back was the complexity of the PS3's Architecture. It was notorious for being tricky to develop for. Developers eventually got used to it, but games like the original Uncharted will always show off how difficult things were at first.
@@stepladder3257 at least in Forza every car have high detailing, cockpit view and normal damage system. So yeah, keep going with your "forza fanboys"... idiot.
Because it's a complete joke to put over 700 reused low quality models from the previous 6 YEAR OLD GAME that originates from the previous 10 YEARS OLD GEN OF CONSOLES. This game took 6 years to develop damnit, and this is what we all got. Quality standards do exist. How can someone put highly detailed and high quality new models into a game and at the same time throw the old ass ugly looking mess in the mix. And the way they tried to get away with it, naming them "Standard" and "Premium", just like if it all was supposed to be like that in the first place. It's a scandal. It's pathetic.
The premium and standard never bothered me as it's about how the cars feel. I also like the fact that theres so many cars it's one of the reasons I played it so much. I dont see a problem having more cars even if they are standard. It's the reason why I never bothered with gt sport that and the watered down single player.
Yes but with the standard cars you can do up that's the whole point with GT like you can tune you're car to the Max but the problem is they need to put body kits in so you can make the car in to race cars that's what they should do
@@screwball992 I know you can do that kind of customisation on GT4 I'm sure and I think some on GT3 I have both....... Oh and I'm actually playing GT sport now funny enough... Watching this review again really highlights how much your reviews have improved lately - not that this was a bad review though. So keep up the good work
I find your reviews somewhat therapeutic. I don't know why, just some guy talking about some of my favourite games, no review score, a slight nostalgic factor and... Presto!
People out here really not getting that it took a couple months to make 1 premium car and they got over 200 of those out. Id say that makes up for 700+ modest looking cars.
@@pp3k3jamail Bruh you fuckin mad dummy. One premium car takes a while to make idk why you would expect polyphony to make 800+ fully detailes cars. Why do you think GT Sport only has like 250 cars?
True. It's unreasonable to demand all 1000 cars should be premium. Creating detailed exterior and interior models of over 1000 cars is impossible for any development cycle.
@Zidni Imani i agree I think six hundred cars wouldn't be bad and plus they could add more classics cars as Dlc and also more tracks and career races so they had a lot Time but they rushed which why I played forza motosport 3 over gt5 and got a Xbox 360 and I heard gt spot is not that good
I’ll agree with you on gt5 but gt6 was extremely underwhelming to me. It’s okay to test out some cars that you might not get lucky enough to get on the used car auction. The career was extremely disappointing too
@@JB22. I can agree that gt6 had a much more scaled back career, but the online was the cream of the crop for me. Loved tuning my cars and taking them online.
This game was my 2nd Gran Turismo game after I sold GT3 years before because I could never pass the tests. I love this game. It's way more than 20GB with all the patches and updates.
The wait for this game coming out was real, it felt like an eternity!!! This was the first GT game I ever played with a wheel (a logitech DFGT), and also the first PS3 game I ever got a platinum trophy on. Good memories!
SirCreepsAlott I agree partially... GT5 and GT6 were good in it's own right and sport has way less content (it especially sucks the OG tracks aren't there.) But it looks really well made the car sounds real feels real and suspension is finally somewhat realistic then again the entire tuning of the car is taken out and so are the body kits wings/removing spoilers and replaced with stickers... And as someone who isn't quite the GT3 fan you should be for sport there aren't a lot of drift cars... The RX-7's and supras in jdm category really... The GTR's aren't driftable sincr the torque splitter isn't there... But nevertheless it looks sounds and feels nice I like the game, but I miss the content
I played this game for years almost since it came out, the intro you mention didn't even existed until a couple of years later when they introduced a mayor update which change almost all the menus and tweaked a lot of the Dynamics on the vehicles. This game is a masterpiece, and the reason why uncharted 3 is double the size is because of the 3d videos. At the time, there was the hype for 3d screens and blurays, PS3 was no exception and they had this feature on many games, GT5 included. Problem was PS3 wasn't powerful enough, so it had to run at 720p on many games. Uncharted 3 realized this and had all their 3d videos pre rendered instead of real time graphics processing. I know this because at the time I downloaded this game and you had the option to keep these 3d files or not. I even went to the trouble of updating ps PS3's hard drive so I could test this feature.
The gt5 intro brings back happy nostalgic memories as I got massively into online racing with a group of mates I met online that made up complete 12 week racing leagues ranging from gt500, gt F1, and la man's, to name a few. Kinda miss this times tbh
Unpopular Opinion: Standard Car's made the game better. Sure, I never want to see it again... but I guarantee we will never see another car game with so many cars ever again. It was crazy thing to experience online, where everyone had a different car, and it was usually really rare because they had to find it in the used car or online dealerships.
It's a common misconception that GT5 was 1080p@60. It was actually 1080x1280 pixels stretched, rather than a full 1080x1920. And it rarely, if ever, hits a full 60fps. However, GT6 is one of the few games that actually ran at full 1080p resolution on the PS3, but the frame rate is even lower than GT5. Interestingly if you changed the screen resolution in the PS3 settings to 720p you can improve your frame rate by about 5/10 FPS for each game.
Just a small update..there's been some development in the cfw scene involving overclocking...there is a noticeable improvement in gt5(reaches 60fps more constantly at "1080 p")when running this small and safe overclock(I can confirm this because I tried it)..at 720p it stays at 60fps
Despite this review, GT5 was and still is my favorite title in the series. It's exclusively due to the Online mode. The community was fun, the races were competitive, and the car count made showing off rare or well tuned cars all the rage. It really was a fun game to play.
Despite its flaws I still find GT5 being one of my most loved titles in the franchise. I still remember the online lobbies where we’d be hitting each other to clip through the barriers on Nurburgring for the money glitch 😂 fun times.
To stay motivated in this game during a long championship, and even an Endurance Race, iPhone connects to stereo, “iPhone! Gimme some driving music.” Honestly sometimes it’s the only way I’ll keep playing. The later Endurances drag for 4, 9 and 24 hours! Thankfully you can suspend the race by pulling into the pits. The game will save and it’ll prompt you to return to the Home Screen. Next time you boot up the game it’ll give you the option to continue the race where you left off. PS: My fave tune for this game has to be “Turbo Lover” by Judas Priest, which was in the soundtrack for Gran Turismo 3.
This is a common misconception, but the standard car models in GT5 are NOT downscaled ps2 models. The models for GT4 were the same resolution as the premium cars in GT5, but were downscaled in GT4 as they would take up unnecessary file space considering you wouldn't be able to tell due to the PS2s graphics. Polyphony always do this to save development time on future titles (which is why the GT sport car models are 16k resolution but downscaled for the PS4, they will easily support the PS5 for Gran Turismo 7 and it gives them a headstart developing the cars.)
STILL Taking the piss out of the acceleration / braking driving test is showing you to pinpoint visual cues for when to begin using the brakes. Arguably one of the most critical skills in circuit racing. Now please don't bring it up in the GT 7 8 and 9 reviews
I regretted buying both GT5 Prologue and GT5. By this point of time, I think I was just tired of the repetitive nature of GT games. So much so that I skipped GT6 entirely and only played GT Sport seriously when I bought a heavily discounted copy second-hand. Fanboyism has its limits. To this day, nothing beats the fun and nostalgia of GT3: A Spec.
Tbh i disagree with all the PS2 imports. At the end of the day, it was additional content - id rather 1000 cars than 300. Genuinely GTSport nowadays is suffering for content - itd make the game so much better if they just simply mass imported the PS3 stuff, i genuinely wouldnt complain at all to have that.
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but Gran Turismo 5 is one of my favorite in the entire series. My top favorite is Gran Turismo 2 based on how much was crammed for the time it released and mainly the nostalgia.
Considering how much the inconsistency in car quality matters to you, I'm surprised you haven't done more Forza videos. They took this stuff far more seriously.
I have really enjoyed watching your reviews, I just dug up the ps2 and found my games and mem cards. Pity GT1 won't work and I've lost gt5. But loving the nostalgia hits.
This was honestly the low point in the series for me. 5 years in development and it has PS2 car models and the cars sound like ass, along with a list of other issues. As a GT fan, I thought Forza 4 was much more impressive.
GT5 was fine as someone who was a casual gamer, but than there's also the hardcore and casuals that like consistent graphics would hate GT5. obviously based off GT6 sales..half of the fanbase were ignoring it like the plague based off GT5.
@@captaincrumpet5558 That to. Sony probably knew the hype was to big for PS4 and so told Polyphony to rush it out and patch in the rest of the game. While Sony decision may have sounded smart, problem is Poly was slow with their new ideas at the time and PS3 updating was not ideal to update games lol
I miss the online mode in this game so much. A friend once gifted me a Kombi that, due to its suspension setup, would do wheelies and drive on two wheels. Fun times.
GT Sport is great, too. They even have a legit campaign mode now and still update it every month. Sure, there are some flaws with the Penalty System but they aren't big enough to stop me racing. I'm very happy with GTS.
There's this championship in gt5 that only has one rule. The cars must be french and since it's a pretty early game championship the only competition is low end hatches. You know what else is french? THE BUGATTI VEYRON
I'm really curious to know your opinion of GT Sport.... Considering the dominant Online precedence the game takes :/ Love your channel so much! Your visual presentation, pacing and the amount of detail you go into (while still being succinct) is impeccable!! Please keep it up :)
I think if I paid for PS Plus, I'd enjoy GT Sport a lot more. But I definitely love the single player portion of the game and how much more customisation there is (love love love the Scapes mode)
I loved this game and I was blown away by the looks. Yes only 200 cars are really beautiful but I think GT5 and GT6 still look better then Forza 7. It just looks so sharp and clean and the Car models ages perfectly. I love it
I ‘M a GT fan boy from GT1 right through and love the game as it was an advancement. For some reason they’ve never been as fun as the earlier ones going forward. GT5 has a few niggles for sure, like I absolutely love the variety of cars but the low quality models were a let down :( still love the game though
Interesting suggestion that Polyphony Digital should've gotten Naughty Dog to do stuff, as the Japanese version of the original PS1 Crash 3 actually lists Polyphony Digital in the credits.
I remember an online event at the 24 hr le mans track that won me about $500,000 per race. I think it was one lap and I saved enough money to buy and upgrade a 458 ferrari and just did that race over and over again.
I hope to see you review Gran Turismo Sport for the PS4! Yeah, I know it's recent, but I still would like to hear of what you have to say about it compared to the other Gran Turismo titles.
Just back playing gt3 no it isn't gt3 still the best and most fun gt game ever gtsport is also amazing but not like gt3 they miss many off the cool things now
The most annoying part about GT5 is that you need experience points to advance. So I must have raced the Nurburgring 4 hours at least 10 times before I could compete the 24 hour one. And since there was no online second hand dealer by the time I played it, I never ever found a Polyphony F1 car, so I had to skip that championship. As for the dark stages, I just increased the brightness of my TV.
I really liked GT5, you might not have gone in the options menus, but you could have custom music, Ai adjustments, and triple screen support! Not to mention multiple wheel support and button mapping. I think you’re a bit biased on this one, GT5 was a win.
I pre-ordered the special limited edition of this game. It was well put together to an extent but few things did frustrate me about GT5. I started playing Forza more after this. It was crazy to think that Forza would become the better 'simulator' and arcade racer than the previous titans, Gran Turismo and Need for Speed.
Hey Colorshed(I’m an American so please excuse my spelling of color), could you review the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series? It’s really interesting, and I hope you like it!
Why bother re-spelling his name? If someone's name is "Sofia" do you spell it Sophia then explain why? Not trying to sound like a dick or anything it's just that if you know color can be spelled two ways why bother changing it to the one that needs explaining?
I was really underwhelmed by Gran Turismo five when I first got it at launch, in 2010- But once I got a force feedback racing wheel and started racing either only in cockpit or hood car view, it became a wholly different, much more worthwhile experience!
I liked this game far more than 3 and 4. GT3 was like 'Gran Turismo Light' and felt more like an arcade game. It was missing so much stuff from GT2 and the car count was atrocious. They also dialed back the physics in that one which went against their entire motto of "The Real Driving Simulator." GT4 on the other hand was just full of issues. Most being with the racing itself. Handling issues, AI issues, insane rubber-banding as well as other cars purposely trying brake-check you or completely sideswipe you off the course. If it happened once in a while that would've been fine but it happened *constantly.* GT4 was also buggier than the others in the series. Lots of pop-in, various areas of tracks you needed to avoid because you could get snagged on them, etc.
Just putting this out there. Could Gran Turismo go open world like Test Drive Unlimited? You have your own central garage to store all your cars. You have a city and drive to Grand Valley, Deep Forest etc. Being a city could also open up street races. I would like to see more 60s, 70s, and 80s cars. Might have been GT3 with the old Subarus, Datsuns and Toyotas etc.
Had the best intro to a GT game till they changed it with the 2.0. Also I went and got the Signature Collectors Edition of the game. Still have it as well.
uncharted 3 had 20gb of 3D & 2D HD Cutscenes, of course it was huuuge but adding those 20 gigs to the extra 10 of multiplayer makes uncharted 3 a 20gb game at heart
I really don't get the hate, this is by far my favorite game from the series (maybe because was my first) but all the arguments against this game are nitpicking, ok it has a lot of cars from the ps2 era with no interior (I think) but from my point of view I prefer 1000+ cars with more than half unpolished but drivable, than just 200 "perfect" cars for a game that's in the next generation. Not to say that in terms of counted it's one of most complete (if not the most) - it has spec B, 2nd hand cars (that you need to go to a mechanic to repair and upgrade the performance), it has a good arcade mode which you can transfer your career cars for that mode to race with friends in split screen, it has some challenges that I don't remember exactly how they work, just remember if you completed all the Nascar challenges all in gold you received a free Nascar (I think), and it has a LOT of "divisions" with a lot of races and some "championships" that are a collection of races you do in order in the same division that have the same requirements to enter. Overall that game made my childhood, but I get it if you don't like if you thought that it was going to be a ps5 level of graphics game..
The biggest problem with this game is that if you want to complete the formula gt championship you have to earn over 4’500’000 credits and wait for the formula gt to appear in the used car dealership even with the trick to change the cars in the dealership it can take over 6 hours I played this game for +20 hours (with the money needed for the car) in my latest run of the game and it didn’t appear, I saw cars like the 14 million chaparrals appear 4-5 times each and the same goes with lots of other race cars Another problem is that you can’t win or buy good race cars because you can win race cars only in endurance series or in expert series but you need a race car to win those races and the race cars in the shop suck, for example I bought the Peugeot that won Le Mans 2010 and handles worse than a fully upgraded Toyota Minolta; the only other race cars you can get from the shop are 4 or 5 rally cars a lot of NASCAR cars for 500’000 credits that can be useful and the super gt for 950’000 credits. But even with those problems I loved this game (and hated gran turismo 6)
Something I always found sad about this is the "standard" cars have become the norm for PD, and with the advent of e sports and microtransactions, God knows where this series will go now.
Im curious if you do a review of gt sport or not. If so i want to know what you think. I have it and i wonder if you have the same opinion on it as me. Ps love your videos.
GT historically always had more cars every other release ie GT1 and GT2. GT5 was the one with 200 premium cars witch historically fits and than GT6 had double that. But the polygon count in the cars in GT5 and 6 was through the roof. If I had to guess I would say the polygon count for one car in GT5 is like 5 or 6 cars in GT4 combined maybe even more. While I would have preferred them working on other things instead of including the rest of the standard cars I really don't understand why people are so infuriated by their decision to add them in. People just like to look for something to complain about for the hell of it.
ColorShed: The standard cars better not happen in the next GT. *GTSport comes out everything premium and most beautiful PS4 racing game next to Driveclub* ColorShed: I don't want GTSport.
I don't like this one to be honest. The leveling mechanic is a drag and a few of the special events frustrated the heck out of me. While B Spec is kinda fun, the AI drivers I feel are underwhelming. Haven't decided if I would place it as my least favorite but I prefer Gran Turismo 6 much more
I remember loving this game for the first few weeks/months then it grew old, by that point I was no longer impressed with the graphics, handling, amount of grinding GT Sport though, one of if not the best looking racing games out there, the handling is way more responsive and involved and it’s now much easier to build up your car collection (and even customise your cars)
Gran Turismo five is one of my favorite games of all time and Gran Turismo six was just a continuation of this, just a little bit easier or a lot easier I should say? Gran Turismo five had events in it like all of its predecessors where you were not getting gold unless you went through their “bat out of Hell“ perfect!! But I have to say that is what I have come to love about Gran Turismo games over the years because not only do they have a very challenging time trials and license test but unlike a lot of other flimsy racing games, they give you dialed in pinpoint response to work with!! A good force feedback reason will and Gran Turismo five and you are in heaven if you are a gearhead like myself and love auto racing!?

Yes but with the standard cars you can do up that's the whole point with GT like you can tune you're car to the Max but the problem is they need to put body kits in so you can make the car in to race cars that's what they should do
@@benconway9010 if it means more customisation I'm all for it.
@@screwball992 I know you can do that kind of customisation on GT4 I'm sure and I think some on GT3 I have both....... Oh and I'm actually playing GT sport now funny enough... @@benconway9010 gt5 had some but I think gt4 had the best in terms of full racing body modifications
The singleplayer works fine in GT Sport now, so it counts as my favourite game (don’t attack me it’s just my opinion)
Lol keep defending this crap game sheep
@@pp3k3jamail Bruh you fuckin mad dummy. One premium car takes a while to make idk why you would expect polyphony to make 800+ fully detailes cars. Why do you think GT Sport only has like 250 cars?
True. It's unreasonable to demand all 1000 cars should be premium. Creating detailed exterior and interior models of over 1000 cars is impossible for any development cycle.
@Zidni Imani i agree I think six hundred cars wouldn't be bad and plus they could add more classics cars as Dlc and also more tracks and career races so they had a lot Time but they rushed which why I played forza motosport 3 over gt5 and got a Xbox 360 and I heard gt spot is not that good
Best selling game on the console, hire more artists!
I remember sinking hours into this game. It wasn't perfect but I loved it. Gt6 as well.
Does it have the same issue as gt6 with the updates and install struggling to get it to work
This game is such a nostalgia trip for me
All the imperfections that were listed are what made the game so good in my opinion
Another amazing review from ColourShedProductions, please keep uploading; I love your content!
The part about standard vs premium is pretty fair, but two hundred cars is enough in my opinion...
They had good diversity of premium. Not enough classic premium though. GT6 made up that at least.
yeah gt6 is gt5 with more development time, gt6 is just an objectively better game but that's not a fair comparison
The wait for this game coming out was real, it felt like an eternity!!! This was the first GT game I ever played with a wheel (a logitech DFGT), and also the first PS3 game I ever got a platinum trophy on. Good memories!
Personally I think forza/GT should put more of a focus on more tracks since vehicle lists tend to have relatively same pickings.
still an awesome video, but it would be cool if you actually answered your GT ''7'' expectations ^^
cars look so good in GTS now
SirCreepsAlott ~ You're still commenting? "They've been greedy and lazy since GT5"
What? Seriously?
Thanks for the tip, I just got Gran Turismo 5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 remix for my PlayStation 3.
It really was a fun game to play.
any idea if there are online servers still up ? like private ones
@@conandoyle1740 no
@@michaelcassy9592 they have cracke servers bro
GT5 was a masterpiece. So many options to do and the car list was ahead of it's time.
Gimme some driving music.”
Honestly sometimes it’s the only way I’ll keep playing.
Every Gran Turismo game should contain all the tracks from previous releases.
Oh the years we've spent waiting for these games..never been disappointed :)
PD was already pushing the PS3 to its limit with GT5. And uncharted has a lot of cutscenes that's why it's has bigger file size.
Stop Saying GT Sport Has Less Cars, It’s A Subsidary So It’s Mainly Just Showing How Good GT7 Could Like
@@xtremesplit1321 which i wouldnt mind.... if it were not the only GT on PS4
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but Gran Turismo 5 is one of my favorite in the entire series. My top favorite is Gran Turismo 2 based on how much was crammed for the time it released and mainly the nostalgia.
GT6 did indeed use standard cars BUT around 180-200 of them were given some serious treatment and look fantastic in photo mode 👍🏼
This game was an unfinished mess with a dogshit ui but I loved it so much.
@@TheFurryInShambles GT6 was better imo but it was launched at a bizarre time
@@captaincrumpet5558 That to. Sony probably knew the hype was to big for PS4 and so told Polyphony to rush it out and patch in the rest of the game. I miss the online mode in this game so much. A friend once gifted me a Kombi that, due to its suspension setup, would do wheelies and drive on two wheels. Fun times.

They did push the limits of the PS3 though. Thats why track everything other than the car looks so-so.
Loved this game. Remember being in my late teens early twenties playing this and MGS IV until the wee hours of the morning…ahh youth.
GT Sport is great, too. They even have a legit campaign mode now and still update it every month. Sure, there are some flaws with the Penalty System but they aren't big enough to stop me racing. I'm very happy with GTS.

@SirCreepsAlott fuck you kid you bash gts in all channels
There's this championship in gt5 that only has one rule. The cars must be french and since it's a pretty early game championship the only competition is low end hatches. You know what else is french? THE BUGATTI VEYRON
I'm really curious to know your opinion of GT Sport.... Considering the dominant Online precedence the game takes :/
Love your channel so much! Your visual presentation, pacing and the amount of detail you go into (while still being succinct) is impeccable!!

At least you can add your own music to GT5 (and 6) so the soundtrack is not such a big problem.
The reason it looks that it was rushed is most likely is that the producer of Polyphony Digital said that the PS3 was a nightmare to develop for.
That’s a bad excuse. They literally only had one platform they had to work with, not 3 or 4 like many other games
@@sumrandumguy7177 it true though if you really think about it GT6 was also in development at the same time he reckon that we won't kept waiting long
I hope to see you review Gran Turismo Sport for the PS4! Yeah, I know it's recent, but I still would like to hear of what you have to say about it compared to the other Gran Turismo titles.
These game was so fun when I bought it when it first came out. I played the hell out of it even though it did have a lot of disappointing quirks.
Gtsport is just like gt3 less cars for more details and i like it
Just back playing gt3 no it isn't gt3 still the best and most fun gt game ever gtsport is also amazing but not like gt3 they miss many off the cool things now
The most annoying part about GT5 is that you need experience points to advance.
This is still my favorite gt. I feel in love with the game.
Actually..... gt sport is way better than forza
Yes i bought Forza 3 because GT5 sucks !!!
Great review as always! The interior views missing really annoyed me at the time!
^Exactly. This isn't a matter of grammar, it's a name.

I was really underwhelmed by Gran Turismo five when I first got it at launch, in 2010-
But once I got a force feedback racing wheel and started racing either only in cockpit or hood car view, it became a wholly different, much more worthwhile experience!
I liked this game far more than 3 and 4.
GT3 was like 'Gran Turismo Light' and felt more like an arcade game. It was missing so much stuff from GT2 and the car count was atrocious. They also dialed back the physics in that one which went against their entire motto of "The Real Driving Simulator."
GT4 on the other hand was just full of issues.
The AI was terrible on GT4 it was way too easy.
Does the game show fingerprints, smudges, dust and dead skin on all the gloss black trim and display screens in the car's interiors?
No mention of the endurance races with the actual time and weather changing as the race goes on.
3:03 Happy to say it does not take that route.
People would have gone mental over ps2 models in a ps5 game
I just preordered GT7 I’m very excited 😆
I had a orange Viper SRT I tuned to drifting. It was so much fun.
Even though this was 5 years ago, I WILL NOT LET YOU SLANDER MY CHILDHOOD GAME. GT5 was Peak
Gt5 was my favourite Racing game on the psp and i played the hell out of it. The ford rs200 was one of my fav rallycars for how well it was planted
The biggest problem with this game is that if you want to complete the formula gt championship you have to earn over 4’500’000 credits and wait for the formula gt to appear in the used car dealership even with the trick to change the cars in the dealership it can take over 6 hours I played this game for +20 hours (with the money needed for the car) in my latest run of the game and it didn’t appear, I saw cars like the 14 million chaparrals appear 4-5 times each and the same goes with lots of other race cars
Another problem is that you can’t win or buy good race cars because you can win race cars only in endurance series or in expert series but you need a race car to win those races and the race cars in the shop suck, for example I bought the Peugeot that won Le Mans 2010 and handles worse than a fully upgraded Toyota Minolta; the only other race cars you can get from the shop are 4 or 5 rally cars a lot of NASCAR cars for 500’000 credits that can be useful and the super gt for 950’000 credits.
But even with those problems I loved this game (and hated gran turismo 6)
Something I always found sad about this is the "standard" cars have become the norm for PD, and with the advent of e sports and microtransactions, God knows where this series will go now.
Remember *THE CAR IS HEAVY*
Im curious if you do a review of gt sport or not. If so i want to know what you think. I have it and i wonder if you have the same opinion on it as me. Ps love your videos.
Only one Lamborghini appeared in GT3 it was the Lamborghini hiroto Nomad race car so Lamborghini kinda appeared earlier before GT5
Only in the Japanese version, as far as I'm aware.
Mine was in English it was A spec not The concept version
Technically it wasn't a Lamborghini
Journey awaits Its says Lamborghini but it was just modified by a Japanese racing team still lambo
>Gran Turismo 7
>on Playstation 4
this didnt age well
Also I believe that some shadows and shades area are too important on some tracks, at such a point that sometimes it ruins the pleasure of driving
Back in the day on ps1 and ps2 Gran Turismo was awesome but nowadays it just can't hold up. Imo Forza is the better series to play today.
Love both series, but I'll take GTSport over FM7. FM6 is great though.
Have this and gt6 never played this and really struggling to install gt6 is this worth my time more ?
ColorShed: The standard cars better not happen in the next GT.
*GTSport comes out everything premium and most beautiful PS4 racing game next to Driveclub*
ColorShed: I don't want GTSport.
I don't like this one to be honest. The leveling mechanic is a drag and a few of the special events frustrated the heck out of me. While B Spec is kinda fun, the AI drivers I feel are underwhelming. Haven't decided if I would place it as my least favorite but I prefer Gran Turismo 6 much more
GT5 is the only GT I played with any regularity
I remember loving this game for the first few weeks/months then it grew old, by that point I was no longer impressed with the graphics, handling, amount of grinding
GT Sport though, one of if not the best looking racing games out there, the handling is way more responsive and involved and it’s now much easier to build up your car collection (and even customise your cars)
The standard cars have an interior view, but everything is black. That for me screams “laziness”.
Yes becuase Polyphony can research over 700 car interiors and detail all of them in the game.
Wrong term
Its basically bad management.
Not laziness
Even in Gran Turismo PSP Flags are Moving
Gran Turismo 5 + 6 = Unnecessary
