That is a custom job of a craftsman, the banister of the stairs, the decor, those fireplaces! Homes were crafted with great loving care and built to last for generations as a legacy to pass down back then. Those children were well provided for, obviously, with those bedrooms filled with lovely personal touches.
I truly enjoy your channel. You have a wonderful way of bringing history to light. I also wanted to thank you for being respectful and caring with the properties that you explore.
I'm fascinated by the wallpaper in this house. On first impression, the designs look 1930's but I've not seen so many as striking as these geometric/floral prints. The one in the hallway and the up the staircase was very bold, almost as if it was designed in Minecraft, haha. Maybe, they are specifically French and somewhat niche; definitely Art Deco!
Fascinating tour of this home! The stuffed animals displayed in such weird ways seem rather dark to me. I once went into a friend’s mother’s house as of to my horror there was a table sitting on top of an elephant foot!! I don’t understand that mentality. Thank you for posting this!
Hi Leslie & crew. Recently discovered your channel. Now I can't stop binge watching. As someone who reads quite a lot of nonfiction on time periods you are entering I wanted to mention that it was quite normal for the children to be raised by a governess or nanny. This may explain the small, barren rooms you find throughout these homes. And it was also common that after dinner the men and women would separate. The men for smoking and drinking, men subject conversation. The women for tea, afterwards they would meet up for entertainment, music, piano or solo singing.
Heyy dear Lesley, how are you doing my friend?! - Wow, that's again an absolutely fascinating mansion you found in France. I am completely amazed by the craftmanship of the furniture with the intricate carvings. Although the main living room is holding beautiful furniture, I also find the display of the taxidermy animals very disturbing to see, - but that is something, you find from time to time in houses of rich people and in castles. When you were showing the menu card I found behind you on the marble top of the cabinet a beautiful vase manufactured in cameo glass, - from the art nouveau period. And - the huge mirror has a typical art deco shaped frame. Absolutely beautiful!! - Wow, - and the clock with the lady and the peacock on the chimney mantlepiece together with the two matching side urns is after my opinion a legit masterpiece of the art deco period. As far as I could see the lady statue is made probably of bronze and ivory in combination, called "chryselephantine". The most famous artist of the early 20-th century, who made overwhelminmgly beautiful masterpieces of statues in this techniqe, was Demetre Chiparus, who was born in Romania and mainly worked in Paris. - I presume, that set is alone a fortune worth! So amazing to see! Also this lamp on the ceiling of the hallway is pure art deco. - Every room was a surprise of its own!! So many smaller antiques standing on the mantlepieces and in beautifully carved display cabinets,... and so on. - In one bedroom there was a corner shelf with very different items, and I saw two typical tin wind up toy figures from the german toy company "Schuco", presumably from the prewar period. - But on the other hand there was one rather disturbing detail visible: a turned down crucifix over a bed! - Actually a very sinister sight! - And -then again I also loved that beautifully furnished living room with th red art deco armchairs and an absolutely amazing amount of different antiques everywhere visible in this room. - The beautiful velvet curtains add ideally to the rich and elegant atmosphere of this room. Walking in mind together with you through all these rooms really made my heart jump! I was nearly speechless to see so many well preserved antiques from different art historical periods. Absolutely overwhelming! - This is after my opinion one of your best and most spectacular explores you were doing in France, - a true time capsule in partially museal quality, which should by all means be preserved. Thank you so much for taking us on tour through such an exceptionally beautiful mansion. - Wishing you still a lot more fun together with Maureno in the USA. Stay safe and many hugs, my dear friend and bro! - God bless you all! - Peace and kindest regards!
There was another upside down crucifix in the second bedroom, I think. It was a white piece that was on top of the cabinet, on the right hand side of the bed.
Amazing pieces of furniture in that house, some really nice Art Deco armoires and credenzas …but it was weird to see those crucifixes placed upside down inside the rooms..
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the upside-down crucifixes... almost like he had given up his faith after the death of his wife (I actually just assumed they fell over the years?). Sad... and SCARY!😮
I noticed that one and then one upright to the left. Then I looked closer and Jesus was upright but hanging from just barely below where the cross was but having the bottom part above him was strange. There were many more dark things and not the stuffed animals. I think other things like that kept what seemed to be 5 children away 😕.
What a beautiful time capsule, the antique furniture are amazing but I don't like stuffed animals. It's hard to see this and it hurts so much😭I will never understand why people shoot animals just for fun,it's disrespectful to the animals to stuff them and then display them as decorations or furniture like this. It's cruel!!!So thank for the video.Have nice weekend!
He was a widower and probably went to sleep in a former room of one of his children. It's hard to sleep in the bed and bedroom that you spent your wedded life with your beloved. I know that as a widow myself. I understand completely. I love the light switch. It's a lovely house.
That bedroom in the Attic was made especially, it's magnificent, my Dad built me a small version of this design in my parents bedroom to give me my own space as there was only one bedroom
Despite the creepiness of the taxidermy..this is my favorite place that you have explored . This brought tears to my eyes , I'd absolutely love to own this.
What a beautiful town to see. The bell was so nice to hear. This house's countryside setting on top of a hill was charming. The interior was almost timeless looking like the owners would return anytime. So many personal touches coming through from the owner, his hobbies, personal taste in beautiful furniture and paintings. The piano:) Those squirrels were very unusual, though I am a fan of our animal friends I realize that this all happened long ago in different times. I am always amazed at the grand attics in these mansions, they look like the inside of a bygone wooden ship. I really liked the hobby horses and period era hats, what a nice touch, again thank you for sharing with us.
Hi Lesley and friends, 😘 I think that this place is amazing. I'm glad people didn't destroy this place. I truly felt like this place was a time capsule. The man's family must be rich because they left everything behind. Thank you, Lesley! I enjoy this video very much. See you next week.😘
Being of age and how to manage the sequence of returns in those early periods is what seems quite scary in the current market. The market is never a loser in the twenty year cycle, but the 2000s decade scenario scares me and could really disrupt my retirement. When you're no longer accumulating but withdrawing, it's hard to be anything but cautious.

Wow, I'm just shocked someone mentioned and recommended expert Mrs Diana Lynne Bobka. I thought people don't really know her. I invested £ 2,000 with Mrs Diana Lynne Bobka after i met her at a conference in London, she made me profit of £ 11,790 in just 7- 14 days of trading with her and i invested more.
Did people smoke in their bedrooms ? You bet !. People of my age remember all the comments/ jokes (poor jokes) of the dangers of smoking in bed. Now then, I wouldn't want to be surrounded with the thought that I took the lives of those animals. However, he paid no small sum for each one to be preserved and mounted, which was in vogue then. The supply of fox seemed endless; farmers thanked you for thinning them out. It is important to at least attempt to read why they did things. It is not my way...we were made to capture and mount butterflies years ago for a credit in school. It is not something I liked doing. The Mourning Cloak butterfly I killed was the last one that I saw ...50 years ago. Tears. The preservation here is fabulous, Lesley and crew.
We immensely enjoy your explorations as well as your comments. Have tried to watch other channels. They seem rather insipid compared to yours. Your knowledge and respect for the property of others are rather remarkable. DO NOT STOP! We send you and your team blessings and safe travels, free from harm.
Another fascinating experience. Interesting how the home seams staged professionally like an exhibit. So many items do not have dust marks when picked up. The home Is all typically furnished between early 1910 to 1930. Thanks again Leslie, well done.
the animal trophys for younger people today may find it hard to understand, but hunting was how people fed themselves decades and centuries ago.Its the history of the people and their homes and shouldnt be shyed away from. You make these documentaries very interesting and i can see how much you love history as we all should .I think there may be a time we see a majour tv station sponsoring a new series ,but make sure you are the presentor.Leslie .ps you inspired me to spell my name with a ey as i had untill reaching an older age.
The man with the cat in his beard in the photo is Louis Coulon! His beard was 11,' and he posed for many postcards. I wonder if that's just one of his postcards or if he was known to the homeowners.
Greeting from Front Royal, VA. Leslie and team, you are incredible and provide hours and hours of enjoyment. One question … have any relatives come forward because they have seen their relatives’ house in your show? Don’t ever stop exploring!
It is so odd for people to abandon these beautiful homes, castles perhaps. But why leave such valuable belongings. I just don’t get it. I know it’s probably not a I am hooked on your channel as my sisters here in Florida and I use to explore abandoned houses as well. It was fascinating to us. We also liked to find their garbage dumps as we found many old glass items, especially bottles made from molds and joined together. Probably a “trade secret,” but where do you learn about these places? And I love your accent. As an English major, though I would suggest that you use the word “Wow” a little less. Check out a good thesaurus like Webster’s.
My favorite way to spend Sunday night with the bro's of decay, much love from Vancouver 🇨🇦 stay safe and have a great week as always you made my weekend 🐾
Hey Ann, I am doing Oke, I had a very tough week, lots of things happened but I am coping with it, will be better soon again. Lovely to hear that you enjoyed the video, more amazing ones are to come very soon! :)
In all the bedrooms there were upside down crosses. Why? The last bedroom before the attic didn't have the cross on the wall but the crucifix on side table was turned over. Creepy. I hope you pray after leaving these places so you take nothing home with you.
Hi Ann Smith, I was also completely overwhelmed by the beauty of this mansion holding so incredibly many valuable antiques (except the taxidermy animals, which I also don't like to see! ). I hope, you are well. So I wish you from my deepest heart all the best, peace and kindest regards from sunny Switzerland.
How did the last person to leave the piano room leave... the door was locked AND furniture was awkwardly barricaded against the door? Did they hop out of the window too?
That’s funny, probably they did the same thing this guy did to get inside...use the window. They most likely barricaded the door because they wanted to go back in & finish taking items which they deemed sellable. I’m sure tons of stuff was stolen from that house.
Upside down crucifix could just be the cross of St Peter who was supposedly put on an inverted cross, it’s seen a lot and doesn’t immediately mean satanic worship. Love your trips to these beautiful houses and I love love the fact everything is left behind, people comment that things are worth so much money today and why can they not be saved but that’s sort of the point , you can’t take it with you and we see through your videos lives once lived.X
You did a wonderful job displaying this rather disturbing home. The taxidermy was sad to see. I wish this owner's family would remove the poor, dead animals, and properly bury them. They deserve that respect. Also, equally disturbing was the crucifixes that were turned upside down in two of the bedrooms. That is quite evil that someone did that intentionally it would seem because it happened in two rooms. It's not your fault. It was just my observation. Thanks again for all your efforts, and continued luck with the channel! Blessings...💚
Like I have stated before...at least the kids don't trash it. ! So much more respect than US. Great job Lesley!!!!! The animals were sorta of disturding. Thanks again!!
Sei e siete veramente grandiosi. Tu e le persone che ti aiutano. Porta un saluto a Jordy.
Hi Lesley! What a strange intriguing place! I love the unique style of each room and how you try to figure out the story and the secrets left behind by observing carefully each and every detail! I'm completely fascinated with this abandoned mansion! Great exploration, as usual!
Seriously? Nobody noticed the upside down cross above the bed in that room? 27:15. How do you miss that? There is another upside down cross on the nightstand here as well. 39:52.
None of this S#!+ is NORMAL...its JUST...Normalization and Brainwashing on display here and added comments for enhancement........WE SEE YOU..Mark Atwood.
Absolutely gorgeous, breathtaking property!!! The antique wooden furniture was epic!!! The marble tops on the furniture was beautiful!!! Yes, my grandmother smoked in her bedroom all of the time! She didn’t have an ashtray in there so would set her lit cigarette on the edge of the dresser while she dressed… forgetting it on occasion…at times it would burn down, burning the wood & leaving marks😳 Thank heaven it never started on fire😢🧐😖 The taxidermy was a culture thing…but the cruel foxes that were trapped, were disturbing!!! The wall paper was sooo well put up that I was amazed that it was still hanging beautifully!!! Sad that all of the gorgeous wooden furniture & keepsakes, such as the China & crystal couldn’t be saved & reused & enjoyed by another 😞 Thank you Leslie, for another spectacular adventure!!! I loved it ❤️❤️❤️
What a beautiful little town that is I just love these charming little towns. This is quite an interesting place & those animals are a bit unnerving for me. Stay safe you guys Much love❣️
This living room and furniture it’s the best I’ve seen so far in your different houses/castles videos that you’ve showed!, love the redish pinkish colors and the sofa and chairs style!, they look very comfortable!, and the curtains, beautiful! Love it! 13:21
That house is amazing. Hunting and taxidermy was not considered "dark". It was simply a hobby or sport back in the day. Cultural change is making you feel somewhat judgemental towards someone that might have been a good man just trying to fill his lonely days. I don't know, but the pristinely neat and tidy appearance shows me he must have cared about his home and at least hired someone to help care for it if he didn't care for it himself. Maybe the family has been divided and can't resolve a dispute. Those foxes creep me out too. But the other animals are kind of the same every avid hunter that collects trophies from his or her hunts. Smoking and hunting and taxidermy was considered "normal and even healthy" male activity back by many more in his day. Squirrels sword fighting was a motif considered humor and whimsical. It's the culture of his day formed him just as much as your current culture forms your opinions on the man
It's a badger. Yes the owner was a bit cruel. Beautiful home. But horrible owner. What a shame. Yes they smoked in the bedrooms. Everywhere in the homes. Everything left as it was He only cared for hunting dogs. He had a cruel soul. Great video of an amazing home. But the family doesn't seem to want anything to do with it either . Wonder why the room was locked away so strongly? Shame. Amazing find. Very unusual. Thank you, Leslie. Incredible

Love your videos. Thought it was strange how the locked room actually had a table in front of the door on the inside of the room. Evidently, whoever last exited from there also crawled out the window. The stuffed animals were strange, but everything else was awesome. Sad to see a place like this begin to fall apart. This one is still in great shape compared to some you have covered, but I did notice water damage, stains on the ceiling and around a couple windows. It's sad. You would think someone would come forward and claim the place so at lease some of the contents could be saved. The stuff is old and priceless. Jus beautiful. Keep up the great work. I watch your videos often.
Hello Lesley ! Nice to join you today ! For my point, it's not you who will disturb the people sleeping but those bells that we can hear behind you ! lol ! WHAT NOISE ! lol
OMG !!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL THE WOOD !!! IN FACT ALL THINGS WOOD !!! AND THE FIREPLACE'S !!! I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THE RESPECT YOU SHOW FOR EACH PLACE YOU SHARE WITH US !!!
I love this house, especially the room you had to access through the window. I thought the dueling squirrels were a little humorous, but the rest were, as you said, darkly disturbing, especially the fox hanging by his foot. That one really bothered me as I could feel him dying that way. I would rather that they were shot than to have them die that way. That would be torturous. I love your show so much. You keep me company when I can't sleep at night. (And during the day as well.)
They didn't die that way. Most likely shot and then positioned that way. Poor taste..showed his dislike of them. Maybe they killed his chickens and other birds he hunted???
Hi Leslie. Another great find!!!! Thanks for another great video!! I ordered a t-shirt for my birthday… can’t wait for it to arrive …. I was surprised you had never seen a music box before.. ??
I enjoy your videos and they are very well made you respect the home's you going into you put things back in there places if you pick something up.. A true gentleman.. Bless you.. From South West Virginia.. Happy New Year..
Hello watching you all the way from Mobile Alabama in the United States love seeing all of the old abandoned places my Gram's said I was born with a old soul.
Lesley, congrats. for doing these videos for eight years. I think I have been a subscriber for five. This house has a very beautiful interior in some areas but the animal displays and upside down crosses was very disturbing.
It looks a set for a Steven King horror movie, upside down cross over the bed props. The furniture is amazing. Were the people that lived there vaporized? Such personal items left un moved for the entire house? Unreal huh? Your camera work is top notch 👍 love your channel 😉
This mansion got many interesting antique things, lot of money of the person in this place, it’s really sad to see no one are interested to keep its alive, sad to see it’s got abandoned, thank you for sharing
This is beautiful. Love the red room. The children most likely had to take Piano lessons. Obviously the man had a hobby of taxidermy. The home is not trashed! The nail or whatever that held the cross correctly probably fell out. Glad there didn’t hoard. Very neat in the cupboards. Horse pull toys.
Love you reviews, they are always interesting and cover so much. Just want to say the decoration above and around the chandelier in the old houses is a moulding, but are called ceiling medallions. Keep up the good work.
I always watch your videos, I love how you capture every detail. Show the date in which year it was made. Everything about this house I liked was the stuffed animal stern. I feel sorry for the animals. Thanks a lot.Sorry for my English, if there is a mistake in the text, I use a translator to thank you
Fantastic place minus the dead animals. If that were my father's house I would clean out the dead animals, clean and redecorate. Also open all the windows and do a cleansing with Palo Santo and live there. That man had bad energy I think.
~ Oh how I would LOVE to get my Hands on this Place and Restore it BACK to the " ORIGINAL BEAUTY " it once was . ~ Thanx for another Fantastic Journey and God Bless ~ Toni ~ ⛪
Im sorry to burst your bubble, but that is an upright piano, not a grand piano, a grand piano the body of it is laid flat and the top of it opens up to expose the strings and other mechanisms that make it work and in some, you can actually see the sound board "a piece of plywood that absorbs the sound and acts as a speaker at the same time".
Hi guys thanks for showing me this video of the beautiful mansion with everything left behind must of been a beautiful place for at one time David 🇬🇧🙏❤️👍
The animal displays are hideous but the home is a wonderful Art Deco time capsule. Fantastic chandeliers. So many expensive pieces left to just decay - sad.
Beautiful blues of course xx Favourite blues . So familiar. LOL. Very. Definitely a lifetime. Yes hurting me instead of heal ing me up and letting me get back to work. Burbs feeling. Must fix this issue with the Drs.
I know the upside down crucifix was awful, but I also saw 2 burned tea candles. I wonder if someone did a seance or something creepy like that, and they turned them upside down. Also who puts those massive locks on the inside doors? Creepy
Yes… that caught my attention immediately! I was wondering if anybody else would comment on it! Very creepy indeed… the child with the goat….. then crucifixes upside down… CREEPY!!
The inverted cross is a symbol of humility in faith. During the rein of Nero, the Apostle Peter would not be crucified in the same manor as Jesus Christ. If you look back in the video of when Lesley was in the purples/blue bedroom, you can see a small picture of Christ with a child.
Lesley hope you are feeling better. Another Amazing Find,Absolutely Beautiful Place, I Esp Love The Child Bed,and Music Box. The Lil Things That Truly Make This Home A Wonderful Gem .
@27:30 while you're in the bedroom of the man's house above the bed is there an upside down cross? Cuz that's what I see. And I'm pretty sure what it stands for is universal. So when you say this man had a dark history now I have no doubt. Because as you can see if you look at the film there's no Shadow above the cross so it must have been hung like that long ago on purpose when it was first attached to the wall. Otherwise there would be a shadow above it from it being turned upside down after being hung up. Just wanted to know if you noticed. Love your work and keep going you have tons of support from Texas. Aside from the cross and a couple other things I noticed the place was gorgeous beautiful and completely and utterly outstanding as a find. I don't know how you guys locate these places but please keep doing it. I've been a dedicated fan since you started. I'm 51 so I don't get out much so thank you for doing it for me it means so much more than you could ever imagine keep up the wonderful work.
sad that someone moved things around in the bedroom. You can see where they took the crucifix and moved it putting it upside down in the headboard from the where it was on the wall

The wounded energy of the animals is very disturbing
Indeed, there's a very sadistic vibe to it. 🥺
Yes I agree very bad energy 😔
I also agree, but that was how it was back in the days. Good work Leslie!
I agree!! I’m not a fan at all of animals all over the house. For me this is evil, not peaceful. So I’m not watching further
😭😭😭😭😭cry a river Karen, stuffed animals are great!

Some investors look to their investments as a source of income while others use it as a means to grow or preserve their wealth.
For now, investors getting started can feel overwhelming. Risk loom large and complicated, unfamiliar financial jargons can be intimidating.

😊☑️🤓
the animal trophys for younger people today may find it hard to understand, but hunting was how people fed themselves decades and centuries ago.Its the history of the people and their homes and shouldnt be shyed away from. You make these documentaries very interesting and i can see how much you love history as we all should .I think there may be a time we see a majour tv station sponsoring a new series ,but make sure you are the presentor.Leslie .ps you inspired me to spell my name with a ey as i had untill reaching an older age.
THESE ANIMALS WERE NOT HUNTED FOR “FOOD” OK!
The man with the cat in his beard in the photo is Louis Coulon! His beard was 11,' and he posed for many postcards. I wonder if that's just one of his postcards or if he was known to the homeowners.
The furniture is beautiful!
Those toy horses on wheels are quite sought after in the antique/collector's market. Shame to see them just mouldering away 😔
I know it’s probably not a
I am hooked on your channel as my sisters here in Florida and I use to explore abandoned houses as well.
Stop worrying about a word and just enjoy
My favorite way to spend Sunday night with the bro's of decay, much love from Vancouver 🇨🇦 stay safe and have a great week as always you made my weekend 🐾
Thank you for the video of this gorgeous Art Deco house, the music box was a common item for girls, and a very nice find.
Hi Lesley hope your well ,looks like another great find we all appreciate your dedication, much love Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️
Your or you're?
Hey Ann, I am doing Oke, I had a very tough week, lots of things happened but I am coping with it, will be better soon again. Lovely to hear that you enjoyed the video, more amazing ones are to come very soon! :)
Hi Ann! What happened to Lesley? 🤔
In all the bedrooms there were upside down crosses. Why? The last bedroom before the attic didn't have the cross on the wall but the crucifix on side table was turned over. Creepy. I hope you pray after leaving these places so you take nothing home with you.
THAT'S VERY GOOD ADVICE...THE MANSION TO ME FEELS SINISTER....
Yes, I did see the upside down cross 🤔
I think the nail fell out out of the wall. And the cross fell. Not evil. Cause all the rest was in place.
I saw that too! Did you notice the symbolic statuary? Creepy!
Christianity is fake anyway, it doesn't matter.
I friggin love your channel! Never miss an episode. You pick the best houses.
The workmanship in furniture always amazes me ,how clever people was way back an they didn’t have machines, beautiful home lv Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧✋✋✋
Hi Ann Smith, I was also completely overwhelmed by the beauty of this mansion holding so incredibly many
valuable antiques (except the taxidermy animals, which I also don't like to see! ).
I hope, you are well. So I wish you from my deepest heart all the best, peace and kindest regards from sunny Switzerland.
Hi Ann how are you doing? Greetings from Alabama
How did the last person to leave the piano room leave... the door was locked AND furniture was awkwardly barricaded against the door? Did they hop out of the window too?
Thank you I thought I was the only person that saw that as very strange
That’s funny, probably they did the same thing this guy did to get inside...use the window. They most likely barricaded the door because they wanted to go back in & finish taking items which they deemed sellable. I’m sure tons of stuff was stolen from that house.
They never left
Upside down crucifix could just be the cross of St Peter who was supposedly put on an inverted cross, it’s seen a lot and doesn’t immediately mean satanic worship. Love your trips to these beautiful houses and I love love the fact everything is left behind, people comment that things are worth so much money today and why can they not be saved but that’s sort of the point , you can’t take it with you and we see through your videos lives once lived.X
You just answered.........thanks.
The combination of dead animals, and especially the upsidown cross in the main bedroom gives me the creeps 😩
Yes
I was wondering if anyone noticed the cross. I would have righted it.
I also noticed the 2 inverted crosses.
Look up "the Apostle Peter". He has a religious following.
That is the emblem of St Peter the Apostle who was condemned to crucifixion and asked to be crucified upside down because he felt unworthy.
None of this S#!+ is NORMAL...its JUST...Normalization and Brainwashing on display here and added comments for enhancement........WE SEE YOU..Mark Atwood.

Yeah, I noticed that. 👍
Kind of goes with all the creepy animal stuff.
I loved it ❤️❤️❤️
Yeah 😊❤️
I can just imagine how beautiful this house was. Get rid of all those cobwebs and dust. Fantastic!!!
Interesting he isn't familiar with music boxes, they're common here in the US. Love this channel!
What a beautiful little town that is I just love these charming little towns. This is quite an interesting place & those animals are a bit unnerving for me. Stay safe you guys Much love❣️
I noticed they updated a few things during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods.
That house is beautiful! I love the attic! It's great how they kept it clean!
Heloo.!!! Nice
video, great place...
Greetings... 🇲🇽🌹👍🏻
It's the culture of his day formed him just as much as your current culture forms your opinions on the man
It is a beautiful place, thank you for bringing me along for the journey!! Nicely done!!! :)

So much hidden Beauty in this world presented by you in such a beautiful way with such lovely music in the background thank you so much. ❤
Kind of scary to see the crosses upside down in the bedrooms.
Add that to the barricaded door in the piano room and chills 👀
I agree...
I enjoy your videos and they are very well made you respect the home's you going into you put things back in there places if you pick something up.. A true gentleman.. Bless you.. From South West Virginia.. Happy New Year..
Sehr schöne Führung…wow, was für ein schönes Haus, Lesley….Freue mich auf weitere Abenteuer mit Dir.
Hello watching you all the way from Mobile Alabama in the United States love seeing all of the old abandoned places my Gram's said I was born with a old soul.
The places often remind me of my childhood memories. (Of grandparents and neighbors so much I'm glad to experienced in life and now with you.
I know right when he went into that room that cross was the frist thing I noticed I loke how he didn't say anything about it lol
Definitely one of your best so far ! You amaze me that you still come up with these incredible properties -
Sure 😃❤️
This mansion got many interesting antique things, lot of money of the person in this place, it’s really sad to see no one are interested to keep its alive, sad to see it’s got abandoned, thank you for sharing
Wow this place…! What an amazing job you guys have! Love your videos!
Hey Leslie. The "washing bear" is a badger
The photo at 43:20, is that of "Marechal Pétain", a very controversial WW2 politician, sentenced to death and then pardoned by General de Gaulle
Late watching this. Could have done without the poor animals but each to their own. Always enjoy your videos. ❤️
I agree. Sport hunting was a culturally important past-time in that era, and I’m happy it is internationally deemed an unacceptable practice. ❤️
The wallpapers among the best ever seen. The statues of porcelain and bronze are obviously high value. Amazing.
Washing bear ❤ lol, good old translate! Haha it gets it so wrong sometimes....in the UK we call them Badgers
its sunday again..nice ( havent seen the normal singer sowing machine yet ) ??
Beautiful wall paper and dine so well. What an interesting place. Glad it hasn't been destroyed by people. Thx for sharing 😀
Love you reviews, they are always interesting and cover so much. Just want to say the decoration above and around the chandelier in the old houses is a moulding, but are called ceiling medallions. Keep up the good work.
I always enjoy your explores. The "washing bear" (I think that's what you translated it to) umbrella stand is a badger in English.
Yes, the badger was made into an umbrella stand.
Oh yeah Lan 🥺
I always watch your videos, I love how you capture every detail. Show the date in which year it was made. Everything about this house I liked was the stuffed animal stern. I feel sorry for the animals. Thanks a lot.Sorry for my English, if there is a mistake in the text, I use a translator to thank you
Fantastic place minus the dead animals. If that were my father's house I would clean out the dead animals, clean and redecorate. Also open all the windows and do a cleansing with Palo Santo and live there. That man had bad energy I think.
Oh how I’d love to redo this beautiful house. I love to explore with you.
Thank you so much for this remarkable tour. An amazing piece of history frozen in time🙏🏻😍🙏🏻
~ Oh how I would LOVE to get my Hands on this Place and Restore it BACK to the " ORIGINAL BEAUTY " it once was .
Wow Lesley what a beautiful house with so many beautiful things left behind thanks for sharing x
The animal displays are hideous but the home is a wonderful Art Deco time capsule. Fantastic chandeliers. So many expensive pieces left to just decay - sad.
WOW! the scenery at the beginning is so delightful
Hi Leslie, just love your videos
Incredible video Leslie....enjoyed watching. Great work.
Beautiful blues of course xx Favourite blues . So familiar. LOL. Very. Definitely a lifetime. Yes hurting me instead of heal ing me up and letting me get back to work. Burbs feeling. Must fix this issue with the Drs.
All those upside down crucifixes! That’s a bit creepy. Still a beautiful place full of oddities.
I came on the comments to see if anyone else had noticed
@@lissanne9769 I know that is true about Peter, but the cross above the bed had Jesus on it. This is not respect
I love watching those places left behind for many years
Another great episode! Thank you!
absolutley breath taking
Hey Lesley! How are you? You are my favorite explorer. I love your videos, always awesome! 👏😍🇧🇷
Hope your doing good in America, you are an old soul Lesley, you send that through your personality in your videos! Great one here❤️🥰
Hey 👋
No mention of the upside down crucifix. So creepy !
sad that someone moved things around in the bedroom. You can see where they took the crucifix and moved it putting it upside down in the headboard from the where it was on the wall
