This journey is going to lead us deep into the frozen wastelands of Canada, the temperature during this exploration reached well below the freezing point. In this barren landscape far away from civilization the ward family used to live, it was a family of 3, Mister Ross, his wife Petra, and their loving daughter Diana. Mister Ross had a lifelong passion for clock making and the remains of his business are still present inside the house, he was a true craftsman and made numerous masterpieces from start to finish. Petra on the other hand was a housewife and cared for her family all her life. They were a postcard family, and it is to be seen throughout the house! It has been a long time since the house has been lived in, Diana her parents passed away around the turn of the millennium, and this left Diana alone who used to always live with her parents, after living here alone for around a decade her physical conditions was not well enough anymore to live in such a cold and remote part of Canada. At this point in time, she resides in a care home far away from the house and is unable to ever visit it again.
All their memories are locked inside, acting like a portal that will give us a glips into their former lives.

I'm Canadian 🇨🇦! This place is in Ontario. Tons of amazing abandoned houses there.
This was filmed in winter, not summer. It's plus 30s now (Celsius). Winter gets cold in some parts but not all.
This is barely enough snow to put winter boots on....when it's over your knees, up to your butt, that is medium ..
Thanks for letting us “walk” in the snow with you! I’m older and can’t walk far! Just walking in the woods is delightful to me!
I love this, I grew up this way.Our house is still standing,my dad built it.Its not abandoned though people bought it.It still had a mint green phone and kitchen, and our bathroom was a blue tub and toilet.Winters were cold and lots of snow.My dad ran a sawmill across the road. We also had a beautiful stone fireplace my dad built.
@Андрей Gluzh My parents passed away and it was in the will that the property be sold. I really wish I could still live there.
As you grew up "that way", could you advise where (the general area?) in (the middle of) Canada, this house is located in?
My question is if the daughter of the house is in a care home did she not have children??
How come its not been sold or passed down the family relatives 😢
Absolutely amazing filming Danny & lesley thank you for telling the story of the clock maker & his family.
Being Canadian and watching these two talk about how “deep” the snow: priceless. 👌😂😂😂
Was just about to add that comment... lol...
LOL they haven't experience knee high deep snow 😂😂😂
I was laughing so hard at them thinking there was so much snow 😉 not even knee deep.
Yes hahaha I'm from MN I feel the same 🤣 snow becomes a blind spot when it's taller than your car!
I think in winter it is much higher snow. I live in Bavaria not far from the mountains. We also have sometimes more snow.
Amazing find. The tape player is called a "reel to reel" tape recorder. It used 7 inch reels. Excellent sound. Thoroughly enjoy the Bros of Decay!
I love watching you two so much and all the crazy things you do is so awesome. Watch out for that fibreglass insulation, it’s. super itchy. What an amazing house, very beautiful
I only wish homes like this one would be found and resold or rewritten. It hurts my heart to see beautiful places like these to just whither away. 🙁
Thanks so much to you both for an amazing exploration!!! You and your team are all amazing, as well. I feel like I’m cheating when I watch anyone else’s exploration videos. 😀
Everyone else seems to be copying off of your channel, for one, and for two… nobody else does it like y’all do it. They are not so defined in their exploration, showing the viewers everything and every room like you guys do it.
I’m sure y’all made snow Angels again after all of the exploration fun. 💙❄️😀
Maybe "wither away"? - withering away places?
# withering away, in the oblivion of all and in the dusk, self-clouding places
Agreed, abandoned houses seem like a waste. They should be reused. 👍Bros of decay
@@SgttardNO ONE wants to live out there.
Those glass items your friend showed you.. those are called insulators. They capped the rods the wires were wrapped onto then stretched out to the next pole. LOL and the decade for the kitchen is early to mid 1980s... I grew up in a kitchen just like it The hanging miniature statue... that's a lamp!! An oil lamp. It would light up and oil would perpetually drip along the black strings around the statue. They were VERY polular in the late 1970 - 80s. LOL the carpet on the toilets... goodness... I laughed SO hard... those are simply lid covers . Made like carpet, yes, usually came in a 3-piece matching set. A cover for the tank lid, one for the seat lid and a rug that was cut to fit around the toilet base. For decoration. That vacuum cleaner is a Kuby, looks like a late 70s upright. I love the new filming style, showing each other, having fun. Awesome work Guys!
Hello how are you doing?
Yeah, about that oil lamp. I've seen a working one. Very cool.
The Kirby is mid to late 80’s
I love this video. You did a great job… especially the snow part. Did you notice the silence in the field of snow? I love that experience… the sound of silence.
I'm sure he could tell you stories about all of his projects. I appreciate the way you guys are interested yet respectful.
I'm delighting in the fact that you Lesley and ur friend are delighting over the 70's decor!! I absolutely love the alligator soap dish and peacock feather design wallpaper!! 😍 It's making me nostalgic for days gone by!!
Such lovely lads aren't they?same age as my boy xxx
millionaires house phillipines abandoned
This is just what I need on a 40 degree day in England 🥵🥶 beautiful snow!
That home gives off a warm feeling. Looks like it was a happy atmosphere with happy vibes. That’s a great home to be raised in. Good job guys .🍷🇺🇸
Same here I feels so much giggle watching this. Hi there how are you doing with your family i do hope you are safe from the Covid?
The lamp @ 49:10 is an oil lamp. They were popular in the 1960s through 1970s. The woman is not in a cage -- those wires surrounding her dripped small droplets of oil that slowly rolled down into a reservoir at the bottom, then back up, again. They were also rather dangerous as they could catch on fire -- probably why they are no longer common. Also, the toilet seats have rugs/cushions on top because it was common for smokers to sit on the toilet and smoke, read, etc while not needing to use the toilet. PAM is a common vegetable oil spray that greases pans for cooking/baking. Its rather unhealthy compared to butter, but too many people still use it as its easer than greasing with butter.
Butter is always worth the little extra time. I would never use Pam, I use a well seasoned cast iron skillet, so things don’t stick anyway.🖤🇨🇦
I have the hanging lamp I think it's called a rain lamp
@@tamarrajames3590 I agree butter and bacon grease are much better the body recognizes it.
I've been looking far and wide for one of those oil lamps for years. I was always fascinated by the drops of oil on the strings!
You two are incredible together. I love now hearing and seeing Danny more! Your banter back and forth is the best! I also love how you acknowledge when Danny is shaking his head or rolling his eyes at you! The passion you two share on the explorations is contagious. You make us giggle when we clearly know what an item is and you....well....you don't. :) Your improvement with your videography skills over the years has been phenomenal to watch. Keep up the amazing work.
Thank you! was a heartwarming visit to this place!
I've been following Bros of Decay for 2 1/2 years and I just love your videos. I was intrigued when you started to explore America but now that you are in my homeland, Canada, I'm even more intrigued. I just loved this video and you captured the place really well. Can't wait to see more of your videos from Canada. Stay safe and well... dear bros.
The frozen wasteland of Canada. Yep. That sums it up. But As I'm watching this on my deck it's 40 C in the shade. Love your channel!
Wasteland, made me laugh
Welcome to Canada!!! I was born and raised in this country and I love it very much. You are welcomed to return, anytime. ☮❤👌😊
Hello Lesley and Danny. Congratulations on your collaborative efforts. What really impresses me the most about your work is the good intentioned way you film these precious memories. Your respect and protective nature always shines through. And that’s true for all of your bros and colleagues. Here’s to your joint efforts together. Each video brings me joy. And that sombrero looked like it was custom made for you Lesley. Thank you!!! 👊👊👊
Pretty sure they should not be in there though.
So glad the home has not been vandalized yet, i hope it sells soon and another family can make memories, wounder why the daughter hasnt taken care of her parents estate.
This is such a fun video, I enjoyed it so much! Lesley, you surprised and impressed my husband when you climbed up into the attic. He called it a "rat run" and said it was for easy access to wiring and other structural things, and he really enjoyed seeing the trusses and the way they were built, even though he was very disappointed that you didn't look closely to see if the builders had signed it or written something on the wood. I had to laugh at him, and I will tease him about it 😂Danny's reactions to everything are priceless. I just love how open you guys are. Thank you so much for this wonderful documentary about what was obviously a happy, warm little home. There were so many things I recognized, but what really stood out for me were the slides. My dad loved slides, he would get educational slide sets from the library in Rochester NY and every evening for a half hour before bedtime we would have a history lesson. You name it, we saw slides about it. Wonderful memories ❤️ thank you so much 😘😘
We love you and Danny
.we appreciate your kindness and respect. Thank you
I believe it's an anniversary clock on the pool table. They were made to work for a year. Pam was used when you didn't want foods to stick to the pan when cooking. It also made for easier cleaning of the pan.
PAM is a vegetable oil cooking spray, introduced in 1959, by Arthur Meyerhoff. PAM = Product of Arthur Meyerhoff.
Yes, it's an anniversary clock.
@@OofusTwillip As I remember, Pam was introduced as a healthier and more convent way to keep things from sticking instead of lard.
@@shirleyshirley4188it’s funny that lard is actually far healthier than vegetable oil is… seeds oils are horrible for you. Animal fats are excellent.
I have seen this beautiful house before. I really enjoyed your video version! It looks like such a warm, homey, well loved home.
Last time the power was still on and they were able to play some tapes on the TV. They were of the family and celebrations.
It looks like they could walk back in at any moment, smiles all around, and dinner being prepared and smelling fantastic.
Thank you for another great explore!
Yes I was going to write the same thing. I can’t remember the explorer who showed it though.
@@wanderlust6828 I believe it was Uncharted Travel is the one. Ethan Minnie also explored it, but I don't think he played the videos.
@@MKWhitney yes I think you’re right. Wonder if the power is still on 🤷🏻♀️
I love watching your video especially if you are together... I mean with Danny...because you two are funny and able to share ideas along explorations ...and also Danny is a good man... you two are soft voice that's lovely .. I hope you always are together in explorations .. 💞 God bless always...
Love seeing Danny reaction to seeing snow for the first time.....too cute
Danny, great guy!!! What a team, really!!!
Thank you so much 🙏❤️🥰

I really like your accent. I enjoy how you talk about the properties and the owners, what the places were like, what happened to the residents, how they lived day to day. I can really tell how much you love what you do. You seem like a nice person.
Hey Lesley! I loved this surprise on Monday! I loved see Danny too! You are amazing together! This house is very cute! Congratulations !👏❤🇧🇷
I really enjoyed this house tour. The decorations that were there were from the 70's that must have been the last time it was decorated.
The glasses are fake stained glass made out of plastic, very popular in the late 60's, early 70's.
This house was done by urban explorers a few years ago when the electricity was still on. They set up the projector in the house. Showed slides of the family in the house. Very sad
If there was no heat in the house now, you’d think the water pipes would freeze and burst. Did someone shut off the water and drain them? Very good video guys!
I like snow but I thought you were
showing abandoned old houses and
such. Please keep your videos to the point, I would watch this more..
I LOVE the music you choose to play in between the narrating!!
LOVE both of your dialects, it's irresistibly cute! Anyway....that vacuum cleaner is not from the 1960's, it's from the mid-to late 1980's; the ones from the early to mid-1960's were tan color trim, and in the late 1960's, it was olive green and they were smaller. They have lifetime warranties, too, so....quite expensive, just like that Lincoln Continental (looks like a 2006 or newer) in the garage, but they're very high quality and will out-clean all other vacuums...it shampoos carpet, polishes floors, converts to a tank with a hose, etc., almost like a Transformer, lol. I used to be a Kirby sales/service technician, and they're still manufactured here in Ohio, but the new ones are very world class, almost robotic, they push and pull back by themselves; I have 3 myself. It is not unusual to see these vacuums still in daily use after 40+ years; they're damn near indestructible, built like a military tank. Great video, guys!
I am in love with this house!!! The "Amish people" by the fireplace we're pilgrims, Amish decor doesn't have faces due to their beliefs of it being vane. Great find and I really enjoy your videos
I also want to add that I live in Canada and it's not a barren wasteland.....LOL. I'm in Victoria, B.C. and we hardly ever get much snow. I'm so excited that you finally came to my country. Come back in the summer....LOL.
No, not a barren wasteland--more like plenty of of untouched beautiful wilderness if anything. I live on the Island too. We definitely don't get enough snow here to keep our igloos standing lol.
covered toilets were popular in the 60s & 70s. They were primarily decoration, to make the toilet look more presentable, but also provided comfort if you sat on the toilet to get dressed, trim your toenails, etc. We had them when I was growing up in the 70s
Good to see Danny back! It’s great to see the reactions for North American styles you’re as fascinated as I am when watching all the places in Europe theres such a contrast in styles! Great video!
That fire detector is for people who may be hard of hearing or deaf it flashes so they are aware of smoke or fire.
The cabinet with the coats, the door probably has a colored , what we Americans called plexi glass. It's really a very heavy plastic. They used it a lot in decor in the 1970's. The kitchen decor, wall paper and such is a 1970's thing. I grew up in the 70's. We had some of that in my mother's kitchen.
This place is wonderful and so much of their history. The cabinet between the speakers is a stereo cabinet. Really enjoyed this video. Love ya both
I thought so too, was yelling at em to open it
You can tell you're a young man that was a rain lamp they're about 50 minutes into the show. A lot of things you haven't seen or heard before the 90s. And that they are so common to me in my mid-60s, 40 years makes a difference! love your show, keep on rolling with your show! :)
I love this one! I think the console between the speakers in the living room was the record player! The lamp where you said it looks like a woman in prison was an oil lamp. Beads of oil dripped down those wires. Looked like it was raining! I used to have one! I totally enjoy watching your videos!
No it was where a Portable Cd player, VHS tapes and a few old magazines where kept, I think the record player was the cabinet underneath the record book
My parents had the same lamp that dripped the oil. I am in the USA.
@@caroleshay9153 my auntie and uncle use to have that lamp to and my sister and I could not wait to see what it was to touch it, hehe.X apparently they were taken out of production due to being a fire hazard and causing fires with the hot wax it was fascinating to watch them so really truly peaceful and really relaxing as well takes me right back...xx
Omg yes was going to write and saw your comment I’m almost 50 my gram had the same thing she died when I was 12 in the 80’s and she had the same kitchen chairs thanks for the memories guys
Hello from New Mexico, USA! The hanging lamp in the living room with the woman in the middle is actually and oil lamp. My parents have the same one. When plugged in, drops of oil run down the strands that enclose the women. From back in the 70's. The covered toilets are a decor set that comes with the cover for the toilet, a rug for your feet and a throw rug.
Hi Danny and Lesley, I'm always looking forward to seeing your videos Lesley, the house is beautiful
Sorry for your loss your grandfather certainly build a beautiful family home. Your grandparents would be so proud of you & brother
Hello Lesley and Danny! Probably she was go to vacation to Jalisco México because the sombrero is similar for The Mariachi grupo. 😊😉👍🤗💯
That Kirby was from the ‘80s. My husband sold them for a very short time period. The ones from the ‘60s were all metal except for the bag. Great sweeper. Beautiful house sad that it’s all alone now. Thanks for the video
Carpeted toilet covers and rugs around the toilet were fashionable in Canada and the USA until the 1990s. Since then, they're considered gauche.
Kirby was a very high-end brand of vacuum cleaner, often used in hotels and offices, by professional cleaning staff.
Even back then I thought it was gauche. "Carpets go on the *floor,* not the frickin' toilet lid!" 😀
The carpets on top of the toilets were very popular when I was a young girl my grandmother always has that. I’m in the U.S. in Norther Calif. general the throw rugs in the bathrooms always matched the ones on the toilets. We had a Kirby Vacuum cleaner. That kitchen wow, from another time period. They were also very popular when I was a kid. I’m older and all my kids are grown. Every in this house is so very American. Brings back so many memories. You guys have done a good job. I have my fathers old slide machine and old carousel slides. Good job.
Excellent video. You always amaze me. Seeing all that snow on a hot summer day is very refreshing. I look forward to seeing what else you find for us in 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸.❤
The toilets have a lid cover that usually matches the rug in front of the toilet and a rug for the tub. It also serves to lessen the sound of the lid being raised and banged against the back of the toilet.
Such an interesting cozy well preserved house! I love how so many things are disguised or hidden in there ;
You guys are great and amusing, as always! Lovely filming styles , passion and love for exploring! Thank you for this wonderful episode!!♥️
Your friend walking on snow for the first time - hilarious!🤣
Olá, é muito bom vê-los juntos nesta grande aventura, parabéns 🌷🇧🇷
Welcome to Canada It was one of your best reports. I loved. You looked nice with the sombrero. Keep up the good work.
Welcome to Canada gentlemen! ❤❤❤
Hey there would be nice to visit Canada someday. Hope you’re safe from the Covid?
This is so…. Sad….but their memory is locked in time…. Like a museum…. Thankyou for sharing
It is so cute and wholesome Danny's reaction to the snow him and leslie are beautiful men i would love to be friends with . Watching leslie come out of the attic was like watching child birth he is a big boy going through a small hole
Loved the video! You looked great in the sombrero. So glad Danny is with you. You guys are great together. As always your video was so wonderful. You said the date of 2001 that you found on the Pringles Chip can was so long ago.... I had to snicker, cuz I was born in 1948...2001 doesn't seem so long ago to me, ha ha. I go to your channel every day and I love it. The slides you found were awesome, I lost all of mine in a flood in 2015. So glad you guys are coming to my homeland, the U.S. Thank you for bringing smiles and happyness to me with all your videos! God bless you both!
Welcome 🙏 to Canada 🇨🇦. Love your adventures ❤️.
It’s awesome 👏 hi there hope you’re safe from the Covid?
Love how 'Mrs. Ross" is such a good housekeeper. God bless her. Almost everything is spit spot, save that one storage room. Truly a time capsule. (And I bet that classic Kirby vacuum cleaner does work! My parents' is that old and still works better than my new one!)
A little statue in the brass holder with the wires surrounding her wasn’t a prison, but I believe that when it was turned on it looked like there was rain or water swirling around her
Oil came down the spindles. Very contemporary from the 80's. A little tacky for my taste but to each his own. Many of our neighbors had these hanging in their picture windows lit in the evening. The house is so 70's, 80's. I am familiar with their draperies, wall paper coverings. As our house was quite similar in those days. All stereo, and tv equipment was top quality. These people had a few bucks. Especially with the Lincoln Continental in the garage. Very impressive.
That's why it is good to visit Antique Stores because you will sometimes see some of these items. I love visiting Antique Stores. It's an hobby of mine.
Hi Leslie, the hanging lamp with the statue is called a rain lamp. They were popular in the 70s. Mineral oil was poured in the bottom and when on it would go to the top and come down the strings and glow like rain. They are rare today.
I have the rain lamp I just love it
My father did the same thing. He had a clock shop that looked exactly like that. All kinds in parts and pieces everywhere. I inherited so many clocks!
The toilet set cover and accompanying toilet rug was all the rage at that time. Personally, they always seemed like pee catchers for my little brother. They also had matching covers that went over the actual part of the seat you sat on. Fortunately, not many people had those.
They also made padded seat covers, mostly because the seat could be cold in winter. I never liked those sets, because the fitted carpet in front of the toilet really WAS to catch pee, and the seat covers were very unsanitary…but it was a style, even the toilet paper and Kleenex matched the colour of the fixtures and mats back then.🖤🇨🇦
❤ I love Danny’s reaction to snow….I’ve lived all my life where it snows and have the same reaction every time it snows! Leslie- invest in snow pants and boots, dude!!
Excelente como siempre Lesly...sabes algo de maureno...... gracias por compartir saludos desde Monterrey México 😁
Having bathroom sets including a toilet cover was very popular in days gone by. Not so much any more.
Glad you guys enjoyed this location! Great video!! Sorry again that the place no longer had power, and that we got caught shortly after 😅 - come back to Canada again soon!!
Too bad the place no longer had power... Hopefully they shut the water off so the pipes don't freeze and burst, then flood the place... Do you know who the owners are?
It's 107* Fahrenheit today in Southern California where I live it will be well over 100° for the next several weeks maybe month so thank you for showing some snow it helps me to feel cooler stay safe
I am really curious about what happened to the couple that lived in this house. It appears that they left quickly. Can you elaborate a bit more about the owners? You would think their daughter, or other family would have cleared this house out by auction or other means, and to put it on the market to sell. Someone has to be paying the taxes on this house. I would love to know more. Love your explorations and your commentary! You have made me laugh several times and also have peaked my curiousity on the many abandoned homes you feature.
The parents died around 2000, the daughter lived there until about 10 years ago and now lives in a care home. She had hoped to visit her home but has not been able to. Sad. It is a happy house. It's not abandoned, people still care for it and these guys are entering illegally.
Wonderful exploration! Such a great family home, with so many brands and items recognizable in the U.S. This was truly the home of a creative craftsman.
Seen a video of this house s couple years ago . Power was on in the house... The guys played a VHS tape of the family at Christmas in 1987... . When the guys played the Christmas video it brought that house to life... It was my favorite abandoned house ever... I went back and watch that video many times... The guys who filmed there showed great respect for the clockmaker...God bless guys... Here's the video of anyone wants to see it ruclips.net/video/NNKrjW76oDY/видео.html
Obrigada, vou assistir
Woudnt it have been lovey to give these tapes to the nursing home of there daughter to give her memories back to her
I'm glad you mentioned that because I remember that video. It made an impression on me seeing the house come to life through that VHS.
I just saw the video you recommended. 🥺💔 Thank you. Leslie said the daughter lived in this house until she went to a retirement home, but if the owner lived until 2011 she can't be that old. Maybe she lives somewhere else with her family. Or I misunderstood. 🤔🙋♀️
The vacuume cleaner was a Kirby make and they were Very good make and lasted years. My friend had one for 30yrs. Enjoyed the house visit and Yes the family should have taken their family photos with them when they left.
Lesley your urbex explores are the best. Your loving portrayal of the families and the history is amazing. I saw this home filmed by other explorers. You and Danny lend the feeling your viewer is being welcomed into the lives of the former owners. Thank you, God bless and safe travels 😇
Lol, my mother had one of those 'nude statue' oil lamps! It was filled with mineral oil, and when turned on the light bulb would illuminate 'the scene' and once warmed up the mineral oil would flow down the the angled plastic 'bars' and would give the appearance of rainfall. VERY late 70s early 1980s.
This home has the 70s styles. That was a Kirby vacume cleaner. Very expensive. The carpet on the toliet seat lids is mainly for decoration. You can close the lid and sit down on a soft lid to get dressed. I agree. It is sad to see so many memories from a family just abandoned. This family had money. Thanks for sharing ! ❤
Muchas gracias por los subtitulos, me encanta ver sus videos aunque no siempre, entiendo la historia de los lugares que se ven en sus videos ya que no se ingles pero es fascinante siempre verlos 😘
Omg that place is awesome and bright.
Maravilloso lugar para deslizarme en el hielo bendiciones a ustedes por dar a conocer lugares estupendos desde Ecuador .
at around 49 min you point out the statue hanging... my grandparents had one of those and i absolutely loved it. when you turned it on oil would drip down the wires very slowly and eventually it looked like it was raining all around the statue. i remember they gave off a funky smell but they were so beautiful and I have not seen one since I was a child. thank you for sharing ❤
So glad you and Danny will be exploring together on a permanent basis.I wish Maureno would have listened to you and maybe the 3 of you would be filming together.I am so happy for you guys and that Danny was able to see his first snow with you.I can hardly wait to see the adventures you go on.Best of luck guys.
Leslie…I was surprised when this video showed up in my notifications…and only a few minutes in I was laughing…love Danny he’s amusing…”it’s snowing it’s like snow but little snow”…best line I’ve ever heard…and you laying down in the snow to show Danny how to make the snow angels was priceless…I have to say this was one of my fav videos you’ve made
…both Danny and you worked well together…and was having too much fun…I loved that.
Kirby vacuums last forever I heard…and parts can be purchased for it…they’re expensive
…the hanging lamp with statue would have oil dripping from the wires down to the base…the toilette with the carpet covers are decorative and use to be very popular…I loved the tinted plexiglass coat closet doors…haven’t seen one in a long time…and the clock under the glass dome is a Anniversary Mantle Clock…I don’t know if they still make them…I haven’t seen one in years.
When you climbed into the attic space…I felt my anxiety kick in…I’m claustrophobic…I don’t know how you did it…but I survived watching you.
TFS🙏🏽enjoyed this video so much and I hope Danny and you will explore more abandoned places together again.
Until next time.
Yeah, we get some snow lol. I live in Maine, but its essentially the same weather. I'm delighted that the house is free from the vandalism that usually accompanies abandoned properties in north America.
I have generally seen less vandalism in Canadian abandoned properties than in the USA. Some have graffiti, but not so much gratuitous breaking of things and theft. In the cities you will find squatters, but that is everywhere. Out in the more rural areas no squatters or vandalism.🖤🇨🇦
Canada is not a frozen wasteland. Also, in Florida you would see Alligators not crocs
You guys were such a joy to watch The wonder if all new things You needed snow shoes to walk on top of the snow The picture slides in the bed room, the oil lamp you would really enjoy watching.I own a Lincoln car you wouldn't believe the smother and quiet ride in one. ,The bathroom set you called carpet 🙂and most of all our recliners, almost every home has one or more .So nice to listen to your ideas about Canada and U.S.🤗👍❤️
My family's from Nova Scotia ❤️ Prince Edward's Island. Snow ❄️ Snow ❄️ beautiful 😍
Hi Lesley, The "carpet" on the toilet lid, along with the floor mat, was typical in homes in the 70's. After a bath or shower you would sit on the toilet to dry off. With a wet tush, you would slide around on it, so the cover was there to keep you from moving, and also keep your tush warm. The mat would keep you from slipping on the smooth floor.
It's fun watching these. I wish so much to help them with some identification of things. Things in Europe are much different. They are fun, brave, and caring young men.
Sad and beautiful house love it, That One Lamp hanging on the corner of the wall where the chimney is at, it’s a Beautiful Oil Lamp that when you turn it on, it shows like it’s raining but it actually the Oil coming down the streams..
Love this place! Thanks for showing it to us. The "miniature statue" in the family room is an oil lamp. Oil runs down the wires in drops to look like rain.
The hanging decorative hanging lamp by fireplace in front room is 1970's . It's a rain lamp ! When the lamp warms up ,oil beads go down the wires. Bathroom decore in 1970's Stool and lid cover. Kirby sweepers, top of the line . Mom had one and had the rug shampooer, Loved your presentation,
