The one who told the company to do that super bright light is S.Coups.He said that Carats go home late,especially on concert day and he wants the light stick to be bright as possible for carats to use.
About their rings, they actually don't remove them off camera. They still wear it unless they need to like when they are doing photoshoots and stuff. They also mentioned that whoever lost their ring should just leave the group which is a very impactful statement for me ... yet some of them has been revealed that they lost their rings, replace new ones and just said "we're still humans" LOL love them. Thank you for this! I was so excited when I saw the notification popped up. I hope you guys enjoyed throughout the whole guide!

One funny thing is whenever they list the members by age order, even though everyone else is in oldest to youngest order, they always say The8's name before Mingyu and DK but actually The8 is younger than those two. He just purely wanted to be in the 8th spot so he switched with DK. 😄
19:10 i want to highlight this part. usually when people discover svt they think of 13 members as a disadvantage, but svt have always proven in their performances (and otherwise) that having 13 members is their biggest strength because they can explore so much that other groups just can't.
Well said this is literally how I felt when I dived into seventeen they all individually bring something to the table, and not only talent wise their bond for such a big group is amazing

-DK had a musical where his role wasn't supposed to wear any accessories so what he did was he put a masking tape on the ring so it wouldn't be obvious lol
-Mingyu had a photoshoot for a jewelry brand and he had to take off his ring so he apologized for taking it off and calling it a temporary breakup
-Vernon once lost his ring and he panicked so he immediately got a new one made with his own money. turns out he left it with his mom so Vernon's mom is the only other person who has a Seventeen ring
-their company tried to sell rings as fan merchandise but carats protested against it saying the rings are too meaningful for just anyone to have. carats wanted to keep it as Seventeen only thing.
the last point is the best really, I love that carats did that!

Well about seventeen not having seventeen members is because of their debut.
SVT supposed to debut in 2013 but because PLEDIS got bankrupted it got delayed and some of them left the grp. After that members took matter in their OWN hands and they debuted in 2015. VICE PRESIDENT OF PLEDIS actually sold his house for there debut.
And about the youngest member she is correct. Just some info is that he didnt dropped out but his mother thought that he was young to be an idol and she took him out(he was 11 yr old).
About the show watching there is unsaid rule to that in caratland :-

the vice president selling his house did not happen... it's actually based on the real story of woolim's ceo selling his house to fund infinites debut but years ago a shitty news agency misattributed the story to be about pledis and svt for a reason I'll never understand. I realize a lot of ppl don't know this and it's not your fault but please don't spread this misinformation in the future. it's true that pledis wasn't in the best financial situation back then but it wasn't to that point. the pledis CEO famously said multiple times he wouldn't have debuted a group with so many members if he didn't think he could feed them when svt faced criticism for having too many members

About the rings, no they don't take those off since it symbolizes them as a team and they're not just a team on cam, even off cam you could still feel that they do love and care for each other. they even said if someone lost their ring they should leave the team, but of course they're still humans lol some members have lost it but replaced it with a new one. even mingyu's pinky finger eventually became skinny because of their rings since he never take it off. but if they're shooting for jewelry they need to take their rings off just like when mingyu shoot for bulgari, those are just some of the intances wherein they need to take their rings off but in everyday basis they always wear it whenever and wherever :))

The parents came to give the members their rings. It was incredibly emotional. The rings are really important to them and I don't know another group who has them.

Another fact is that everyone have a number, from oldest to youngest, so when managers or themself needs to check if they 13, they start couting with they number, scoups will say 1, then jeonghan 2, joshua 3,..... to dino who says 13, its funny cause they do it since predebut intil know, 9 years later

Hi, good reaction, ty. I am learning about Seventeen so finding this was fun. Though i have seen the full 3 hr long guide multiple times my memory is not great so i need to rewatch. Rock with U is my fav song from them. =0} I like Wonwoo. He cute. Was Hoshi bias because of Suchwita a drinking show on here from Suga of BTS. =0p Woozie was on it too. I am still pretty new fan. Vernon was bullied by other kids because he was mixed and he actually dropped out of middle school when he was accepted as a trainee. It’s very sad that he had to stop his education and couldn’t grow up like everyone else, he actually talks about it in the first performance clip in his section in the hiphop unit song “Trauma”. They all talk about their own struggles and his part is about how he had no friends and had to drop out of 8th grade.
It seems that his younger sister attended an international school, so she didn’t experience the same prejudice. It’s just devastating that their family had to go through that experience and realize their children can’t mingle with the other kids safely bcs society “others” them.

Other facts about them:
-SCOUPS is the youngest in the Choi family but the oldest in Seventeen.
-Dino is the oldest in his family but the youngest in Seventeen.
-Woozi is an only child in his family but he sits in the middle (7) so that makes him the middle of Seventeen.
-Woozi has low tolerance in alcohol so he doesn't drink and he has a sort of allergy reaction (reddish skin) when he drinks alcohol

Cute fact:
S.coups is the oldest in SVT but the youngest in his family, Woozi is directly in the middle in SVT but is an only child in his own family, and Dino is the Maknae in SVT but the oldest in his family.
It's a really cute dynamic because you get Coups who's a very affectionate and playful oldest member, Woozi who grew up alone being showered with love by having 6 people older than him and 6 people younger than him, and Dino who's a mature maknae and tends to be the emotional backbone for his members.

💎An important/interesting fact: Universe Factory (우주공장) is the name of Woozi's & Bumzu's studio. Is a combination of both of their names, with the (우)지 from Woozi and the 범(주) from Bumzu 💖 Both are the main composers/producers of seventeen and they have their own personal studios under universe factory, Woozi's room (from Woozi) and Prism Filter (from Bumzu).
Bumzu used to be Seventeen's singing teacher when they were trainees but they became close because there wasn't that much of an age difference. He was the one who taught Woozi how to produce professionally. And all of us carats love him so much ❤ He is known as the 14th member.

Fun fact about Jun as you were wondering about his dance background, he is actually the only member of the Performance Unit that didn't have any dance background coming into Pledis. However, he did wushu and kung fu (I'm pretty sure it was specifically those) since he was young, and some of the movements probably transferred over well.

The show with all the Pepsi logos that showed up in jun and Minghao's parts is CYZJ! you can find the episodes on CYZJ subs RUclips channel. honestly it's a show i recommend all carats watch, i think it was sort of a turning point/growth moment for both of them, but jun especially. there are sides of jun on that show that to this day i haven't seen in any of their contents, you really get to know him through the course of the show ;-;
