1:51 This is not correct: It‘s an EMI-blocking choke, not a one to one transformer: A high frequency blocking choke is made of two coils and a ferrite core where L is going through one coil and N through the other coil. A transformer is also made of two coils, but they have much more windings, an iron core and L and N are both connected to one coil. At the other coil you can get the secondary voltage, which is the same as the input voltage in an one to one transformer.

I added a nail with the ends cut off that just fitted the opening of the screw and glued it in. I left a little stick out so that it holds the slider in place better. I used a tap to clean up the screw bore and I used white lithium grease to lube the screw with. Works much better now. Great concept.

I want to ask two questions and I would appreciate your answer if possible, is a lithium battery charger a switching power supply? The other question is if there are more videos on this topic. Compliments

Hello, I have a question. As a result of connecting a high current fuse to the power supply of the steam machine I use at home, I changed it because the mosfet, zener diode, ntc and 2 watt resistor on the primary floor failed. I can get 12 and 35 volts on both of the outputs, but when I connect the power board to the motherboard, it shows 12v as 2.5 volts and 35v as 16 volts, so the fan and water evaporator are not working. I also changed the capacitors at the outputs of the power board. What other parts on the power board should I check? thanks

Hi, Have a question about SMPS initial Max current an SMPS can support. If I use a 1200W Desktop PC SMPS that has common rail, and I connect all 12v together ..can I use it to power a load that takes 100A ? as soon as it powers on will it be able to support this current ?

    480watts @ even 200Vac = 3A @80% efficiency
Since it was made to run on both 110v and 220v..
at 80% efficiency with 8A fuse, the lowest possible voltage will be 75Vac..
    Conclusion:
This much supply deviation is only seen in china..
this was probably made in china

    1. 1:51. This part is not called a transformer.
    2. "The capacitors are of because they are not inflated." -> You are totally wrong. Electrolitic capacitor does not neccesarly needs to be "inflated" but still can be damaged/degraded inside.
