I just want to say thanks for the great channel and content. I too am new to the area having crossed the pond 2 years ago. You have done all the hard work for me showing some great rides to try other than Fullerton which is a 25 minute drive from my location, This looks a great little loop that should suit my very average fitness level and I will for sure be heading out on it in the next couple of weeks.
That's great to hear! Really love hearing that I'm helping to broaden the trail rides and experiences through this channel with you. Appreciate you watching and sticking around. Thanks Innes.
I hope by now you have had a chance to explore more of the area. I am still learning about this area and I have been here my entire life. It is a great place to be a mountain biker.
Thanks, thanks, and that's awesome to hear Carlos. Part of the reason this channel exists is to help get our community out on some sweet new trails. ;)
Fullerton Loop and Powder Canyon are my quick rides since they are a few minutes away from me. Keep it up the good work. These commentary vids are pretty cool. I’ll have to chase ya some time. 👍🏽
Good stuff - I have a Fullerton Loop Trail Guide here on the channel. It's my local go to if I don't feel like driving to the trails. Thanks for watching Kevin!
That was a nice loop. One day you should try to ride Pacman, the hiker's only trail, while illegal and likely frown upon it's worth checking out at least once, it's very flowy and shady with a few technical section sprinkled in.
Hey Michael - I rode that trail once a while ago when they closed the top half of the park due to windy conditions and there was literally no one in it it felt like. Was really fun. I wish that was open for bikes. It'd be another great option for linking loops together from Lizard too. Thanks for watching man.
Great loop. I need to get out to more local trails. Your channel growth has been awesome man, I remember when I met you at skypark in early June you had like20-25 subs. You put up great content, the growth is well deserved my friend!
That's a great suggestion Marco. I'll add it to my list and try to work this in the next couple of months. I'm heading to Arizona next week for some rides, so maybe when I get back. Thanks for tuning in!
Does Willow Staging Area close when the park is closed? I started at Pacific Ridge trailhead this morning because I got there before open at 530am and wanted to be sure I'd have a spot. But the climb back up to my truck in the heat of morning SUCKED lol. Thanks for all your videos - major help to a new Socal resident and mtber!
Rode this today, super fun. Brutal hot sunny climb to start, but you definitely get it out of the way. That bottom flowy section of Lizards through the trees is awesome. #Tony2020
Great loop, thanks for sharing! The actual address of the parking lot is 2010 Laguna Canyon. The ref in your post is the Nix one. Would love to get a chance to ride with ya, we could try to do a channel ride!
Thanks man took down all the trails I’m going to do this loop in the morning looks fun! I’m going to start.m a RUclips to review your choice of connecting trails hahah 😂
Did you ride this trail on a week day, there was no one else on the trail? Can it be ridden in the opposite direction or is it a one way trail? I like your videos keep them coming, thanks.
Yup - I did ride it on a week day so if you ride this loop on a weekend take it a bit more easy than I did. There will be more people hiking. I'd suggest doing this loop in the direction I did. You can do it in the other direction, but you'll be missing the fun downhill sections. This loop takes advantage of the the downhills for sure. Thanks George!
Nice loop to recap is it? I’m going to do this Friday. Willow Trail to Right on Bommer Ridge / L on Morrow Ridge / R on Fenceline / R on Redtail / R on Bommer / L on Lizards / L on Upper Laurel (turns in Serrano) / R Camarillo Road / L on Camarillo Canyon / R on stagecoach to the lot? Sounds like a lot but really isn’t
I plan on trying this ride this weekend and followed along with the ride one Google maps ,and for the life of me don't see how to get to Lizard from Fenceline ,I couldn't find Lizard at all. : (
Put away google maps and download the apps Trailforks and MTB Projects. I might have just changed your MTB life with that one. Let me know what you think!
@@TheOutsiderMTB Hey I went and rode Willow Trail Saturday pretty cool ride, found Lizard, and it's in pretty bad shape right now. Thanks for trail sites. I've also been using,www.geoladders.com/routes.php?search_id=4. See ya out there, and keep up the good work.
@@TheOutsiderMTB Your right Trailfork is AWESOME!! Hey have you ever done Vail Lake ?? I'm in Huntington Beach so it's a trek for me ,but it looks incredible.
Hey man I I just started using my GoPro 9 and when I record my videos that come out perfect for Facebook or anything like that but when I download them to RUclips they become really blurry. Is there anyway you can help with that?
@@TheOutsiderMTB so I have always recorded, uploaded and everything in 4K and all my videos were great on Facebook but when I upload them to RUclips like you said it dumb them down but for some reason it didn't dumb down my last one which was also recorded in 4K my GMR video? So I tried recording in 5K but because it's 5K and uses HEVC it won't play correctly on my computer or any other computer in my house?
Hi Tony, great channel. I live in the UK and come to SoCal a couple of times a year to visit my daughter who is at college in LA. Have used a lot of your videos to find some good local rides. Your videos are really useful for those of us who don’t know the area.
Love hearing that. It’s a huge part of why I make them. I think the vids are timeless and cal help anyone searching for some new trails locally or from far away. Thanks Frank!

Fast forward 2 years and here you are closing in on 16K!
Thank you. ❤️

Your providing just what us local riders need
Awesome to hear that - I'll keep making them as long as you guys are using them. ;)
I really like how you outline every trail and let us know where to park and how to get to each trail. Not too many people do that. Thank you Tony?

Nice loop. If you want to extend it a bit, right after the Willow climb, go to Old Emerald and then continue to Fenceline...
Yup.
We did this ride this morning for the first time. Thanks for the guide!
Awesome! 👊

Fun looking trails. Good video.
Thanks Dan - just hit this loop again today to check the rain damage. Not as bad as I had thought it would be.

Coming down in June, looks a a great place to ride. Thanks!
Heading there today - you'll love it!
The Outsider MTB would you suggest this trail over Aliso Woods? Will probably only have one day to ride.
Depends what you’re looking for. This one is more mellow but very fun. Aliso is more thrill seeking - Kinda like a bike park feel.
Subscribed! Thank you for always sharing the trail guide.
Thanks for being a part of it!

Sounds like a lot but really isn’t
Sounds about right but save yourself memorizing that and just download trailforks. Follow it on there.
Thank you for your videos, my question is do you know If this is ebike friendly
Thanks for watching. I think you should be good. ✔️👊
You rockin the EVO SS? How did you get rid of the gimbal noise?
This is an old video. I don’t use it anymore. Just the 8 and 9 GoPro’s.
The Outsider MTB Did you use a lav mic? I’m rocking the 6 with the EVO. Probably get the nine soon.
Nope just the GoPro.
