What a gargantuan map! Beautiful but brutal! I love the Egyptian themed area, as well as the Greek themed area!
Great Hall by James Paddock graces us once again! Good luck for the Ending!

This feels like a repeat of Nightmare, albeit one from which you may never awaken. And this feels like you nearly died in the tenth (?) attempt that time, so consider yourself lucky. The ruins of an apocalyptic world are so wow! What a scary nightmare.

In my opinion, this map is actually more challenging than most of the levels in Plutonia and TNT. I never expected this map to be so complex - I believe it took me more than 70 attempts, 6 hours and 10 saved checkpoints to complete. There were several occasions where I had to deeply ponder on what my next action should be in order to progress further in the level.
Otherwise, this map and the music is fantastic.

Hmm.......I guess this map is not as good as I thought. 🤔At least it has great details around. Can't wait to see the final part. 😄

It is a good map, but entirely unfitting.

I never understood much about this map. I mean division what kind of name is that? I mean think about the jump difficulty its so tough. What are they throwing at you here? The resurgence maps are already tough and fun enough but this is jarring

Division is... a mess. Thematically it is entirely in the wrong slot, and it really should have followed Nightmare as map12. Though I understand why Jaska dislocated it so far down the map list. With its difficulty compared to the rest of Lost Civ, it's a lot to digest after the chill pills that maps 01 through 10 were.
Gameplay-wise it's also a mess. Once you learn what Jaska wants you to do and in which order, it's a fun rush, but the lack of signposting and intuitive design REALLY confuse players. For example, nothing clearly indicates the towers have lifts built into them, the 20-damage lava that floods the starting area discourages island hopping, and storing an armor in a secret and a megaarmor in a non-secret is downright bizarre. The Babylonian section is a bit more straightforward if you treat it as a Spanish Running of the Bulls (with you as the bull) and don't stop until you're near the blue key door where you get some stuff, but the backtracking on it is a tedium generator. And to make it worse, the monster disposal system for the beginning area is flawed at best, and *really* could have used MBF21's instakill sector function. At least the final part with the Greek acropolis is linear and easily understood.
That aside, I do like this map. It delivers a good adrenaline rush as a break from all the slow-paced sightseeing and either easy or obnoxiously long-ranged fights. Plus, move aside Poison Ivy, Great Hall belongs to _this map._ This is one of the best map/music matchups outside of Eviternity 2.

I never understood this map. It just seems so out of place compared with the rest of the WAD. It was like I was playing a completely different mod

Now it's just a question of if this or Resurgence gets finished first.
Also what is this map lmfao, it has nothing to do with any of the aesthetics of the WAD. Not even Nightmare. Bizarre.
I think the main problem with this map is how much of a complete jump in difficulty this is compared to the entire rest of the WAD. The map itself is about as hard as a mid-late game Resurgence level; yet it's in _this_ of all WADs, and the previous map was extremely easy. Hell, most of the WAD is really easy. But then it just throws THIS at you out of literally nowhere. It's jarring. Excessively so.
