📜On PAPER, I’ve used Meeden and Artisto for many years, and you’ll see me use one or the other in most of my tutorials. My Meeden paper suggestion is 100% cotton, has a really great texture and is finer grade. My Artisto paper recommendation is student grade, handles lots of water, (still good for wet on wet) and is a bit less expensive.

I’ve never thought of using a flat angled brush for leaves. Unique idea to double load your brush! Love it! Beautiful painting.

Yes, It is especially good with this double loading as is the Dagger too. I Hope you give it a go, might take a little getting use to with the Dagger but with th is brush so easy! Happy creating friend!

Good morning. LOVE THE DOUBLE LOADING. The wiggle wiggle not so sure but I'll try. I did the flower card painting last night and when I got up this morning I saw a mistake I made. I think that means I'm getting better when I see something is wrong. I love it anyway and I won't tell anyone what is missing and they will never know. Tee Hee. I'll send you a picture later. So, so beautiful Debbie. I have a couple of those angle/shaper velvet touch brushes but haven’t used them much. I’ll have to give this a go soon. Working a lot in ink illustrations at the moment but will see if I can get to this. It is great practice. You can double load very nicely with the velvet touch petals brushes too, but that brush really takes some practice and patience. Blessings to you! 💗Rita

Oh? I have never heard of her. I will look her up. I use two strokes in most of the leaves a couple I leave with just one stroke. It is a fun little technique though! Thanks I will look her up..
