Can you paint over powder coat?? | Painted Wheel Wells | 1968 Impala |

In this video we had the wheel wells sandblasted and then powder coated. Then we painted the bottom side with color matched Raptor Liner. The top side was base coat and clear coat. Stay tuned!

So you are able to paint over powder coat? The reason I’m asking is I had some rims powder coated gloss black, but I want to have some one add clear coat paint over the black gloss to protect them and have the shine stick longer? Is that possible or it won’t work on powder coat? Bad ass painting btw! Looks really good!

60 hardtop don't bring much money. One just sold on ebay for.like 3200...just depends on condition

Your Son is lucky to have you and the other guys to show him how to do things but most important how to figure out how to do projects without giving up because they are to hard............

What's tricky about the SPI clear? I've heard others say that but what is your take? It's a high solids verdad?

It's very high solid. Personally it's a little difficult for me to slick out.
