This can even happen in a religious situation, people love-bomb initially, gain your trust, get some dirt to "pray for you" and actually use against you (scapegoating, getting some reward for themselves, etc.) It's just a sign of a spiritual block in their own lives. We all have our own junk, no need to use it against each other. No different than flinging our own poo at others and vice versa...🙊 We can all grow if and when we really want to, when we acknowledge something that needs our attention. I hope this blesses anyone who reads this.

We have first hand experience of this. When we moved to executive end of our town, it was the people who were our best friends that became haters, literally over night. It was a massive shock. A kind of inverted snobbery. Plus lots of false rumours about how we got there. In a small town, people are soooooo willing to listen...
people use hate and humiliation to try to control you and shut you down, its their way of keeping you in line ... it can really become a motivation, easier said than done but its true, take it as a challenge...

It's not always about hate towards success, sometimes miserable people will spot a "weakness" on you, and they will pray on that to make them feel something good.
It's hard to ignore them they're acting out, lying on you, attacking you, criticizing you, undermining your progress, and intentionally disrupting your flow. Like he said, it's the people who are closest to you that show the strongest hatred. People you barely know may show negativity toward you, but you can ignore that a lot more easily. People close to you will do things like let you count on them, then let you down. Or withdraw support for some made up reason that doesn't make sense. They'll make it sound like you've done something so horrible (that may have nothing at all to do with them) and in their self-righteous indignation make it seem like they're just so upset about it, it's their job to make you suffer to learn the error of your ways. It can be quite convoluted. You'll start getting confronted by other family members or friends about the narrative about you that they're spreading. Apparently, I've had a lot of experience with haters. I usually keep it pushin', in spite of them. But I've got to be honest, I've been caught off guard thinking they had my best interest at heart, because we were so close. It's taken me awhile for me to realize just how deep their hatred/jealousy ran. It's painful when people you were the closest to turn on you when you REALLY start to achieve.

People at my schools hated me for no reason. I was usually on my own, I had lots of thoughts, I didn't socialize. And many other students hated and bullied me a lot. I'm guessing that they didn't envy me. They had their own issues and they found someone like me to pick on -- to make themselves feel superior and better... and entertained.
Trust me, you had SOMETHING they lacked (or they PERCEIVED you as having it.). A lot of “herd mentality” humans are threatened by “lone wolves” because the lone wolf is beyond their influence and doesn’t need peer validation to feel comfortable.

This is the truth!!!! My entire family chose me as the scapegoat at a very young age. I was the one who always asked "why" when I wanted to know why we do things. They always hated that I wanted to understand the purpose of things. To this day, and I am 67 years old, my family hates to have discussions at all, they do not want to understand why they think a certain way, they just want to hate anyone who will make them think.

Susana A I see where you are coming from. When you confront someone for talking or doing bad, you make sure for sure it is happening and not just guessing. You talk to the person and if they deny anything that you know. They’re pretty much lying to you. Pretending to be our friend when they have other motives. You let it slide for a little bit but after a while you may want to call the person out to see why they are being the way they are and if they still deny it, you cut that person off, because you deserve better.
Teach yourself to block it out completely. Build a wall, put the trash behind it and never even let it be a memory. Who the hell really cares what this person or that says?? They're focused on you and not themselves so who's really winning? Learning to ignore most of the haters will leave you alot less stressed out and a much lower blood pressure I suppose.

Never hate your haters back! If you find them excessively on your mind you can do this. Remove any stress build up by going for a run. The best stress buster to clear your mind. Forgive your enemies even if you have to do it on a daily basis. Pray for them to be blessed and be genuine about it. Women who PERCEIVE themselves as “unattractive” or “less attractive” than a peer will hate the target, categorizing her as “stuck up” or “snobby” or “conceited” even if the target is actually quite polite and respectful to them. In my entire life, I cannot recall a single emotionally healthy and intelligent person expressing “hate” or other maladjusted bullying behavior.

Spot on. I learned through life experiences, so much that I couldn't deny it. I have a hater every place I go. I thought people got jealous because I'd talk about things I'd try to do to be better and they interpreted it as me bragging. I'd mention that I'm failing with my efforts and tell them the flaws that made me want to be better, nope. Still jealousy, now I keep my plans and daily activities to myself, except with few people.

For 29 years I lived in a small town where the entire town hated me! I got 5 drive-by shootings, ongoing vandalism, animal mutilations etc. Two ladies, if you can call them ladies, assaulted me in broad daylight saying, "Go back to where ever you came from" & "you fit in here"! When going to the police the cops told me, "Well maybe you should think about moving"!? I left that small town with C-PTSD from the ongoing abuse. Thanks to this video, I now feel vindicated! O true, I have had people hate me because I had a positive happy disposition at work. My life wasnt perfect by any means (lots of problems) but seeming happy brought out the green monsters. Even bosses hate it, all the while preaching positivity. They love drama.

I never understood why I was so hated in college when infact I was doing pretty well in high school and then after watching your video, I realized something.. I was at the top of my class in college and like you mentioned, that got me more haters, nay sayers and bullies.. I fell into depression because of it. Great video! I watched it 3 times, to get the full meaning. As the video said, Haters can inspire you to new heights, if your intentions are good. Ive found that when they smirk at you....or talk behind your back...it helps if you just smile frequently thru their madness. That drives them insane. When you are calm, stable and mannerly towards them, it forces them to look within. If you havent yelled at them, or shot their mother, trust me, in their silent moments, they will ask themselves "Why do I hate this person so much?"

Depends on what is viewed as success. For instance I have no job, I have no car(I'm still young and working on those things), my success has put me on the path to gain what I lack. While I see those around me are jealous. Someone who used to be very close to me is jealous. I've changed my hair, my style of dressing. I have always been a handsome man. This person doesn't view themselves as handsome so they detest me for it. Another has looked up to me his whole life but doesn't like to admit it to himself. He doesn't know what he wants to be or do with his life, he is still young even more so than I and has time to figure this out, but has chosen to let peer pressure direct his energy toward negativity. Another man who is close to my family, both he and my uncle are like brothers. They had dreams of being athletes and they see themselves as failures because they did not reach that goal. Theyve gone bald and are overweight. I am young, healthy, and have a full head of hair. Success is a matter of how you perceive yourself, I think. That may be why they are jealous much in that I(from my perspective) have very little to be jealous of, yet I have many who are jealous of me and act immature and do things to spite me.
blacktee31 I feel you man I was never spoiled and my parents would literally give me nothing but yet people would always hate on me maybe because I was still calm, chill, and happy without having the things they had and they would always try to show of their material stuff and ask me why I don't get what they have. I guess they thought it would bring up their self esteem up if it made me jealous but in reality I really didn't even care to the point I wouldn't even realize they were showing off until much later. Most of the times it was ugly insecure friends who would try to impress everyone and try to have a lot of friends. I guess they thought if they had more stuff then I did it would rank them as a high status then me but I always saw them as losers/children and I always saw myself more intellectually higher than them because of that so I guess that is why I have no idea what it feels like to be jealous.

@Vanessa. I got someone who annoys me at work. Whenever I'm in earshot he'll speak in this overcompensating way. Almost begging for attention. I told him once. I'm a quite style person. So please stop addressing me unprofessionally each time we cross paths, even though it's a warehouse environment. I refuse to act like a clown at work. I guess the annoying part is, I not even getting credit for being the most productive around clowns.

This is sad but true. I had a lot more people around me when I was broke and struggling. As soon as I began seeing a bit of success, Ive had to pretty much isolate and cut people off.

It's hard to ignore them they're acting out, lying on you, attacking you, criticizing you, undermining your progress, and intentionally disrupting your flow. Like he said, it's the people who are closest to you that show the strongest hatred. People you barely know may show negativity toward you, but you can ignore that a lot more easily. People close to you will do things like let you count on them, then let you down. Or withdraw support for some made up reason that doesn't make sense. They'll make it sound like you've done something so horrible (that may have nothing at all to do with them) and in their self-righteous indignation make it seem like they're just so upset about it, it's their job to make you suffer to learn the error of your ways. It can be quite convoluted. You'll start getting confronted by other family members or friends about the narrative about you that they're spreading. Apparently, I've had a lot of experience with haters. I usually keep it pushin', in spite of them. But I've got to be honest, I've been caught off guard thinking they had my best interest at heart, because we were so close. It's taken me awhile for me to realize just how deep their hatred/jealousy ran. It's painful when people you were the closest to turn on you when you REALLY start to achieve.

Susana A I see where you are coming from. When you confront someone for talking or doing bad, you make sure for sure it is happening and not just guessing. You talk to the person and if they deny anything that you know. They’re pretty much lying to you. Pretending to be our friend when they have other motives. You let it slide for a little bit but after a while you may want to call the person out to see why they are being the way they are and if they still deny it, you cut that person off, because you deserve better.
Teach yourself to block it out completely. Build a wall, put the trash behind it and never even let it be a memory. Who the hell really cares what this person or that says?? They're focused on you and not themselves so who's really winning? Learning to ignore most of the haters will leave you alot less stressed out and a much lower blood pressure I suppose.

I thought people got jealous because I'd talk about things I'd try to do to be better and they interpreted it as me bragging. I'd mention that I'm failing with my efforts and tell them the flaws that made me want to be better, nope. Still jealousy, now I keep my plans and daily activities to myself, except with few people.

For 29 years I lived in a small town where the entire town hated me! I got 5 drive-by shootings, ongoing vandalism, animal mutilations etc. Two ladies, if you can call them ladies, assaulted me in broad daylight saying, "Go back to where ever you came from" & "you fit in here"! When going to the police the cops told me, "Well maybe you should think about moving"!? I left that small town with C-PTSD from the ongoing abuse. Thanks to this video, I now feel vindicated! I never understood why I was so hated in college when infact I was doing pretty well in high school and then after watching your video, I realized something.. I was at the top of my class in college and like you mentioned, that got me more haters, nay sayers and bullies.. I fell into depression because of it. Until today I was blaming myself and believing that I deserved it.. but your video opened my eyes to the fact that there’s indeed something wrong with them. Depends on what is viewed as success. For instance I have no job, I have no car(I'm still young and working on those things), my success has put me on the path to gain what I lack. While I see those around me are jealous.
Someone who used to be very close to me is jealous. I've changed my hair, my style of dressing. I have always been a handsome man. This person doesn't view themselves as handsome so they detest me for it.
Another has looked up to me his whole life but doesn't like to admit it to himself. He doesn't know what he wants to be or do with his life, he is still young even more so than I and has time to figure this out, but has chosen to let peer pressure direct his energy toward negativity.
Another man who is close to my family, both he and my uncle are like brothers. They had dreams of being athletes and they see themselves as failures because they did not reach that goal. Theyve gone bald and are overweight. I am young, healthy, and have a full head of hair.
Success is a matter of how you perceive yourself, I think. That may be why they are jealous much in that I(from my perspective) have very little to be jealous of, yet I have many who are jealous of me and act immature and do things to spite me.

blacktee31 I feel you man I was never spoiled and my parents would literally give me nothing but yet people would always hate on me maybe because I was still calm, chill, and happy without having the things they had and they would always try to show of their material stuff and ask me why I don't get what they have. I guess they thought it would bring up their self esteem up if it made me jealous but in reality I really didn't even care to the point I wouldn't even realize they were showing off until much later. Most of the times it was ugly insecure friends who would try to impress everyone and try to have a lot of friends. I guess they thought if they had more stuff then I did it would rank them as a high status then me but I always saw them as losers/children and I always saw myself more intellectually higher than them because of that so I guess that is why I have no idea what it feels like to be jealous.

Hate is also triggered by fear. They see something in you that intimidates or threatens them.

This is sad but true. I had a lot more people around me when I was broke and struggling. As soon as I began seeing a bit of success, Ive had to pretty much isolate and cut people off.
So true I went through this when I started my business. I lost every “friend”

Thank you for making this video. I have had a few people hate on me after I just helped them a lot for no reason and I ended up growing a grudge against them and thought about going down their level since I was so hurt. I'll make sure to deal better with these people.

I love the haters that tell me they hate me but the haters that act like they are my friends,family or loving partner now that’s deadly!!

People at my work hate on me so much that I want to leave a job that makes 150k and I’m unhappy. But I simply just want something different than them. I don’t need a 500k $ house, all I want is free time with my family. Keep strong all
