@@dr.crimper1733 Website's up at the moment. I live very near and he ain't exactly in the right spot for boat repairs! Can't imagine he'll get much "passing trade" being a fair distance from the water as it were.
Ryan seems a top bloke and an absolute artist when it comes to the tubes. Hope he gets the recognition, and business, he very much deserves. Best of luck with your continuing adventure. 😊😊
Harry, not only have you given us the gift of adventure, but you have highlighted the personalities and skills of the people you have encountered along the way. Cockwells crew, Ryan, and yourself etc. This has enriched my life and I'm sure just about every viewer you've had on you channel. Thank you! You have added good to this world!
To Ryan at Ribworks, you're an absolute legend mate! Beautiful work and so glad to see you in new premises. All the best to you. Thanks Harry for sharing all of this, alwatys look forward to your videos.
Fantastic seeing all the love for Ryan in the comments...He has a bright future with his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Thanks Harry, for bringing us along on your land based adventures, they're as much of a pleasure to watch as the sea going ones.
Ribworx working some absolute magic here. So cool to see all these companies coming forward to help what I think is probably the best UK RUclips series of all time, makes my absolute day
Congrats Harry on all the new upgrades and a particularly well-earned "Well Done" to Ryan, for personally helping-out in the most extraordinary way that he has. Looking forward to the next leg of your journey. Wishing you good weather !!
Great work Ryan, Goodwin is looking great! I'm AMAZED Honda didn't get behind you and give you an engine with all the exposure you've given them. They've allowed Suzuki in to steal the finish line glory!
As a welder I admire your courage to tig weld stainless like that with no or very minimal experience on what looks like a pretty important part of your vessel lol good on ya mate
Oh man, I love this series, my favorite on RUclips. Absolutely fantastic episode. I loved watching all of the rebuilding, the boat show, the new engine. It's great to see so many people willing to help you out and upgrade Goodwin. A little bittersweet to see most of the old RIB be replaced, but very cool to see how far Goodwin has come along. Looking very sharp!
People like Ryan (positive attitude, friendly and incredibly skilled) are so rare. Fair play to both of you for keeping Goodwin going. This is my no.1 favourite YT series. So much variety! 👏👏
Absolutely dumbfounded that Honda gifted the best small outboard engine marketing opportunity in the UK for 10 years to Suzuki, with Harry able to compare that it is a quieter smoother to control better instrumented engine. Well done Suzuki.
Excellent addition to the series Harry! What a craftsman Ryan is. I thoroughly enjoy living my RIB adventure vicariously through you. Can't wait for the next one!
Harry and Goodwin back again makes my day. Gotta say, Goodwin 2.0 will be the envy of many a RIB owner. I can’t wait to watch the continuation of circumnavigation adventure.
Not only does this show case the beautiful british isles, it also show cases the amazing work of the british craftsmen and women. Harry, you should be very proud of yourself for all your hard work. Its motivated a lot of people and its clearly getting the attention it deserves. Please keep us updated of your travels and let us know when you plan to go back up the thames. I'll be 100% travelling up from plymouth to convoy back into london.Hats off to you. Well done
I love that Goodwin is a celebrity now. I also love that this series has evolved to not only teach the history of coastal towns but to highlight the amazing skilled artisans dedicated to their crafts and the great vendors willing to put themselves out there for the cause.
Goodwin is looking awesome, especially that sleek new engine, which also sounds great. Ryan is a proper craftsman, so much attention to detail, fantastic you can showcase his work and help him win new business at the show.
congrats on the upgrades, amazing workmanship. what a thrill to see my old workplace, the now derelict distant range on the portland harbour breakwater!
I’ve been watching for a couple of years and I just have to say how much I appreciate every aspect of this project. Keep up the good work, and bon voyage!
You missed a nice drone shot in nearby Lulworth Cove Harry. The free Castletown slipway is a useful place to launch a boat. I've been through the Durdle arch on my 11ft SIB, maybe a foot narrower than your RIB, and it was nerve inducing. The second time felt more comfortable.
Great video!. Ryan at Ribworks has done an amazing job on Goodwin! and well done to Suzuki and Ash Marine for stepping in and providing the outboard engine, can't wait to see the next episode of the shiny new Goodwin continuing on the journey round Britain.
So glad to see Goodwin refreshed and ready for adventure. Following every episode from afar. Wonderful to see talented inventive crafters sharing their expertise.
Harry, I have been so invested in this and I love boating. I am from Michigan in the US, and hope to one day navigate a boat through all the Great Lakes. Watching this over the years made me think, if I was ever asked to join someone like you for an adventure like this it would be a matter of seconds before I said yes! The fact that you brought along your friends to see all the sights is amazing and so awesome. Cheers mate!
Ryan is a rare craftsman as well as being a bloody legend. Stunning job, congratulations Ribworkz, and how about Ross at Exteme trailers eh? Last, and by no means least....Suzuki. Way to go Ash Marine ( what were Honda thinking?)
Great episode, Ryan is a top bloke, very skilled, If I ever need new tubes that's where I will go. Goodwin looks awesome.Keep going, looking forward to the next episode.
Wow, Ryan is a real craftsman, you can tell that because he made it look so easy. When you look at Goodwin from above, now, that zipper on the dodger makes it look like it’s smiling !, I’m sure that little boat never imagined how famous it would become. Great video, as always, Harry.
she looks absolutely stunning. just like you said: now she looks as it should be. Loved watching Ryan performing his magic art. Really happy for him that he could showcase his craftmansship here. Ryan saying "i feel like i've outdone myselfe here a bit" shows how much love he put into this project. and it shows! Goodwin looks incredible!
This is peak UK in the best way possible! Great scenery, great workmanship, great minds and great big hearts! And I'm not even en Englishman and don't live anywhere near!!! :)
Interesting Video. Look at all the trails dimming the skies causing cold and dull conditions. When are we all going to complain about the lack of Blue skies and Sunshine?
The craftsmanship in this video is beautiful to watch. From the handmade tubing to the trailer it’s built to extremely high standards. Looking forward to the rest of the journey round the country!
Wow!!! Ryan did an amazing skillful beautiful job. The boat show made me smile the whole time so many people like what your'e doing. Ha I keep updating, all the nice things people are doing for you the trailer is excellent.
That was a belter of an episode! Goodwin has evolved and looking absolutely smashin. The video production seemed to be better too but I'm no expert in such things. Just seemed much tighter in the editing. I totally forget I'm watching RUclips. Just feels like I'm on Netflix and its frustrating I can't just jump to episode next. Godda wait! Still cursing YT at that view count. This just should be in the million range. Everyone I've told about this has fallen in love with it across age ranges from teenager to elderly mum.
You have absolutely nailed it with this series, a winning combo of travel, adventure, history, boat building handcraft, boat tech and great production everytime..
Absolutely amazing craftsmanship, love all the videos watched them all multiple times, Id.love to get my sr5.4 retubed. One day hahaha keep up the great work Harry 💪, and what great people you get to meet
Ryan looks to be a real craftsman and so gentle - thanks for sharing this Harry.

A literal Ship of Theseus.

UK government should be sponsoring this entire project. Showcasing the beautiful coastline as well as maritime culture and craftsmanship.
thats kinda silly
As a foreigner I 100% agree. This series has shown me so much incredible places of the UK I didnt know existed.
