He's a big fool if he did that because there's no way he will know when will Pacquiao lose his prime. Second, why did the first, second, and third negotiation fell off. Answer: because team Pacquiao always walk out of the negotiations. First, because they don't want to accept Mayweather's request for random blood testing and even makes stupid excuses like he's afraid of needles. Second, because they used the stupid excuse that Mayweather is accusing them of using steriods and even sued Floyd for that. And last in 2012, Arum killed the fight even before it happen. Ray Gan manny went on many interviews asking for a fight with Floyd.for him never approaching him for a fight isn’t actually true.floyd I wouldn’t say was scared to fight manny some years back before they finally did.but he was definitely letting time go by as much as possible.knowing PAC has been in many battles through the years ,floyd watched carefully knowing it was just a matter of time before manny would start slowing up a little.the drug testing was definitely something that made him look bad, that alone pushed back the fight more than anything.manny did agree to taking a test but not every week like floyd was trying to pretty much make happen and manny was said it was his religion that was against the needle thing more then ever saying he was just scared of them.his last few fights where it seemed manny was losing a step or two floyd was coming closer to agreeing for the fight to happen and once many got dropped and knocked out cold,Floyd was finally ready to agree to the fight as long as there be a rematch if he was to lose but if h wins no rematch was to take place.what type of shit is that?funny thing is the night of the fight floyd came in a lot bigger then he ever had been before.it was clear manny fought no way near th was we see here in this fight, not even close.didnt attack the same, move ain’t n out has he always fights something wasn’t right.all that is what happened, not to mention that guy who was Floyd’s fitness trainer went on record saying Floyd was taking some kind of enhancer not just for that fight but others as well.not that they were Roids but banned supplements in boxing.it definitely would have been a different fight-had they fought the years before they did.

In my opinion Manny Pacquiao is the greatest boxer to ever live. And I’m not Filipino or biased in any way. What he did in the ring is almost God like. EIGHT DIVISION CHAMPION!!! that will never ever happen again!
The amount of respect just emanating off Cotto throughout the fight with that post round 6 cheek tap and him visiting Manny's corner just to give him a hug is just insane, it's so wholesome you wouldn't think they were beating each other up just a couple seconds prior. Massive props to Cotto, he fought well and although he lost he certainly earned a ton of respect for being such a great sport.

@@randyquench8731 Bruh, clearly, Cotto can't handle Manny's speed. After exchanging punches in the early round and having knock. Cotto was hesitant to fight head on against Manny again, then he just maintained his distance on him after that. That's why Cotto's coach told him to circle Manny, waiting for that opportunity to slow him down and take the right time to come back. And guess, he did not get that opportunity, though that was a good strategy, throw jobs and maintain distance. But Manny was just tenacious, though clearly we saw that he took some solid punches and shots from Cotto too on the early round, but he did not back down and fear to exchange blows again. Don't get me wrong, Cotto is clearly a strong puncher. But Manny was just fearless and hungry to exchange blows. That feeling when the more you got hit, the more you get thirst and excited in the fight. That's the kind of fighter Manny is.
Cotto before the Margarito cheat was a different beast I wish we would've gotten that cotto vs pac mightve been a different fight that being said. Cotto and pac both clear out these new guys

I really love watching this fight! If for no other reason than to hear the commentators push Cotto as unbeatable and Manny no match for him. They obviously have no idea of Manny’s force of will and determination in the ring. I expressly like it when they have to eat their words as the fight progresses. Cotto has been one of my favorites for a long time, but Manny is a force of nature and the commentary seems not to understand Manny’s abilities and focus. I guess it’s the main reason I like to watch this one over and over.
2 of these commentators are biased towards cotto. listen to them carefully in the beginning rounds. they only see cotto's aggression. cotto this and cotto that. they're quick to downplay if it was manny. i think mario is the only guy commentating this from a more neutral POV.
one commentator seriously saying that he thinks the 3rd round should be 10-9 instead of 10-8. as if cotto has redeemed his knockdown by beating manny. god these morons!

Still after already coming up almost 50lbs, beat champions at their NATURAL weight class some of which outweighing him by nearly 20 lbs on fight night to an absolute pulp….while already being much higher than his natural weight class to begin with……That means something bruh
People are undermining Cotto after this fight, what people don't realize is that Cotto even has the potential to beat current greats like Spence and Crawford. That's how strong Cotto is. He just happened to get beat by an absolute Legend.
I don’t see Crawford or Spence beating any of these legends from May-weather,Paquiao,cotto,Marques,morales,Mosley, Barrera and the list goes on the 00s and early 10s we’re the best when it came to boxing
Except Crawford. I don't see a prime Manny beating prime Crawford. The style match up was totally bad for Manny. And No, don't expect the Crawford fight will happen. Team Pacquiao is not stupid to do that. Crawford is not a wannabe slick fighter like Thurman. He really has a legitimate skills to counter Pacquiao and a real killer instinct to hurt him bad.
@@kimdivinagracia9055 and who is Horn again before defeating Pacquiao? The guy is not even near as skillful as Crawford. Being famous has nothing to do with skills. All legends has started as nothing until someone give them chance. Pacquiao is refusing to give Crawford his chance. And FYI all boxers is protected and/or a cherry picker because that's the job of their Team. To pick the best fight for their protégé. No boxer will fight a risky no name less rewarding fighter. Everything in boxing is about risk vs reward.
I don't know how many times i've watched this fight and the moment at 38:10 still never seize to amaze me.. that was like at least a 12-PUNCH COMBO??! Unreal!
The anouncers were so hype with Cotto in the 1st 2 rounds.. but after Pacquiao knocked Cotto down, the story flips.. they now voting for Pacquiao.. by the way, im watching this even though its already 2019
that's what i've noticed in all of manny's fights. its like everybody is against pacquiao.. the referee, the anouncers, the judges except the audience. and if you watch closely, cotto has not won a single round in that fight.
There's always a moment when Pacman allows his opponent to punch him freely, and he will just absorb the blows and then comes back with devastating combinations
And that's the reason why the accusations of doping against him has some serious point. Manny Pacquiao was never had the best chin even at his best weight: super featherweight. Oscar Larios, a junior featherweight who was never known for having a killer punch despite having a good KO record, almost knocked down super featherweight Pacquiao. Erik Morales who is not a KO artist at super featherweight hurt him several times. Even journeyman Rustico Torrecampo knocked him out. And Ukrainian champion Serizkan Yeshmangevetov (hope I spelled it right) knocked him down. But at welterweight, a puncher like Cotto can't even hurt him. Heck, he was even allowing Cotto to punch him on the chin. And no, spare me of those stupid Team Pacquiao and Pactards excuse of Manny Pacquiao is simply working hard. Like power, chin is in born. Either you have it or not. This is not to say that he really did dope. I always tell Flomos that unless proven guilty, Pacquiao and even Mayweather's is as good as innocent. But to give a good explanation on why some people think PACQUIAO cheat at least during his prime.
@@hardwork3122 Almost doesn't count? Hahaha. They hurt him and yet a big welterweight can't? And you say it doesn't count. If that doesn't count then I don't know what it counts. Plus, a journeyman with an unproven punch like Magramo and a light hitter like Yeshmangevetov knocked PACQUIAO down, so it does not count, too? This is not an accusations buy simply an explanation on why people think he did dope. I am not saying he did. And in fact,I am one of Pacquiao's dependers against people who accused him of doping. Cotto is an elite badass knight in shining armour, he gave Mayweather a hard night and many are convinced about him stopping Manny but look how prime Pacquiao flipped the table turning this whole fight giving Cotto a critical settings of a survival mode.
Let's not try to pretend that Pacquiao is better than Floyd because he's not. Floyd is BY FAR the best fighter in modern boxing, and it's NOT just because of his fighting ability. Floyd is the best for many, many reasons. And he could beat Pacquiao anytime, anyplace. Had they fought at 130 or 140-lbs, Floyd would have given Pacquiao a beating. Floyd had HEAVY HANDS in the lower weight classes, and he was heavy hitter who punished guys. So Floyd is the most successful boxer in modern history. But Manny Pacquiao, because of his life's story and how he actually ran for the Presidency of his country, is BIGGER than boxing.
@@user-sg8kq7ii3y Let's try not to pretend that Floyd can never achieve what Manny has achieved unless he lives in a fantasy world. Manny is an octuple champion and if you can't comprehend what that is, it's a boxer who has won major world titles in eight different weight classes. Manny Pacquiao is the only boxer in history to have won twelve major world titles in eight different weight divisions. Until Floyd does better, he's just going to be one of the most forgettable boxers who has ever lived.

@@koponov Here's one reason why Floyd is more successful than Manny in boxing. Ask ANY pro fighter what is his ULTIMATE goal, and the answer will be "to make money" and "not to get hurt". I don't think you'll find ANY fighter who will tell you, "I don't want to make money from boxing, and I want to get hurt badly." So I think it's FACT that the ultimate goal in boxing is: 1) Not to get hurt and 2) To make money. And NO ONE is as successful as Floyd when it comes to not getting hurt and making money.

Me too ..i think the commentators are praising cotto but after manny knock down cotto the second time they already believe that manny can take his power in welterweight division..
I am not trying to be the negative guy or something, but Pacquiao got Cotto to take this fight at a catch weight. So Cotto didn’t actually come in much bigger than him. Pacquiao fought many of his fights at catch weights. So these supposedly bigger fighters actually had to come down in weight and fight him all weight drained.
Kirbs s I didn’t know that. But this was at a catchweight right? I just remember reading that Cotto had to come down in weight so Pacquiao would take the fight. Also, many other had to take their fights with him at a catchweight, like Oscar De La Hoya.
My favorite Pacquiao fight of all time: Pacquiao-Cotto.. will never forget the part where Pacquiao leans against the ropes contrary to Roach's instructions. Later Pacquiao said he was testing Cotto's power punches and said that he can take it. That scared the shit out of me and was screamig and jumping up and down our living room! Who wouldn't when Manny received a clean uppercut from Cotto I thought he might get a one-time out-of-nowhere knockout punch! Sheesh!!!
No boxer has fought everybody. There's always a couple of opponents that he did not face. Remember he never even dare to fought Hatton or Kosta at light welterweight despite sharing the division for years. The reason why he did not receive criticism over it is the reason why Manny Pacquiao didn't receive criticism about his carefully picking his opponents, his Team carefully crafted a come all comers image and Bob Arum with the help of the paid media like Hauser and Rafael is a master of that. This is not a Cotto bashing but simply the truth about the sport.
It baffles me how u can have 2 champions on 1 belt wba is conning the public about time they scrapped it now it was only brought in because of klitscho but he has long gone to call a legend like manny pacquiao a regular champion is disrespectful manny needs to fight thurman for the wba strap personally id like manny to fight Crawford or porter

LOL Even Cotto can beat both of them. Don't let this fight fool you, Cotto was a beast.

Just my opinion. I think he would beat Crawford, and Spence
Ray Gan who again is crawford?? A guy doesn't achieve anything a guy that choose his opponents?
@@kimdivinagracia9055 and who is Horn again before defeating Pacquiao? The guy is not even near as skillful as Crawford. Being famous has nothing to do with skills. All legends has started as nothing until someone give them chance. Pacquiao is refusing to give Crawford his chance.

There's always a moment when Pacman allows his opponent to punch him freely, and he will just absorb the blows and then comes back with devastating combinations
Yeahh everytime when whoever he fought on
And that's the reason why the accusations of doping against him has some serious point.
Manny Pacquiao is the only boxer in history to have won twelve major world titles in eight different weight divisions. @@koponov Here's one reason why Floyd is more successful than Manny in boxing. Ask ANY pro fighter what is his ULTIMATE goal, and the answer will be "to make money" and "not to get hurt". I don't think you'll find ANY fighter who will tell you, "I don't want to make money from boxing, and I want to get hurt badly." Stop bullshitting. I was supporting cotto in this one but most people were support Manny. I remember man.
The whole weight class thing is about battling similar sized fighters.
Sheesh!!!

Cotto is a legend. Lol not fighting hatton? Wouldn't be interested in that.

Who's here after Manny Pulverized Adrien Broner yesterday Jan 19 2019. to defend his WBA Welterwight Title? ✋
✋😂😂
It baffles me how u can have 2 champions on 1 belt wba is conning the public about time they scrapped it now it was only brought in because of klitscho but he has long gone to call a legend like manny pacquiao a regular champion is disrespectful manny needs to fight thurman for the wba strap personally id like manny to fight Crawford or porter
Me
@@17penumbra me tOo hahaha
broner talking all that shit and got his ass beat. just saying
i think this is the most beautiful fight, the bravest opponent, the cleanest fight, exciting.... highest respect to Cotto, he, I most respect among Pacquiao opponents....
Best fight was Manny vs Morales.
clashwithshanky but Cotto is way Scarier than Morales...
Boxing IQ of Manny is amazing he can figure out the opponent so quick and start making make mistakes and punish him
People should respect boxers like Pacquiao, Duran etc.. that fought a natural bigger weights and hights. This dudes making boxing entertaining....
Just imagine what a prime Pac-Man would do to the young welters of today. Damn!
He would murder them alright.
Cottoo is so nice to Pacquiao my Dad said that Cotto even went to Pacquiao's birthday i love them both so much!
Crystal Fury. Why not . after all it is a sport.
18:29 that blonde lady leftside of that oldman in front of Mark, is she an Actress??
she looks familiar..
manny is so versatile, he gets stronger the more he gets hurt which is an amazing talent. His adjustments to cotto was really slick but cotto is still world class manny is just overwhelming because he’s basically a maxed out character in all the stats
@@brothir judges and ref shut down PAC .
@@brothir incorrect but thank you for your input !
@@brothir they fought when they near 40. If they fought when they where in there late 20s or early 30s it would have been a far different fight on both ends. Defensive flaws? You don't fight. He had his style. His defense was suited to his style. He had some of the best head movement and footwork in all of boxing. Footwork is defense. He was knocked out 2 times in a career that spanned over 60 fights. Getting hit is trade you make to be a lightning fast pressure fighter. He decimated everyone in every division he fought. To say he had glaring flaws is delusional. He was an EIGHT DIVISION CHAMP lmao. Shut up

Cotto gave it all he had. If it hadn't been stopped he would have went on until he was knocked out or collapsed.
