The first and only time I rode that portion, a groundskeeper was on the other side. He drove up on his cart and opened the gate letting me pass. I rode through the neighborhood, found PCH and rode it to the park entrance of Crystal Cove. I re-entered the park on Moro Canyon to Slow and Easy and back onto Bommer Ridge. That was fun and an unexpected “gift” from the groundskeeper.😎

Wow, awesome looking trail. Sometimes it feels great just to go out explore, find new relaxing trails and enjoy the beauty of nature. Awesome ride through. I never knew this was out there but gonna hit it just to enjoy it.

Hey Adam, I agree with your take on old Emerald being a higher Blue as there is quite a bit of chunk and small drops that may catch some by surprise.

Never taken that trail to the end like that, but might add it to the end of an old/new Emerald run… That climb out must have been fun 😰
It’s definitely worth adding it to your route! The climb out on the fire road is awful, but the adventure is worth it. ✌🏼🤟🏼
great video. would of help me when i went exploring on my analog trying to get back to my camp site. turned my easy exploring ride into a almost 30 mile , wish a had food and water ride 😂 almost climbed that fence. the guards for that neighborhood wouldn’t let be enter.
