  • In this video I walk you through patching up a fat-tire tube from my e-bike, explaining how to remove the rear wheel with the hub motor, and how to reinstall it once the patching job is complete.
There are a few things to keep in mind when patching up a tire just to be certain you have the best chance of successfully fixing the flat. If done properly, you shouldn't have any issues with the patch leaking, as it should last the life of your tube.
A patch kit is much more affordable than replacing a fat-tire tube.
If you're not certain which kind of patch I used, you can see a set here in this link (takes you to Amazon.com): amzn.to/3QRI7V4
Handlebar Jacks I used to flip bike over to remove tire: amzn.to/3LZKHoL

Great video. What did you use to hold the bike to remove the tire?

Thanks! I used Handlebar Jacks. They're a great portable tool that attaches to your handlebars and allows you to flip your e-bike over without having the bike rest on the screen/brakes/throttle etc. I put a link to them in the description of this video.
