But i dont see the highlighting when i click highlighting like how do you tell whats highlighted? I see F5, and F6 etc (edit: nm i see its very subtle... like light blue vs blue on the longer bar sections.

How do you get to flex

Go into the channel rack, then click the plus sign at the bottom. It's going to show you a list of all the VSTs where you can choose Flex.
