The generosity of companies like this never ceases to amaze me. And they seem like a really nice bunch of lads to boot. Well played, Cockwells, well played.
That’s not generosity, that’s one very astute MD and a great workforce. Did you watch the one where Raymarine upgraded all Harry’s electronics, must be over a year ago? They don’t do it because they are philanthropic. They do it to keep their name at the forefront of customers’ minds.
@@PhilbyFavourites - Meh. Cockwell’s don’t need the publicity. They have a solid business. I think you’re being a little cynical. Raymarine are a worldwide company, so yeah they can afford it. But Cockwell’s didn’t have to put so much effort into it for free.
@@Liofa73very company needs publicity. Getting 100,000 or so people who are interested in boats to watch a video showing the craftsmanship and quality of your boat building business seems worth the few dozen hours of skilled work and the few hundred pounds on materials that this would have cost. It’s good business.
This really is one of the best and my most favourite series on RUclips. Equal parts nature, culture, engineering, adventure, bodging, education - great energy to the pace and editing - thank you so much ❤
Awe Inspiring craftsmanship, there are clearly some very talented people working for Cockwells and its so good to see such a positive company, doing this great work! I have followed this journey from the beginning and always look forward to the next video, thank you all so much!
The Cockwells staff are a cracking bunch of lads with exceptional skills and attention to detail. Looking forward to seeing you out on the water again. Take care out there
Your continuation of this series makes me so happy. This is TV worthy content you are putting out there Harry. Keep up the great work, I am looking forward to more videos from this incredible series! ❤
Wow , that's amazing to see Goodwin getting a new lease of life , and Cockwells, what a fantastic gesture to do the work for free in these present times , big up to all the guys that helped 👍
I don't think I've ever a smile on my face for such a long time. Perfectly shot, annotated, edited and presented. The folks at Cockwells come across as a thoroughly decent bunch of guys who clearly love their craft and are so incredibly proud of it too. Can't wait for the next installment!
I put this video on, the moment I saw it. I had intended to do a bit of work while it played away in the background, but there is no chance. I am CAPTIVATED by this series. It doesn’t matter if it’s Renault Aventime servicing, or bouncing over the waves around the coast of wales, every single time an episode is posted I am enraptured. Love love love it…. Thank you !
It just makes me SO SO HAPPY to see good people offering their resources, expertise, time and effort to help others! This was stunning to see how everyone were so kind and humble and just hard working! Goodwin is a lucky boat !
Andy & Cockwells have done an amazing job, helping you out. Wood encapsulated in plastic always sounds like a recipe for sous vide wood if water gets between the layers, presumably some boats are glassed entirely? No sandwich of materials? small jobs turn into bigger jobs, and electronics aplenty relative to the size of your boat, they’ve made a gem out of your boat, let’s hope it weren’t too crazy expensive all round, what a marvellous set of folks at cockwells.
The mention of Tally Ho in this video (another You Tube channel) made me want to see you take Leo as a co-pilot for a short leg of the journey later in the summer. If he is back in the UK this year, it would be great to see and I'm sure he would enjoy it and fit right in.
What a fantastic update, hats off to the Cockell's team for their generosity, help and understanding in giving Goodwin a new lease of life. Bet you can't wait to get it back on the water for some sea trials before carrying on with your adventure. Can't wait for the next episode.
What a fantastic episode Harry, congratulations on all the upgrades and the gang at Cockwells certainly know their trade 😎 Please don't keep us waiting a few months for the next one 😊
What a fantastic offer from Cockwells? Goodwin rides again! I always say: Good things happen to good people. You'll have to go round twice now Harry.....
Cockwells as a company, make me happy for the UK industry as a whole. They're pioneers, and seeing Dave Cockwell still hands on with the construction side of the business is amazing! Honestly hats off to the guys, and to help you out for free! Truly amazing. Keep up the amazing work guys! Great video Harry! Loved it!
Wow, Goodwin is looking really smart now! Lovely job by the people of Cocwells. The electronics is getting a bit out of hand though😄 This made my Sunday morning, mate. Best channel on youtube in my opinion.
Thank you for today's youtube upload Harry. Cockwells leverage: what a treat ! Amazing "little not so little" project. To everyone involved 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 How amazing to make all of this happen. It's a bit of a more hopeful world after watching your episode today ☀️🌊
The attention to detail that Goodwin got, and the workmanship is amazing to see. It was great to see how despite all the adventures thus far Goodwin is still holding up really well.
Was surprised when he said "vinyl ester" instead of poly. Enjoyed watching the Cockwell's crew ply their trade and professionalism. It has been my experience that no matter where in the world a waterman may find himself if he is among other watermen he is home. A pleasure to see these watermen in action.
I hope someone who is watching your series see’s this episode and if they are looking for a boat and have a healthy bank balance… they choose Goodwin’s. We all salute them. Can’t wait for the next episodes…
Always a great day when there's a new episode. So great to see such craftsmanship is still alive and well, and a company that has been so generous to help out with Goodwin. Looking forward to the end of the refit!
I really missed this show and I'm always so amazed how beautiful your trips are. WOW seeing the buffing polishing result is so nice. The boat with the two diesel motors is now on my list of what I will buy if I win the lottery.
I remember when the light boat video came out originally, and saw Goodwin on the crane at the side. So nice to see hwe being taken care of, and being brought up to new spec. Need to get her up to the Arctic!
I don’t think a word has been written to describe the excellence of the work they’ve carried out in this video. Such a fine end product across the board from their workshops!
Harry it’s wonderful that the generosity of a top line boat builder has made it possible for you to completely renovate Goodwin but then it’s not everyday that someone endeavours to circumnavigate Britain in a very small vintage speedboat, so I think it’s well deserved. Can’t wait for the next episode and hopefully sea trial.
Harry, what a fantastic episode. You've made such amazing connections. It's awesome seeing such quality work being done to the old boatm really satisfying. Cannot wait for the next episode. I am itching to know how the boat goes and how it feels
I absolutely love that this plucky little boat that has no business having this amount of time and money thrown at it is being refinished to such a high standard! Top job by fantastic people, well done.
I live in Texas now but I grew in Devon. Every summer the Dart River was where I spent all my time. I went to KEVICS in Totnes etc I competed at regattas all over the uk growing up. I loved sailing. I really look forward to every new you tube video you release. The views from the water bring back such memories for me. Sometimes you are filming in the exact place I sat or sailed years 40 ago bobbing up and down gazing or perhaps intent on a regatta race. It’s amazing how it takes me right there. Suddenly breathtaking as I see again a memory long gone. Also, and importantly! I have lived all over the place since leaving Devon at 18 years old. I learned 2 things relevant here. 1. Ya’ll’s accent is correct ! Everywhere else is wrong. 2. Devon is beautiful. It’s as beautiful as just about anywhere. Thank you !
Great to see another episode in the Goodwin saga, thanks for sharing your story. I genuinely don’t think an Avon Sea Rider ever looked this good even from new!
Well done Harry, I have a peek most weekends just hoping there's an update on your tour and this has made my day. Cockwell's are amazing craftsmen and Goodwin looks amazing
One of my absolutely favourite series on any TV media. Cockwells are an amazing group of people - demonstrated their fantastic capabilities and experience.
OMG Goodwin looks 30 year younger!! What a refurb, utterly amazing and I never knew you could sand and compound painted on Gelcoat to that level of shinyness!! We need a speed trial to see if he will go any faster!!!
Great episode - we missed you Harry! Although I don't blame you for not boating in Scottish waters in the winter. Some quality craftsmanship going on at Cockwells - that Duchy was gorgeous. Looks like an Aquarama on the hard at 18:50.
What a great company Cockwell are, brilliant people and dream boats. Goodwin looks the seal’s flippers, tactical and built for purpose, incredible workmanship. Never though I’d sit through 45 mins of a tiny boat rebuild.
At first I was watching and wondering how these companies justify the time and expenditure to help Harry but having watched these chaps work, I can totally see that its simply a fantastic advert for their expertise and professionalism. What a great bunch of fellas.
Love this series, it's always a treat when your video drops. Been watching since the foam mining. Can't wait for more summer boating action. Thanks Harry, keep up the good work and thanks to your sponsors.
Was thinking about you only last night and wondering how soon you'd be taking to the waters again. Glad you see you managed to get some pros in to fix-up Goodwin. Proper Job !! Good luck this year and be safe !!
What a treat to see all the different skilled workers applying their expertise and know how to this little rubber boat. Brilliant video and bravo to Cockwells for offering their services.
Harry’s videos always make me happy. I’ve never been into boats but I have become an enthusiastic follower of his adventures. He does seem to meet some lovely people.
So awesome Coxwells stepping up like that. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. As someone who grew up by the sea but is now a 100 mile inland I miss the coastal life deeply and this has brought me a lot of enjoyment. So thanks for keeping Goodwin alive ❤.
Brilliant job by Cockwells. Small tip - when removing a steering wheel, always leave the securing nut installed on a couple of threads. Therefore if it comes off suddenly it won't smack you in the face or fall on the ground.
Such a warm feeling from everybody involved! A perfect end to my day. Can't thank you enough for letting us see that, a big hat's off to team at Cockwells!
I dread to think how much all that astonishingly high quality work would cost if you had to pay for it! Hats off to Cockwells for their generosity......
Andy looks like a very nice bloke. And all his fellow craftsman are doing a phenomenal job. I’m really blown away by the support this projects get‘s from all these different companies. Makes me want to visit this nice island up north once more.
Whole series is brilliant but this one stands out, fair dues to Cockwells, their workmanship seems looks outstanding. Best of luck with the renovations.
Good to see you back Harry, I have been looking forward to the adventure continuing, by far the best thing on RUclips and the happy Goodwin soundtrack to accompany. What a great group of guys at Cockwells too, such talent and so nice with it. Well done to them stepping up to help too.
What an amazing offer from Cockwells, so generous. You know what a great company it is when they do things like this! Can't wait to see Goodwin back in the water, love this series and have been watching from the start.
I can only imagine if any of the original builders are around, what they would think of this refit. What a stellar job by Cockwells. Legends. Already looking forward to the IP install and getting 'er underway. Hopefully sooner than another 4 months. But take your time. It's worth the wait.
Cockwells - superb. You can see the standard of their work, because they can't help but do the same for Goodwin. Daaaaaaammmn. Never seen anything like it. Well done guys. 👍👏👏👏.
Hi Harry, And thank you for this great show of the refit of your Goodwin and yes we Dutch people love that orange color 😉of the hull looks great now I can hardly wait on the next episode of this refit

Crikey there are a few cynics lurking here!
Seeing Goodwin get a thorough and professional 21st-century refit made my Sunday. The craftsmen at Cockwell’s are clearly top-notch. Best episode yet
You took the words off keyboard
British craftsmanship at its best! A fine advert for what we Brits do well. Well done Cockwell's.
So happy to see this episode! My favourite series on RUclips.
It's an incredible series! Best thing ive seen in years

Echo that brilliant stuff Harry . And Cockwells rock !
Jonno … nicely worded 👍🏻

Harry you have made my Sunday morning with this upload, I absolutely love everything about this series. Thank you
The Cockwells staff are a cracking bunch of lads with exceptional skills and attention to detail. Looking forward to seeing you out on the water again. Take care out there
This guy should have a million subscribers, love the content and his sense of humor!
These fix up episodes are just as entertaining as the journey itself. Top stuff!
I hope that somewhere there's a 80+ year old retired Avon employee that sees this video and feels a bit of pride in a well build craft.
Having watched this video, I wish I had some dosh to spend with Cockwell. British workmanship at it's absolute finest. Not a corner cut in sight.
Your continuation of this series makes me so happy. This is TV worthy content you are putting out there Harry. Keep up the great work, I am looking forward to more videos from this incredible series! ❤

Amazing work by those craftsmen at Cockwells !!! Goodwin is a beast now !!
Holy sh*t Harry talk about winning the lottery. Cockwells rebuilding Goodwin gratis? You must be pinching yourself. Well done fella. You've earned it.

Not looking like the OLD Goodwin, looking like the NEW Goodwin! Great craftsmanship by those guys, looking forward to the next instalment 🙂👍
So happy to see Goodwin getting that sort of treatment. This is perhaps the only series on youtube that makes me smile through a whole episode. =)
The Cockwells Heroes, such amazing generosity. I don't know what I'd do without a dose of Goodwin to help me on my way.
So excited to see a new upload Harry !!!! Looking forward to watching on big screen later !!!
Andy looks like a very nice bloke. And all his fellow craftsman are doing a phenomenal job. I’m really blown away by the support this projects get‘s from all these different companies. Makes me want to visit this nice island up north once more.
Harry the dream continues for us all. A huge shout out to Cockwells the craftsmanship and dedication is impressive.
Thanks!
A very big thank you! Going in to the wine fund.
YES, Glad you are back! gonna get my coffee and settle in for this episode! Woo Hoooo
Whole series is brilliant but this one stands out, fair dues to Cockwells, their workmanship seems looks outstanding. Best of luck with the renovations.
Thank you Cockwells for the superb fitting. Thank you for believing in Harry and Goodwin. Cheers from 🇺🇸
There's some good people out there. A good result for you and safe onward journey.

Can't wait to see Goodwin back in the water, love this series and have been watching from the start.
Another masterpiece Harry. Your humble enthusiasm is an inspiration. Many congratulations.
Goodwin has never looked better. This adventure just makes me so happy.

So happy to see her get an upgrade.
Yay for Goodwin and Yay for Cockwells. Pleasure to watch craftsmen at work and good to see Goodwin looking so smart, onwards Harry!
Not even watched it yet but I’m super excited to watch the greatest British adventure there has even been on a small boat!
What a place. It's great to see master craftsmen getting their hands on the rather humble Goodwin :)
Love this series of videos Harry. Can’t wait to see Goodwin back on the water.
