You need to adjust the dip switches on the unit. GoWesty has a starting point for settings in their instructions and TheSamba has many threads outlining dip switch settings that others have used. Nate
It will work with any vehicle as long as it has a pull type throttle body, so yes it should work on your 80. Is that carb or FI? Not that it really matters, just curious. nate

Does it also work with a diesel engine ? Should be, shouldn´t it ? Greetings from Germany !
It should work for any engine with a throttle cable so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for a diesel.
