Very cool! I’m new to the sport but I’ve been told here in Eastern Canada that this would be illegal as you can’t throw the ball up. Are there different rules in different regions?
Yes this type of serve was ruled illegal since 2022, however there are still some really cool serves you can do in this video 👇 ruclips.net/video/D_HUlzmQ1z0/видео.htmlsi=hxthmB0MAwiXzqT6
Haha Str8 wrong huh? I think players like me are going to make the serve illegal lol 😆 and thanks! Glad you enjoyed the footage. Actually originally made this video with another song but it had a copyright claim so had to switch it last minute...sucks! Still came out okay i guess
@@theoneinfinite Seriously Hah! The footage is perfect the angles are precise, totally a great tutorial! Thats unfortunate, but I like this tune along with the video too. If you need help with getting rid of fake copyright claims (which I think is what you had gone through) I just had submitted my disputes last week, and all of them got re-approved, I can always help you with that 😁
I appreciate this. I've been working on my spin serve and have the top spin, and the right spin down but have not been able to get the spin to the left. I've tried this method and the shea method and still can't get it. I'm thinking I just am not hitting the ball on the bottom right side like you pointed out.
Another way you can get it to spin hard to the left is by turning your whole stance to the left, then just forward spin it, turn back, and strike the ball. Hitting the bottom right does help, but it is not the primary influence to the “kick to the left” that you’re looking for. From my experience the primary forces that get the ball to “kick” is the amount of spin(rpm’s)you put on the ball and the intensity, height, and manner in which you strike the ball.
@@theoneinfinite Good tips. I think the reason I struggle with the kick to the left is because I naturally hit with some side spin the opposite direction and has been a tough habit to break. I've just recently experimented with the eastern grip more for top spin and that has helped a lot. I wonder if it'll help me with the left spin too.
The eastern forehand grip will most definitely help with generating more topspin as long as you are striking the ball in a low to high motion, with your wrist in full extension at contact, while also performing a windshield wiper like motion through contact, finishing over the shoulder.
@@theoneinfinite Yes, it could be for a couple of reasons. One might be because the ball is traveling with less force, when it hits the ground the ball rotation is maintained and thus transfers more to produce the kick. If it was hit harder, it would lose some of that RPM when it strikes the ground. The other factor might have to do with losing some of the RPM when more force is used when you strike the ball. A lighter touch won't affect the RPM as much.
Hmm 🤔 yeah that makes sense. Thank you for your insights, I’m going to be experimenting with this hypothesis. I will let you know what truths I discover 👍🏻
Beautiful demonstration & explanation. Can’t wait to try it. Thank you The Zen of PB.
Thank you Georgia! Let me know how it goes or if you have any questions 👍🏻
Thank you for this highly skilled, yet easy to understand video! I’m so happy you have a channel like this!
Glad it helped! Thank you 🙏
Another great video! Thanks!
Thank you! More on the way 👍🏻
Good stuff. I’m going to start practicing my snap ☀️
Thanks bro 💥

It's worthy to note that a lighter hit will tend to produce a sharper kick.
Is that so? Did not know that thanks! I’ll try it out today 👍🏻

Good job. Would love to compare our servers … but you clearly don’t live near Texas :) haha
Thanks! Yeah haha I’m out here in Cali 👍🏻
Is this illegal now?
Very illegal lol 🏓
Ya same question. Is this leagal?
Very illegal now :(
Has been illegal for almost 2 years now. I always knew they would eventually ban it! Was fun while it lasted.
Love the videos bro! Do you use discord by chance?
Happy to hear you enjoy the content! I do not use Discord, why do you ask?
