I've been riding OC for 20+ years. How did I not know about Lizard,Laurel, and Camarillo Canyon. I need to ride these trails. Time to go exploring. I'll use this video as a map. Thanks Tony.
Great Video. I'm heading to Laguna next weekend and was looking for some trails to ride. this one looks awesome. I found it on Trailforks as well, so should be fun. Thanks
@@TheOutsiderMTB rope trail markers and smoothed it out quite a bit on the upper downhill section. Looks like it was for a race or something. Hadn't ridden it for several months. Been doing mostly Aliso lately lynx, MS, Meadow, etc so don't know how recent the change is.
Great vid! Not just for the riding but the reality check of life. I hear ya in regards to difficulties of life, but that’s life. How we work it out is the important part. I enjoyed this vid. BTW, I also ate it at the spot where you broke your handlebars. Got some good souvenirs on my arms and legs. Keep up the quality work.
Great Videos...I am a off road handcyclist who lives in downtown San Diego... any chance you will be riding any of these trails on a Saturday or Sunday in the next few months and would be willing to let me join you sometime so you can point out what trails would work best for us in 3 wheeled handcycles?
Thanks for sharing the loop! Got my first bike after watching your channel for awhile. Went straight to the loop and had a great first ride. Would love to ride w/ u when I get my skills up a bit 🤙
Tony, thanks for this. I live in Newport work in Anaheim, last year I built a new Carbon frame MTB from scratch. Been wat hing you and Alan, gave snow summit a try 2 weeks ago. My skills are not great yet, but ride Morro and crystal cove for now to get better. This loop looks like a great loop to get my skills better. Hopefully I run in to you one day, maybe out with Pupper Pip. My boy Fiddich wold love a playmate. Ps dud I remember the skate days too, I used to run with Alva and the Santa Monica crew! Another life!!!
Hey man great video moved to LA 2 years ago and just bought a Trek Fuel ex and was looking for fun trails to ride. Laguna looks awesome🤙. I appreciate the mental relief riding gives you and others who ride. After quarantine is over I hope to see you out there on the trails. Happy riding!
Thanks for sharing your ride, Tony. Life gets in the way sometimes, but that’s what bike rides are for. It’s good that you can put it into perspective. People who don’t ride bikes don’t understand why it means as much as it does to us. Cheers man.
Have to try that loop sometime. Looks like a great ride, just have to watch out for the attacking birds. Definitely agree, getting outdoors and going for a ride sure helps with releasing a little stress and clearing the mind.
Man, you love to suffer up Willow. I think I prefer Aliso more, although Mathis is probably a worse climb. Come up to LA and ride El-P and Sunset soon.
Stressed & you've only been married a mere fortnite! Well, your future looks amazing from this side of the lens & BTW; Did not see a helmet on that partridge😳
Oh, yeah, and Pip poop! We keep our cat's litter box in the laundry room...maybe Pip thinks he's a cat! Bada bing, rimshot! (sorry, I am your Dad's sister). No, seriously, it may be a sign of something going on with him that's not really evident to you. You may just want to run that by your Veterinarian. Love.
Hope your weeks gets better. Hang in there!
All good man! Just one of those weeks.
I had one of those last week. Glad MTB therapy was available for you bro.
I’m in the area for a few days from Nor Cal. Think I’m gonna check this loop out today. Thanks for the video!
👍

Have fun!
Hang in there bud...We’re with you!
Thanks! It’s all good! A good ride feeds the soul.
Fun, we rode this from CPP last night. Lizard Camarillo Stagecoach Willow Bomer Fenceline back up to CPP. They worked on Lizard, feels weird.
Nice! What they change on lizard?

Thanks John. Appreciate you being a part of the channel and sharing buddy. Yup - that spots weird because it pops out of nowhere.

When I am down your way that would be great. I think you'd be the one showing the trails though - I've never ridden SD. 😉
No I think you misunderstood ... I was looking to ride up near you ... especially the trails in your video
@@fredliebel6295 Ohhh gotcha - I'll keep you posted. I'll have to think of a few beforehand. Thanks!

Love this loop thanks to you Tony. What’s your favorite equivalent to this on the Alta/Aliso side? 🤙🏻
Check out my Aliso Trail guide. 👊😉

Sounds good and hyped this is helpful! Nostalgia for those old skate days for sure.
Hey buddy what’s the best trail in Los Angeles area that is good to practice cornering besides skypark and snow summit?
Thanks so much !
Check out Greer ranch. I’m not too familiar with the LA area tho.
My brain needs to be changed.. I need to ride
Get it. 👊
Always a great vid Tony.
Thanks Mark. Appreciate you always tuning in.
As always Great video and to better days/ weeks 👊🏼. Until next week 🤙🏼
Thanks Mike!
Great vid man!
Appreciated Michael!
How did u do on that steep ass climb at the beginning
It hurts every time but I power though it and just think about the next mellow stage. Haha
Did the loop today!!! Had a blast. That trail down Camarillo got dicey - came really close to OTB. Haha. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! You too!
A great ride and...therapy, too! Love your attitude, stay well.
Thanks again for watching! ❤️
Ooo nate-cha! Got some nice flow going on! Keep it up!
😉👊

Nice edit and content, Tony. Those are some really nice looking trails, glad you made it down with handlebars intact!
Haha thanks! Me too!
Great vid!
👊
First. Epic!

Are you still using the gimbal for the hero 8 or not anymore?
So far just the 8. Don’t see a need for the gimbal at this point. So far so smooth.
That one section on Camarillo Canyon always catches me, and I usually end up walking it. Great vid and great perspective on life's challenges.
Thanks for that and appreciate you tuning in as always.
Great vid and that's the loop that I take! Stagecoach is a hidden gem. Love it.
Such a good one!

Very true and couldn't agree more Paul.
Camarillo Canyon!! nice.
Well said Outsider. Cheers.

I do love me some willow. After that first but it’s mellow. El-P is happening soon.

Haha. Thanks. That bird was taking too many chances! That’s for sure.
Cheers to the future indeed! Jealous of the weather in CA, making me miss home! Gonna be a long winter here in CO...
Thanks! Hang in there man - amazing trails await under all that snow. 😉

Yeah we changed his food a bit ago from cancer. He might have just got his appetite back and it’s catching up with him. Thx
Shit happens....to make room for more good food! Said less crassly, without a contrast joy has no meaning.
True true.
Pip getting jealous?
I think you’re on to something Brian.
