I am so conflicted on this topic of recording meltdowns because i have always agreed that it should be illegal to profit off your child on social media, but at the same time i see that autistic channels with kids bring so much awareness and distigmatization. Especially if the children are a little older and want to do this (even though i know generally kids can't consent). I don't know, maybe if the children's peers in school are very suportive and there is no bullying and the kids want to be online specifically to raise awareness about autism and not for other reasons, then i am kind of ok with it.

I believe that anyone can raise acceptance without posting a video of a meltdown. I don’t think such a video helps with de stigmatisation at all. That video will be out there for all to see, from classmates to teachers to potential employers in years to come

      Totally agree.
A Neurotypical would HATE to be recorded whilst recieving news of the death of a loved one (for example) and then falling to pieces and then that video going viral.
It's not ok! I detest those videos.
Thanks for the content Hun! Xxx
