You know how when Clark Kent takes off his glasses and becomes Superman, you always kinda have that thought like "C'mon, how do ppl not know it's the same guy? He looks exactly the same even without glasses." But then when Simon can't recognize Wonwoo without glasses, it proves that Clark Kent not getting recognized as Superman is plausible.

The most common Wonwoo/Mingyu ship name is "Meanie". During training, Wonwoo was known as 'Mr. Beanie', so that's the name that stuck for that ship. Just wanted to slip that in there.
Now.... *sigh* I have to pull it together because I'm 200% a HipHop team girl. Whenever S. Coups and Wonwoo do things, my English digresses into 'demented fan-girl' speak, complete with squealing and violent air punching.
Regarding Mingyu, Seventeen still changes the choreography without telling Mingyu. He'll do the move; SVT'll do something else. The next day, they'll promise to do a move, then do what Mingyu did the day before. It's a never-ending saga.
Mingyu and Wonwoo ship is called Meanie or Minwon. They still live together.
Vernon and DK are called 218 bros because they share a birthday, one year apart. Feb 18th

16:40 Surprisingly, almost all of SEVENTEEN are actually Introverts (8-10 out of the 13 members, with Dino & Jun waffling between I & E recently...). The only 3 solid E's (Extroverts) are actually Seungkwan, Mingyu, & Joshua. New viewers to Seventeen just seem to have a very hard time wrapping their heads around it, because on the surface of most of their popular content, they are ALL so loud, wild, & rambunctious, but they are also mostly being filmed when they are in their comfort zones, like when they are all together, or during "Going Seventeen", or when they are on stage, etc., and that is when they are at their most comfortable, or when they are in performance mode. *Also, just as a preemptive FYI (since it seems to break every new Carat's brain).... Yes, both Hoshi & DK are Introverts!!! 🤗 They just happen to be the very loud, excitable, super-duper happy type of I's! 🤭

There's a pre debut song by vernon called Lizzie Velasquez where he said that he went to korea from NY after 9/11 happened cause his dad missed his hometown so if he was born in 98 and 9/11 happened in 2001 he would have been about 4 when they moved depending on months.
Edit: so I got to that bit in the video and realised you were just pointing out something they missed but I really like Lizzie Velasquez and feel like it's a song that's completly gone under everyones radar to the point that I think there's onyl 1 reaction to it and that's from 6 years ago on youtube. 45:11 LMFAO it does look staged but it’s 100% real ! Back then Seventeen recorded their own dance practices themselves and normally had a behind the scenes before and after each practice. They set up the camera to start recording the take but when they were about to start they noticed Vernon was missing! That’s actually what Seungkwan and Mingyu were talking about prior that Vernon would go into his own world (although he doesn’t as much anymore it seems) even during practices. This dance practice is for CLAP (very good choreo I suggest checking it out) also as a side note, their older dance practices are so enjoyable because since they recorded them theirselves it’s just so unserious and you see a lot of bloopers/behind the scenes.

1. jeongcheol - jeonghan and s.coups.
they are basically so close with each other, I personally think jeonghan is more relaxed when he is with him since jeonghan is the second oldest right after coups and he might think he has to take care of everyone bcs he is one of the oldest and that's why he can take rest with coups.
and for seungcheol, he kinda has that special place for jeonghan since he can be strict with everyone but not with hannie. he just can't do anything but buy him whatever jeonghan wants, it's really cute
And also jeonghan helps with leading the group, seungcheol is on hiatus currently and he said the member who can lead the group really well(whole s.coups taking rest) is jeonghan
2. meanie - mingyu and wonwoo
I don't properly know why they called meanie but as I understood it is bcs during their predebut era wonwoo always wears a beanie and his nickname back then was Mr.beanie (mingyu+beanie) idk what to say too.
as u said they were so close since predebut and their relationship just wholesome luv it so much!
3. verkwan - Vernon and seungkwan
vernon is a little shy as u saw in the guide and kwanie was that person vernon was comfortable with. like s.coups, vernon has special place for seungkwan. on the “nana tour”(one of the show where they appeared) vernon doesn't want to leave his room for some reasons and the only person that can actually enter his room was seungkwan, everyone patiently waited In the hallway.
4. soonhoon - soonyoung(hoshi) and jihoon(woozi)
they have love-hate relationship
hoshi is so hype and loud himself while woozi is quite and just stays still. woozi is always “rejecting” hoshi but he is trying hard and make him laugh everytime he can. they are so cute and hoshi just love woozi so much and woozi has same feelings just doesn't show it the same way as hoshi
5. junhao - Jun and minghao
precious friendship where to chinese guys can rely on each other and support each other. they had hard time when they came to Korea. Actually minghao knew Korean not that good and since jun was longer in Korea than minghao he helped him a lot and they became so close, and also they fought with each other so many times bcs they can do it well in their native language lol
6. jihan - jisoo(Joshua) and jeonghan aka evil twins
they just like brothers who wants to destroy whole group, especially jeonghan. he cheats everytime he can and cannot and always tricks other members, they even call him Loki or fallen angel and etc. and since Joshua was so close to jeonghan back then it's not surprising he learned all that tricks from hannie
7. seoksoo - dk and joshua
they are so comfortable with other and I love their live streams so much, I cant help but just adore them. idk how properly explain it since I'm sucking in English so help me in the comments someone

minwon/meanie are mingyu and wonwoo's usual ship names! they also had other roommates before but they both decided to move out and move in together a few years ago and they ARE still living together until now in their own apartment. ☺️
Mingyu and wonu werent roomates since debut damn shippers 😂 on their second apartment since debut (i think this was 2018 to 2021?) wonu was roomates with coups (also fun fact since coups and wonu are gaming buddies they transformed their room into pc rooms and they both slept in the living room of their apartment 😂)

So basically, it was a hide-and-seek chase game, where they turned the '96-Line members (Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, & Woozi - all born in 1996, which was the Chinese Zodiac's, Year of the Rat🐀) into 4 naughty "Mice", and all the other members were the "Busters" (or Exterminators) that had to find, chase, & capture them using water-guns. 😂

27:16 This clip is quite old and Mingyu said that he has grown slightly since then... I believe he last confirmed his height to be approx. 187.2 cm now. So usually that's the easiest way to spot and differentiate him from the others, at least until you get more familiar with his face & other features.

Finally! I was waiting for this since Your first reaction of Seventeen. Hip hop team is not just a hiphop unit but can also sing like their vocal team and can dance as their performance team and vise versa. They are really a powerhouse group. You’ll see more of this on their switch unit performances. I particularly love hip hop team’s version of Hug(rock version), Don’t listen in secret and Imperfect love of the vocal team.
The clips of them sitting down and talking about themselves or Seventeen is from Hit the Road. Its their documentary of their idol life. Its worth watching coz you’ll get to know them more and how they work and their dynamics. Although some parts are heavy but its all worth watching.

Maybe i’m just on the good side of twitter this time around but i feel like the “shipping culture” in the SVT fandom is not that big, which i like. I remember the shipping culture with BTS was HUGE and there were literal fan wars over it😂😭 Crazy stuff.
Also in the original dorms Mingyu and Woozi were roommates. Last time we heard of it Mingyu and Wonwoo are sharing an apartment. Jeonghan and Seungkwan are also still living together and they do a lot of vlives together which is really funny. Pretty sure the rest of the members live alone now

most popular ship is Jeongcheol( Jeonghan+Seungcheol aka S.Coups) and then there is Minnie aka Mingyu+Wonwoo(wonwoo is known as binnie since pre-debut because he used wore a binnie back then....)

Meanie - it came from thier duo song "bittersweet " bitter/mean for wonwoo and sweetie for Mingyu , even seventeen calls them that coz Mingyu is always all over his wonwoo hyung (Mingyu is younger )and always affectionate while wonwoo is just an introvert that is not good with expressing love (but he is good at expressing his love for Dino😂 )
this isnt 100% true! theyve been meanie since pre-debut. it came from mingyu + beanie = meanie. at that time, only mingyu's name was revealed but wonwoo was still referred to as 'mr beanie'. bittersweet was released YEARS later.

You might think this video is long, but something blew my mind yesterday. While I was watching some reactions to Babymonster's new song, I came across a guy who reacted to every EXO MV including EXO-K EXO-M versions and solos and subunits all in one 5 hour video! Can you imagine? On the one hand, wow that's incredible. On the other hand, he just ran out of EXO MVs to react to in a single day 😅
Yeah quite a few people are doing videos like that. Saves us clicks and them time when it comes to the editing. As a youtuber you can get a lot of group introductions in with those kinds of videos and then immediately go from group to group

ive seen some incorrect answers about mingyu and wonwoo's ship names so gonna comment myself. theyre known as 'minwon' (min from mingyu and won from wonwoo) and 'meanie'. pre-debut, the members all had nicknames based on various things (jun's was 'mr. blue earmuffs' LOL). when people started shipping them, mingyu's real name had already been revealed but wonwoo's hadn't and his nickname was 'mr. beanie'. so mingyu + beanie = meanie. their song 'bittersweet' didnt come out until 2021, 6 years after their debut, so their ship name definitely didnt come from that since theyve been known as 'meanie' since pre debut. hope this helps!
