Hi Lesley! There has never been a video explore by Bros Of Decay that I didn't enjoy. The way you present them is awesome! You bring every explore back to life. I'll always watch your videos as long as you keep making them!
Thank you! You have done such an eloquent, and respectful job. I can almost envision this family living, and loving each other inside this quant, and lovingly decorated home. Just beautiful.
Oh my gosh I love 💕 the comparison of the old photos with reality life ...people have been there Leslie standing right there where you were ...someone in time must watched record the video. Definitely and elderly home with full of memories to share.
Love this happy house. You can tell lots of good memories here. So sad where did this family go? Let' s pray they are safe somewhere. A family this large and no one to come for the belongings seems really off. That sewing box brought back memories for. me. My grandmother who is passed had a sewing box exactly like the one you saw. Wow had not seen one like that in over 30 some years. Someone in this home was a fabulous artist. And had very sweet things. All the jars vases and pretty boxes were great. Really good find and wonderful storytelling once again. Your way of doing and showing these homes is terrific. You guys are awesome. Always enjoyable to watch and listen to your take on the findings. Hey those terracotta floors were stunning as well as the unique stove. And I felt peace looking out that upstairs balcony patio. I sincerely hope this family is okay or at the least at peace. Love you Lesley. You are fantastic. Please all of you stay safe and blessings for you guys. 🙋♀️🤗💙
I have to say...this one touched me deeply. Where could they have all gone? Such a total abandonment of belongings. Its so hard to believe. Thank you for this treasure.
If only we could find out more about the family. So sad to think this was once someone’s warm and loving home. Anyways thanks for sharing this beautiful home. Stay safe!
Oh wow Lesley . An amazing home but extremely cluttered . It’s sad thinking all the memories just left . It’s hard to imagine no one claiming this home and it’s contents . I wonder what happened to them . Lesley , you’re storytelling is really wonderful and makes you feel like your there to . Your voice is mesmerizing and you were born to tell stories . I feel your passion deeply . Your an old soul who has had many lives and because of this you see the beauty of life in the simplicity of things . You should write a book of short stories , perhaps for children . Wow !!! Smiling at you. Many blessings Lesley as you continue your journey through this life . I love all your videos . What a journey you take your listeners on . Thank you so much 💙🦋😮

Im very fascinated , whereever u go ashley , ur exploration is really veryfantastic , here in d philippines no place like that in europe , how i loved ur exploration
I'm guessing that the elderly couple that you are seeing in the photos are probably the people who owned that property. The photos of the woman modeling was probably a daughter or grand daughter. All the children are probably grand children and great grand children. The decorating is very reminiscent of a much older generation. Sadly, maybe the owners passed away suddenly. Sad that everything has been left behind and forgotten by family.
I agree with that analogy. The grandparents lived there and all the photos are of their children and grandbabies. It's still sad to know that once that home was filled with a big family with warmth and love and now they're gone and the house is just fading into obscurity.
Maureno from Explomo uploaded a video about this place recently, the owner is still alive (he's in his 80s), his wife has passed away. Some of the pictures are from when his wife modeled and the ones near the fireplace are from his daughter modeling. The pics of the little kids are the owner's kids.
I agree. The tradition in France was to put pictures of yourself and your wife/husband above your bed, not of your parents (that would be creepy !). The actual owner could be the son, or son-in-law of the old lady seen in the pictures, he may have inherited the house after she passed away.
I love this place! It is sooo pristine & homey!!!! Sooo many treasures! Sad that the children don’t come back for the pictures & air looms😞 Those will never be replaced! Such a wonderful, loving, well maintained family lived here! Whomever gets this house will be sooo very lucky!!! Structurally it looks sound, so mostly cosmetic updates need done! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with us Leslie, I loved it ❤️
A family with 9 children/ grandchildren do not just disappear! Surely there must be a family dispute or something as to why the house has not been cleared, those family photos are priceless. This is sad 😔🏴
Bros of Decay know they didn't desapear! Even I know the family moved to Paris, They already had an apartment in the Capital and took their daughter to pursue a modeling career. And I don't believe they had 8 children, only 3
@@maricamila6599 Exactly! I don’t understand this ridiculous adoption of the phony super smooth voice for the videos and the constant staging of items in the home and embroidering, or in most cases just plain wholesale creation, of a storyline. The natural voice and the lovely houses themselves are enough to satisfy all but the most juvenile of viewers and anything more is totally unnecessary. Alternatively, they could actually be different and do a bit of VERY basic research and just tell the truth instead of a fanciful fairy tale. If not, they could just tell the truth and say they know nothing whatsoever about the owners! Counting one big bed and nine smaller ones does NOT mean a family had 9 children. 🙄
Yah, those older places a lot of times did only have twin beds. They never had as much cloths. So closets were smaller. The xtra rooms, were used for company, they traveled, to visit and stayed a few days. Wonder why people just leave their stuff, instead packing up , taking and selling what they don't want.
@@drmyers56 It’s very frustrating - I unsubbed for awhile, but they started popping up in my feed and I really missed the houses. So I resubscribed and things seemed a little better for awhile, then right back to it. So I’m torn - I could turn the sound off and enjoy, but then they will think everyone likes it and is okay with the deception... 🤷🏼♀️ We’ll see...
Very beautiful abandoned home.. It is amazing how everything is well kept after all of the years it has be abandoned .. Thank you so very much for sharing this with everyone.. Be safe as you travel go into the homes and buildings you all go into..
Fantastic! Charming house... I believe it was the house of the grandparents and they had all those beds for when their family came to visit... grandchildren etc... I am sure the Agent selling the house will know the history. If you find out what had to the families of these homes it would make it soooo much better!
just what I was thinking... Grandparents were the ones that got old and left but I wonder why children and grandchildren did not come at least for photos. When my Grandma went to the nursing home we cleaned her house and everyone shared the photos and some mementos she wanted us to have.
Very true indeed. Beautiful place lotsof vintage Crotchet laces etc. I love crotchet and use to do a lot of small items. The owner went off to Paris was 84 yrs old and may have dird by now. One of the fly members wants to sell of the place. Good work Lesley i am from Thane a place near Mumbai ,India and am 76 yrs of age i love to watch your videos.
That house and family is straight out of "The Darling Buds of May". I can just hear the children laughing and playing. They appear to have been very loved
I love your romantic approach to these abandoned homes and the lives of their previous owners. Which is why I think your assumptions are sometimes wrong. But,it doesn't matter because we can never know what's really going on inside someone's four walls. You are very respectful and compassionate, one old soul, a true gentleman.😇👍❤🤗
Also keep telling your stories. You keep them real and do it with great respect. And wow. You didn’t mention it but someone was an incredibly talented crocheter. All that beautiful lace work everywhere!!! 😭. Just rotting ! So sad.
What could have happened to the family that all the pictures are left, and clothes and bedding? The picture of the young couple in front of fireplace was taken in the 70s.A lot of love in that house you can tell.someone has to know something about them. Great explore.👍❤️❤️🇺🇸
This was fascinating! Thanks so much. This is what I found out about De Roze: “According to historian Milbourne Christopher, a rival Swiss magician named DE ROZE poured martinis, manhattans, beer, milk and soda from pitchers of crystal-clear water.” Apparently he was known as the “Barman.”
I love her aesthetic. It is very romantic and cozy. I must confess I am very upset by this story. How can they just disappear as if they just went on a walk? All their lifetime of treasures and memories just left behind. As always you tell their story with romance and great tenderness. Thank you for another wonderful little film about a dear cottage and it's people. Edit: So the story is explained below but it is still sad. A lifetime left behind to dust.
I enjoyed exploring this lovely country home with you. It shows it was occupied by a happy family and I hope new owners will give it a new lease to life. Thanks for walking me through it.
So many lives and hidden pasts As leaves descend on withered paths As the hands on the clock reveals Times despair collecting precious memories in seasons timeless care Remain undisturbed in the barriers Of time and space where all humanity will one day EMBRACE...
Can you imagine all the love and joy when this house was full? Many meals enjoyed around the table, even the little chairs were at the table. For me I believe the whole family lived life to the fullest. All being creative and artistic and encouraged to live life, enjoy every day and they had to be extremely close. Obviously, they all had school and studies as well. I’m sure all the children had their share of chores as well. With beds made and all the clutter for each to have their own style and picked up after themselves because the house appeared so full, but it was organized and not like a hoarders house. All the dirt, dust and cobwebs were caused due to being abandoned. They made the best of what they had, and definitely had a lot of fun and entertaining each other as well as entertaining themselves. What a fun way to grow up! Would be interesting to see what their lives are like now. Hopefully, why they left did not involve something tragic... I would love to know more! I once abandoned an apartment in my hometown, (I was pretty young and immature) I'd gotten a job in another state and would stay in a hotel during the work week. I started spending less and less time at home. Eventually I moved in with a roommate near my job and she didn't have space for most of my furniture, instead of going through the hassle of packing and moving I just replaced everything I needed and never went back for the rest. Obviously I didn't own the apartment so I'm sure some poor cleaning crew had to get rid of all my stuff for me but if it had a been a home I'd inherited or something it might have just remained untouched and decaying full of all my furniture and belongings. Sometimes I wonder if that's the case with some of these big houses full of stuff. Maybe a descendant inherited the property and didn't care enough to deal with the hassle of packing everything up
I love traveling through time with you guys. It's awesome you guys bring theses mansions or homes into the four front for everyone to watch and enjoy! Great finds! Thanks! Stay safe healthy and blessed 😊 SoCal

Uncle, uncle! Caveat- i appreciate taking a moment to explain that you do the very best you can to research your places of exploration by talking to local folk and due diligence on learning the history of a given property. Hats off. You are doing your very best. It is however at times comical and highly entertaining when you give yourself creative artist's license to fill in the gaps. I am 65 yrs old with vast experience in life and as a building contractor, realtor and bronze sculptor/artist with an appreciation of the classics and nice things. I know that life experience or the lack thereof plays a large part in your effectiveness in bringing your audience a satisfactory presentation. As I have said before, the more you learn about architecture, finishes, art, history or bring on board those experts who know... the more credible you become. Not sure if this is a summer side hustle in and around university or a solid career pursuit. One thing for sure, unlike a vast majority of your Millennial peers, you have emerged from your parents basement, discarded your dirty skivvies and are actually exploring the world around you triumphantly. World of respect for all your efforts. Bros of Decay absolutely rock!
Work at it and it will happen. It took me a long time and finally I was able to buy a small house. But be careful that you’re not buying someone else’s problem house.
The floor is incredible. I can see in the evening, all the family is settled down. Mom or granmom is sewing and fixing clothing etc. Dad talking about the world's happenings and kissing and hugging each child off to bed.

@@theresa_lili that is not Necessarily true in all cases. Plus why would he come back and pack after the stuff sat there for years and years. There is massive amounts of spider webs and dust. He probably doesn't ever want any of it again for some sad reason.
What a nice family sharing fun times in the photos.
This is one of the most interesting and heart warming stories you have presented! No need to worry about being 100% right regarding the people and their lives, you manage to put all the pieces of the puzzle together by the end of your explorations and offer us the closest to reality version of the stories behing the videos! Keep doing your beautiful work!👏
Your story telling about what things may have been like just brings the whole house to life! And you tell it so well and with such passion. I would love to live in a house like that. They sure don't make them like they used to! Beautiful video.❤
Nice words Kessier , how are you doing ?
Hi Lesley! There has never been a video explore by Bros Of Decay that I didn't enjoy. The way you present them is awesome! You bring every explore back to life. I'll always watch your videos as long as you keep making them!
De Roze was a magician (illusionniste) who toured the greatest European music halls around 1930.
Cannot find who you are referring to. Any more information about him?
@@littlelamb56 No, I couldn't find anymore information about De Roze. The only reference I got was from a music hall poster advertised in a sale.
So cool!!!

The Family whom heritage the house, live in Paris. The House is for sale.
Thank you! You have done such an eloquent, and respectful job. I can almost envision this family living, and loving each other inside this quant, and lovingly decorated home. Just beautiful.
I can just hear the laughter of old and young being heard throughout this house, what a loving place, Love you
Hello, Bros of Decay! Excited to see this one!
Thank you so much 💙🦋😮
Something had to happen to this family, and not very long ago. If you find out, let us know. Granny from the US is watching my boys!
Nice words Donna , how are you doing ?
So beautiful. You can tell they loved each other very much.
All the items make this place SO interesting!
With so many children, it's strange why none of them came to claim some items from their house.
My Thoughts Exactly!
-Of 9 Children?😳
NOT ONE… Came back?
My favorite video, I can feel the love in this home. Thanks for sharing!
About your assumptions. My wife and I love them. Sure some may not be 100% right. But they are always refreshing. Keep it up!
What a lovely lovely place! I pray that somehow this family is somewhere doing fine!
I watched a few of your video sequences they are always a joy to watch. Everyone has a life and story and you warmly express the passion for telling them and it brings more to the show than anything you are viewing. Careful and precise in your developing story would draws anyone into the scene. Having worked in Hollywood for many years it is fresh to watch and you are the real interest. Cut.
Wow! This home had more love and personality than 25 other homes combined, So hard to believe a child is not treasuring everything this mother loved including all those photos. You did an amazing job showing all the details. I loved this explore. Thank you.
Hear the rooster in the background just lovely!
What a beautiful house , overflowing with love ...This house will never be empty, it is full of the joy of every child and parent who lived there..
I just started watching you
I find coming home from crazy day at work
You take me on a mini vacation !!
I love your videos and your right
You can’t do good for everyone - I really hope people don’t complain in comments
Anyway
Thank you
I adore your stories! There is something poetic and beautifully romantic about them. You make heartwarming assumptions! Keep up the good work!
When entering an abandoned home I just imagine the love , the food and the bed time stories Nana and Popa told their kids at nighttime ❤️
The same I'm thinking!

And don't forget the cops...Trespassing
I'm totally addicted to your videos..these give me goosebumps..whenever I'm free, just play these videos..Those beautiful places and your mesmerising voice take me into another world..I love to flow with emotions..Hope wherever they're now, they're doing well..yet another legendary documentary..👍👍🙏🙏

Very beatiful home, very very childrens , very foto and very rooms, desks, books, toys .
Very very very thank you.👍🏆👏👏👏
the house is abandoned yet it's so happening. Also while viewing an abandoned house one gets spooky vibes but this house has so much warmth and loving energy . Where did such a living family vanish leaving such beautiful memories behin

Exquisitely beautiful, 70's bohemian lifestyle. Bros of Decay, it is awesome that you have preserved the historical significance of this place for future generations!! 😊
Same here seen it 4 days ago. Beautiful home,ya'll need to get together with " explomo"
I always like to see Leslie taking videos and story telling the building, Leslie always being polite and careful. Anyway, this house is really amazing. Good job Leslie!
What a beautiful place! Always makes me wonder how they could leave all their stuff behind especially photos! Thank you!
@@poojithacheeti6495 Do you have the link please? thank you.
I agree. The tradition in France was to put pictures of yourself and your wife/husband above your bed, not of your parents (that would be creepy !). The actual owner could be the son, or son-in-law of the old lady seen in the pictures, he may have inherited the house after she passed away.
Plus the letters and one drawing are for "Moune" or "Maminou" (?), which means "Grand-ma".
And I don't believe they had 8 children, only 3
@@maricamila6599
Exactly!
@@Lucinda_Jackson I've wondered the same things.. If you don't know, just go quite.. These stories! I've started to just mute.
@@drmyers56
It’s very frustrating - I unsubbed for awhile, but they started popping up in my feed and I really missed the houses.
This is a truly fascinating house. Thank you so much for showing it to us in such detail. Beautiful!
22:17 You so kind and have so much respect even for the stuffed animals you find ❤️🤗
We have to pray for this family what happened to them😇
It's a mystery that they left so much behind. Thank you. We love you too.
Nice story and cottage home, France is beautiful!
It feels like the family could come back at any moment ! nice video as always
This is what I found out about De Roze: “According to historian Milbourne Christopher, a rival Swiss magician named DE ROZE poured martinis, manhattans, beer, milk and soda from pitchers of crystal-clear water.”
Apparently he was known as the “Barman.”
The white lace coverlets and curtains in this house are beautiful
I wondered how dried out they were. The cotton would be very fragile.

Are you a writer? What you wrote is so eloquent!!
Loved this video..Bros of Decay are always my favorite. 💖💕😉🎶✨🙏🏼😎🌸🌠💟☮️ Be safe and continue to love and enjoy what y’all do!! Your empathetic viewpoints enhances the narration of your videos. Love it. It adds to the authenticity of the place you are filming. Thank you for sharing your passion for deserted and abandoned properties. I really do appreciate. X

Since I was a child until now I am praying to have our own house, that's why when I am watching abandoned house series I feel sad.
