It is worth mentioning that when tying your knot, you should use the left over right, then right over left method. Meaning, cross the ends left over right for the first knot, then right over left for the second. It does make a difference.
That looks great. I've made stretch bracelets but not with seed beads. I know what I'll be making this weekend. Thanks for sharing and please keep those videos coming.
Love the stacking bracelets........very sweet n colourful..........one question tho.......if theres not real knot...wont these end up falling apart???........I like the way you did them..........but id worry about comming undone.....wait for reply before i try this dif' way..........thank you.............hugssss
Hi! It's called a big eye needle and it comes in several sizes - both would work beadaholique.com/products/the-beadsmith-big-eye-beading-needles-2-125-inches-long-pack-of and beadaholique.com/products/the-beadsmith-big-eye-beading-needles-2-125-inches-long-pack-of
The items and written instructions can be found on the following page: beadaholique.com/collections/beading-projects/products/stackable-seed-bead-bracelets-in-coral Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! It just depends on the hole sizes of your beads and how many times you want to thread a bead. The Big Eye needles we are using are approximately 0.41mm, which is equivalent to a size 12 needle. They are great for threading beads with 1mm holes twice. Here is a link to the big eye needles: beadaholique.com/products/beadsmith-big-eye-beading-needles-2-125-inches-long-pack-of-4
We don't have video on this. The technique would be the same as making one of the small ones, but you'd use a single long strand of stretch cord and then wrap it around your wrist as many times as you to get the desired look. In practice we've found doing it this way is inconvenient (the longer strand gets tangled very easily) and easy to wrap too tightly which could harm your circulation. I'd recommend using a thread that doesn't stretch for that sort of project, it'll help lessen both those problems.
We've got a kit for making a very similar design in a turquoise/sea green sort of color: beadaholique.com/collections/new-exclusive-beadaholique-jewelry-kits-serendipity-stretch-bracelets/products/serendipity-stretch-bracelet-kit-in-turquoise-exclusive-beadaholique-jewelry-kit We also have a couple of different green mixes you could use to make your own green design: beadaholique.com/products/czech-glass-seed-beads-8-0-round-1-ounce-mulligan-stew-mix beadaholique.com/products/czech-glass-seed-beads-8-0-round-1-ounce-irish-stew-green-mix
It's a big eye needle, which opens in the middle and makes threading a snap. It doesn't have any special bead magnetism though, I think that's just the camera making us look good :) Beading on a good thick fabric surface or mat helps too, if you press down in front of the beads you can get them to roll to you a bit. If you haven't tried a big eye needle before we have a video about them: ruclips.net/video/RVmgnOolECA/видео.html

I’m totally confused...I have a big eye needle and opelon .7mm and cannot even get one pass through seed beads. It’s too thick where the fiber is doubled up from passing through the needle. I can’t even fit two passes through 4mm beads. What am I doing wrong here?
We are using size 0.7mm Opelon stretch cord. You can find it here: beadaholique.com/products/opelon-stretch-bead-cord-0-7mm-82-feet-1-spool-white Thanks for watching!
That sounds like an especially springy batch of stretch cord you've got. What you might try is clipping the knot in place with a few binder clips or something similar and then applying the glue. Leave the clips in place for at least the first hour while the cement sets and then you should be good.
A toothpick and super glue can be a great method for these. Super glue also has the advantage of curing a lot faster than the G S hypo cement. Cure time may have been the cause of it not holding for you, it needs 24-48 hours to fully cure. It's finicky stuff, but perfect for when you need to apply glue in even smaller amounts than a toothpick.
It is worth mentioning that when tying your knot, you should use the left over right, then right over left method. Meaning, cross the ends left over right for the first knot, then right over left for the second. It does make a difference.
I really like those colors! Very pretty!

Hi, does the Opelon stretch need to be pre-stretched or do we use it right off the spool? Thanks for the great video!
In our experience Opelon doesn't need to be pre-stretched. It won't harm anything if you do, we just haven't found it necessary.
Great! Thank you very much!
I don't see where the links are for the various seed beads you are using in the video. Could you please post those? Thanks! :)

Love the bracelets. What size needle would you suggest for general beading? What size elastic cording?

How to tie with small beads?
are there any vids to make a stretch one on its own so it wraps not lots of small ones on there own

What is that needle you're using It looks like the beads are attracted to it somehow, or you have mad skills! LOL

Just to confirm, what size seed beads are being used? In our demonstration we use 6/0 and 8/0 seed beads. Thanks!

You must tell us the size of the card???

Why when I tie my knots they just bounce back and open up again, I managed to get it tight and glue it quickly but worried it’s going to come undone

@@beadaholique yes it’s a top rated stretch cord too! The knots just don’t tighten, I will try that thank you!
Hope that helps!
Tried this method but that glue didn't work for me, didn't hold at all, had to use some super glue instead with the help of a toothpick 😁

@@beadaholique OK cool, thank you 😊
