Update about Maureno: He is doing well, on Monday (Tomorrow) Maureno will be back home, he will give you all an update about everything that happened in more detail pretty soon ☺️ I am happy and relieved that this nightmare is almost over and he will be home safe and sound again, thanks for everyone’s prayers and help ❤️🙏
Thank you for the step back in into 1824 Swiss rustic home., Lesley ❤️ Absolutely loved the sleigh bed, old stove to heat up the small cozy home and even like the wood stove. The cold storage is so neat and the bike is called a mopeds in America. ❤️❤️
This wooden cottage is so pretty ! I love the vintage items you found there..the postcards ,the accountancy desk , the sewing machine; Lesley, you're so funny always smelling things in abandoned places!🙂 An interesting exploration, as usual!!
Hello hello, dear Lesley, What a wonderful video again from my home country! I so much enjoyed watching you explore this really old farm house. I do agree to you, that this is a genuine Swiss farm house. I only wonder, why this location is merely left there abandoned, because farmers usually have sons or grandsons, who would take over the property, - obviously in this special case not! Although it is partially falling apart and decaying, there were still some rooms which were looking so timecapsule like, - frozen in time! - But I even had the impression, that this house was already quite advanced and therefore comfortable to live in, because they already had a bathtub, shower, etc. - Also the oven in the kitchen was not so old, and over all they had electricity, which makes a lot much easier! The underground cave with the bottles left inside was also for me something special to see, - and I also think that this cave was built in former times, when refridgerators were not yet invented, to store food and keep it fresh this way. - I loved your facial expression, when you were smelling the bottle, ..so funny, hahaha..! - This Mofa, you found in the shed, were used in the 1960ies and 80ies, and I vividly remember them. They are called "VESPA". - Wonderfully preserved living room and bedrooms! I especially liked that stove with the green tiles. - It was once more a pure pleasure to follow you and William in mind through the abandoned rooms of this farm house. - You were showing so much respect, when focussing on many details like the clothes the letters and much more! - I especially became such a happy feeling, when you said, how much you like Switzerland and exploring here. So, my dearest friend Lesley, you are of course again so very welcome at my place, when you come to Switzerland for the next time!! I sincerely hope from my deepest heart, that our dear friend Maureno could finally return home to his parents and friends! Thank you so very much for this wonderful explore, - and God bless you and your friends! - Stay safe, peace and kindest regards from now very hot and sunny Switzerland.
Once more, my soul leaves my body in Brazil to go back to the nineteenth century (lovable) and to the European contryside. How awesome it feels... I love Sundays for your unforgettable videos. Thank you very much!!!
Lesley, you’re so compassionate and kind in all your abandoned journeys. It’s so sad seeing empty spaces where loved ones once dwelled🙏🏻 Thank you for always bringing us great content 💙🙏🏻💙
Absolutely loved this authentic Switzerland farm house!!! Such hard working people!!! I was surprised to see that they had indoor plumbing!!! I loved their food storage cellar!!! I am amazed that the raw wood, which the home was constructed with, has held up as well as it has in the elements of the country!!! Sad that the authentic wooden furniture couldn’t be saved & restored 😰 The beautiful account desk’s, called secretary desks in the U.S., were awesome!!! The gorgeous wooden single, carved bed was a delight to see!!! I was happy to see that family had removed the memorabilia from the home, as that can ever be replaced!!! What a quaint, pristine, simple place it was in its day👍🙏❤️ Thank you William for being such a great friend & companion of Leslie!!! I am sooo very glad that you have been able to accompany him on his explorations around Europe!!! Most of the places that he explores, are sooo very dangerous & decayed!!! Thank you for being there for him👍🙏❤️ Thank both of you guys for sharing this & your many wonderful adventures with us!!! I’m sooo very glad that you have a van to travel in & be your home on wheels 👍🙏❤️ Thank you for all of your wonderful things that you explore, that I, being handicapped & old, will never be able to! God bless you!!!❤️❤️❤️
Hey Lesley! Sharing is caring. Thanks for sharing your beautiful videos. You are a fantastic person, a sweet and respectful young man! Congratulations!👏👏🥰🇧🇷 This vídeo is amazing!
Fascinating explore Lesley!! Especially love the porcelain stove with green tiles and the small windows that make up the large window. That single, wood framed bed is pretty awesome too! The farmer and his family must have been good decent people because the house has an all around good vibe!!
I'm relieved to hear that Maureno will finally be able to return home, I hope he doesn't feel badly or embarrassed about his experience. He's not the first person to have something crazy happen, that's why everyone says what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. 😉 I am so obsessed with Swiss architecture now, especially the way the fireplaces are incorporated into the center of the homes. It's incredible. It's such a beautifully built home. It's 200 years old and it's still fairly sturdy. I'm not going to bore everyone with my complaints about how there is a lack of pride in craftsmanship in the modern world, but they really don't build them like this anymore.
Leslie, I was born, worked and lived in Aargau, Switzerland until seven years ago. I was a community nurse and often had senior patients that still lived in those kind of houses. Often they added bathrooms in the 1960s and more modern stoves, but the rest stayed the same. Why you found bundled news papers? We Swiss bundle them for recycling! Every few months the school children in the villages are collecting them (on a school day) with their carts and we make sure the bundles are easy to handle and not to heavy! Adieu from Cape Town
Beautiful farmhouse! I loved the cellar as well as the sleigh bed and accountant's desk. It's lovely thinking about the people and the life that's lived there throughout 200 years
I love your channel and all the hard work you put into these empty places filled with memories. Thank you for giving these places new life. Sending love from Portland, OR !! 💚
Lesley, I have loved your adventures in Switzerland!!! I love their homes, they are so unique like the heating stoves, the windows, and the medicine cabinet in the bedroom! I had so much fun watching these videos!!!! It really was a step back in the past, that kitchen was amazing! Thank you Lesley for brining us on these adventures, I love to hear your explain the houses. Love ya! Look forward to your new video each week!
Thank you for the update. Lesley no one has said how Remon was taking the news is he okay. I know he was not in the US but I'm sure he is just as worried like everyone else. I love the van And your great videos. Keep up the wonderful work. Stay safe.
Your voice is so calming. I am almost falling asleep in peace and contentment, when just half hour ago I was stressed out... I love your videos thank you 😚
Leslie, do you know when you will start showing the places in the U.S.? It always makes me sad to see these homes falling apart and neglected. This home was once filled with love and laughter. Now it's just a memory we are exploring. But we learn how people lived in the past.
Hi Lesley ,your van looks cosy ,it will save you some money 💰,what a cute home ,it is sad to see it going to decay ,but as you say we don’t live forever much love Ann uk ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏
Hi Ann Smith, I hope you are well and happy and healthy. - With me everything is fine so far. Of course I enjoyed watching Lesleys video just a moment ago. - Wishing you peace and kindest regards from now very hot and sunny Switzerland.
What a charming little place Leslie. Even watching via video it gave such a calming, peaceful feeling. I am very much enjoying the Swiss locations. I had to smile when you so gently placed the farmers boots back down on the ground. The care and consideration you show these properties is heartwarming. Thanks so much Leslie, and thank William also. I can;t wait till the next adventure. Thank you also for the wonderful update about Maureno! 👍

The underground area outside was probably, in the old days, used as a root cellar for winter. Also could store winter ice in sawdust bins to keep milk and cheese. Great explore.
I just can say I’m so happy Maurenos nightmare is almost over, and he is well and soon home to his parents and friends. I do like the kid and wish him all the best in the future 🙏
@@lindatimmons3675 Maureno was arrested in Las Vegas Nevada. He was charged with aggravated assault on a homeless. He was having hallucinations I was taking for treatment. Hi Lesley & William, this is pretty decayed house, with ceilings falling in, but still had so much furniture & things in cabinets & clothes in closets...its a shame soon will all be no good! Ok what does it say on your jacket...OD OTEREN? Now entering the house love the Switzerland stoves & the wood circles. Here the Blacksmith Festivals took those circles & left the bark from trees around it, but soldered your name or what ever you wanted on the round wood circles! Yes, that motorized bicycle is here in Rantoul, Illinois USA, 3 in fact because if you lose your license to drive a Vehicle from getting caught drinking alcohol, now men are using these...haha! Yes the saying is the same here about the Horseshoe & if it looks like a U it is said to bring you luck in your house or barn, or garage! Thanks so much for another journey to Switzerland & this abandoned house!! Take care & stay safe both of you on the road & going thru the abandoned houses! Love from Rantoul, Illinois USA
Switzerland! How awesome and beautiful!! Hello Lesley! I can imagine what this beautiful farmhouse once looked like. I always get excited when you take us into another home/mansion/cottage/ today a farmhouse!! So much to see..it will always saddens me to see the owners personal belongings left behind to decay along with their home..great find Lesley!! See you on your next adventure.....😊
I always enjoy your tours of these beautiful time capsules. You are so respectful. I particually loved the heat stove. How ingenious! Please be safe in all your travels and explores.❤😮
I believe what you were calling an underground cave is a cellar. We had one in the country in Missouri like that. It is good to get out of storms too. I love that one. It was very nice. I love the way the Swiss built with wood. In the central part of the US they also build with a lot of wood like that.
I live in Missouri in the tornado belt and also have lived in Europe. They don't need storm cellars as they don't have tornadoes. They would need a warm air source like the Gulf of Mexico to get things rolling. I have no shelter here in Carthage and would have to run to the jail !!
I am happy about Maureno being home. Safe travels home!! On the house I thought it was a quaint home that at one time was filled with love. One of the best things that I enjoy about your adventures is the narrative of the tour. You really care about what you do. Can't wait to see your next adventure.
That underground storage bunker was awesome.... Loved this explore. Still a beautiful place. Loved that beautiful bed 🛌 My great grandfather had a horse shoe hanging over the doorways of his house. HE was from Scotland.
What a nice exploration, Lesley! I watched a lot of your videos and I have to say, I love to see those more common places too. I also love how affectionate you are towards the houses, and whatever you find inside. I live in an old half-timbered house in a neighbouring canton this farm house is in. We mainly heat with a similar stove from before/around 1800. There are still experts here who can maintain and fix them. To heat upstairs, the chimney was once part of a wall - now in the middle of a room so it can give off heat there too. We even have an integrated smokehouse in the attic that can be regulated from 2 storeys below in the kitchen where you make the fire for the stove. I'd soo invite you over to show it to you if you were in the country again 😅
I really like this place and the space of the rooms. To bad it will just keep decaying. Thank you for putting the top on the sewing machine, very respectful. Thank you for showing this place. Love ya Leslie
Loved that floor beam Lesley, (door step). My in-laws front door step was like this and their house was about 100 years old. Enjoyed the video, thank you and I let the ads play for you to help your fuel costs. 🇳🇿 Waving from New Zealand. 8 years! Wow, nice to see you William.
Thank God he's going to be home back safe I love the house it's just lovely is just crazy how it's this falling apart but over a house that's over 200 years old that's old and thank you 💜
I love your exploration videos and the way you explain the particular place it's details they say ''that every abandoned house says something about its past 🏠🏡" your videos on any abandoned house gives me a positive Vibes 🧘 thanks for your effort 👍👍 Love from India 🇮🇳
Hai Lesley, thank you indeed for updating us globally news about Maureno. Hope Maureno in a very good health…waiting for your new videos is such a good mood for us, as we know you will update too about Maureno…You such a great wonderful frenz of exploration around them tho…stay safe Lesley…
Hallo mr Bros of decay. Love this video of visiting this old Swiss building of abot 200 years old in the countryside. Very nice explanation you gave us of everthing you saw in this Swiss building house from the 19th century. Love to see al those old stuffs and the maindoor of the house. Will follow your other videos too, very intrested. I was watching mr Bros and your friend, your nice video from Paramaribo Suriname from Marty
I still have my 1985 Iron 🤗 Nescafe was our families favorite instant coffee back in the 60s/70s. Especially our Yiayia. Great video as usual. Looking forward to more. 😚🤗❤️
Hello Lesley! Very Cozy home for many generations lived there. Probably the second floor was built later of the first floor. They were handy people used evey space for one used util thing. Thank you for your exploration! Thank you soo much to William! 😊👍🤗❤.
You really put a lot effort on your videos . Thanks a lot for making them. I wonder why they abandon such places. The house is stunning and the place is calming and extraordinary
Thank you Leslie for all that you and your team do. I really like watching your explorations. I grew up in Montana, (USA), and we always keep our horseshoes up so the luck does not fall out, my grandfather told me if you tip horseshoes upsidedown all the luck will fall out. Have a beautiful day :-)
Point of interest; much of what you are calling spider webs are actually only cobwebs, comprised mostly of dust that tends to accumulate in undisturbed spots. They are also found in occupied homes, but housekeepers clean them away.
This is near the place where I was born… the number plate on the „Velosolex“ gave it away… I had the same on my bike. Beautiful old house, it remembers me of my grandparents homes.

Maureno was arrested in Las Vegas Nevada. He was charged with aggravated assault on a homeless. He was having hallucinations I was taking for treatment. He is of the age when many illnesses begin to manifest. I am very concerned for all these Urban explorers not having PPE. Mold and fungus can do permanent damage both mentally and physically. I have seen no other updates on Maureno.
Love the green tile stove, called Kachelofen in Germany.
I had one built in Washington State and we love its warmth.

Wonderful, thanks for sharing this cozy rural home. The wood walls and ceilings create a lovely warmth and the sleigh bed is gorgeous.
That cave was incredible! I guess when living in a mountainous region, you use the land to your advantage.
As usual, things are so nice to see in different places. Thank youl

A fantastic explore, those newspapers were probably collected to help start the fires. Great video, much love from Australia

I still have my 1985 Iron 🤗 Nescafe was our families favorite instant coffee back in the 60s/70s. Especially our Yiayia.
Great video as usual. Looking forward to more. 😚🤗❤️
Love this place. And the way you show them
I love how everything looks simple but homey as well.
Hello Lesley! Very Cozy home for many generations lived there. Probably the second floor was built later of the first floor. They were handy people used evey space for one used util thing. Thank you for your exploration! Thank you soo much to William! 😊👍🤗❤.

You seem to be a kind and empathetic person. I would have loved to view this interesting house, but I got sea sick!
I love the wooden bed in the bedroom downstairs. It reminds me of the beds in the Disney cartoon “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”

Thanks a lot for making them. I wonder why they abandon such places. The house is stunning and the place is calming and extraordinary
Che bella esplorazione queste case con queste stufe sono straordinarie non capito come funzionano ma devono scaldare tutta la casa. ..grande Lesley

School kids once a year collecting the old paper for recycling, we use it in my time for ski holiday.
This is near the place where I was born… the number plate on the „Velosolex“ gave it away… I had the same on my bike. Beautiful old house, it remembers me of my grandparents homes.
